Pros: Easily adjustable and good sound quality
I am constantly using these headphones so it was important for me to get something with good sound and comfort. Never have been let down with sony products.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Don't break when I lay on them in bed at night and are still fairly comfortable because they're flat.
Cons: The sound is about what you'd expect for the price, maybe a little better.
These headphones are great. I think they have good sound and are comfortable, they were exactly what I was looking for when I asked my boyfriend to buy me some headphones for my ipod for Christmas. The sound isn't Bose quality, it's about what you'd expect from $20 headphones, maybe better, but they are still great in my opinion. It sounds good to me.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: great frequency response, very clear sound, comfortable, allows in ambient sound
Cons: allows in ambient sound
Some people want their ears hermetically sealed against the outside world. For them, these headphones are a lousy choice.
Other people (like me) want to hear what's going on (like someone knocking on the door). For them, these headphones are a great choice.
I use these off of a Fender guitar amplifier. The sound is crystal clear: the highs are clean and the bass is strong.
The tension over my ears is just right - they don't fall off, but there isn't too much pressure. The ear pads are also very comfortable - typical of my experience with Sony headphones.
The cord is a standard length, which for me, is always too short. I use a 10' extension cable, and the sound is still impressive.

Pros: Price
Cons: The chord is short
I do not have $100 to spend on Headphones, but these headphones are worth the $15-$20 I paid... Good Value, Comfortable. I love them. I use them daily and I love them.
Highly recommend

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Affordable
I really like these headphones versus the ear pieces I used to use that I find uncomfortable. The fit is good and sound is better than I expected for the price. Good headphones.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: good clarity
Cons: bass is not as much
After using it and comparing to Beats by DRE solo the price I paid is worth it, the difference in price is way worth it. the Beats is not 10 times better that this one, so for performance and price I would definitely go for this one!

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Great sounding headphones for the money
Cons: can be slightly uncomfortable for long-term wear
Looking for a new set of over-the-ear phones for everyday listening and some digital sound editing and these appeared to be worth a try. I must say after using them for a while I am glad I took a chance on them. Very nice range of sound, balanced with a solid bass and clear highs and a pleasant mid-range. Long term wearability is my only critique though a minor one at the most. These are really "on-the-ear" styled and they can get a little uncomfortable after several hours but again not a real problem. Overall however, for the money these are very good sounding headphones. If you are looking for headphones that offer a major step up in fidelity from ear buds these are an outstanding value.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: fair price
Cons: just okay
I bought these for listening on flights. Didn't want to spend much and these are great for the money paid. If they broke or were lost, I didn't want to worry about that. Not studio sound of course, but for the price, pretty good....I'm happy with them.....

My son got these as a present for Christmas, its now 1/5 and they have already stopped working. There is no short in them, they simply don't work. We will have to exchange them. My daughter got a pair as well and they work fine, so hopefully its just a defective pair.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Easy to Use, Fits Perfectly, Beautiful Quality, Price
Probably one of the best headphones out there. Easy to use as you just plug in the L-shaped cord and wear the headphones. No need to worry about the size since it has an adjustable headband. The headband is also very comfortable due to it's urethane ear cushions. The quality of these headphones are almost as good as Dr. Dre's Beats at a low, affordable price.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Comfortable, affordable and great price
We bought these for four kids ages eight to twelve. All four sets immediately came out of their boxes and were put to use. When I finally was able to wrestle a pair away from one of the kids, I found them comfortable and the sound quality was much better than I expected for $20. I liked that they adjust down small enough to fit an eight year old, but I can wear them comfortably too. I also like that the earpieces turn so that they can lay flat inside a backpack. I can't speak for the long term durability since we have only had them for two days but the fact that they have survived even this long is a plus! Bottom line - if you are tired of the incessant music coming from your kid's 3DS or Touch buy these, you won't regret it.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Good price, great sound
We bought these for the grand kids to use with the DVD player in the back seat of the car. They're perfect for that use because they're relatively inexpensive and deliver really excellent sound quality.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Ambient Noise
I understand they are not marketed as "noise cancelling, but they did the opposite. Ambient noise was AMPLIFIED. I describe it as the background noise getting in between the ear pad and your ear and just staying there, front of mind.

Sony MDR-ZX100 On Ear Studio Headphones - Black
Pros: Cheap but decent.
Cons: Gets me headaches.
For its price tag, it's a good deal. Only negative thing I have to say is since I started using it, it gets me a headache if I turn the volume up to the max. I've used many headsets before and this is not normal. Other than that, it's pretty good and can live with it.
