I bought this for my nephew who just received a Nintendo DS. Even though this is rated and "E" for everyone, it then has a disclaimer that it is really for kids 10 years and above; with which I would have to agree. The Overstock description is not accurate, there is shooting in this game, death and it is pretty gross. If your child likes the series, then maybe it would be better, but my 7 year old nephew did not like this game at all.

I've never played the Playstation verions of this game. I own the DS version & found it enjoyable. There are some places in the game where I was stuck.. but eventually figured it out. If you want some light fun. This is the game for you. If you dont like swinging from hooks & learning different jumps.. find another game. If I had to make the decision to buy this game again - I would. Good luck with your game of Death Jr!
