Necessary for wii with game cube games

I bought a wii. It said it was compatible with game cube games. They were cheap. So I bought them. Then I had to buy the game cube controllers. Then, I had to buy memory cards. Belatedly, I realized that this memory card was the best deal, because the memory size is sixteen times the memory, while the price only double the standard memory card size. I'd be a lot happier if I'd known this to start with. So, i'm telling those people like me who buy video games for kids and don't know much about them. Buy this memory card, not the standard sized ones, and save money.

Misleading but good deal

Interchangable with Wii and Game Cube (nice). Ad said "last one" when I bought it but still lots of them out there (irked me). Good price. Great for saving Animal Crossing. My daughter was thrilled to get it.

This card is great, has so much room on it that my daughter is now able to go to places on her game that she couldn't before! There's lots of memory on this card!

Bought this for my Wii (which, for those of you who don't know, is backwards compatible with Gamecube products) It works great and was much cheaper than other brands...

8 Months, Still No Problems

I'm surprised at how many people have had their Madcatz memory cards break in just a couple of days. I know that Madcatz products usually suck, but I bought their 1019 block memory card several months ago and I've had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS WITH IT. Maybe I'm just lucky.

My only complaint would be that It's a bit bulkier than Nintendo's memory cards, but fortunately it comes with it's own case... which is a huge plus for me because I'd rather have it's own seperate case than have to store it in one of my game cases.

This by far is the best memory card on the market for the game cube. It is my 3rd one. I use them for the sports games. They can hold much needed data. Buy one , and see for yourself.
