Great Product - Slight Defect

Well I already owned one of these units and I was very impressed and that is what lead me to this purchase. The price was better than I could find in a store, however the unit has a slight defect. Everything works like its suppose to except for the X - Button. The X - Button does not respond correctly and the game that I would be playing would be constantly pressing the X - Button for me. I took the unit apart to see the deal and found that the pad that the buttons press upon was ripped below the X - Button and would get stuck. I attempted to make a repair myself and it works better now, but it still isn't quite like its suppose to be. Outside of that, the Logitech cordless controller is the best one on the market. By far!

Lesson learned

I purchased two cordless PS2 controllers for my grandson's. One of the controllers buttons were sticking from the get-go and unusable. In the craziness of opening presents christmas morning, the return info/documentation was thrown away by Mom and Dad.

Lesson: Nana keeps the documentation so any items needing to be sent back can be!

I'm sure Overstock would have replaced the item, I've never had any trouble.

I knew it was a refurb, but...

Product works just fine and was a good value. I realized I was purchasing a refurbished item but they could have cleaned it up- there was gunk on the bottom of the controller surrounding the label- like from frequent handling by dirty hands. Eyeew. I took a q-tip dipped in alcohol to it to try and remove it. Honestly, is it to much to expect that they clean the item?

Just Like New

I ordered two controllers and my children have used them a few times. I found the controllers to be like new and I just ordered another a few days ago. The kids seem to be happy with the controllers. I am not into gaming, they work, I am happy. Set up was easy although no directions were included...kinda common sense. Remember to push the small button on the piece (receiver) that is inserted into the gaming system.

Adequate controller

This controller is responsive and very playable. However it has no off button and drains the battery. You have to remove the battery when you stop playing which is a bother.

Great product from Logitech

I've been warming up to Logitech lately. The company is coming around. I remember the days when I hated to buy Logitech products--those were the days when they made accessories for the PC only. Nowadays I have several Logitech products in my house and I have no complaints from them.

This controller is a great controller for the PS2. as people mentioned, it comes in a plastic bag. It looks like something that someone has used before. Before I use it, I wipe it down with clorox wipes to clean it and hopefully kill off whatever germs is learking on it. So far, it's been great.

Don't pass this up!!

Great Controller

A friend of mine has one of these that he bought brand new, and loves it. I have an older Madcats wireless, that I've nearly worn out, then I found this one on here. Good time to upgrade. It's excellent, response time is very good, no delay so far with fresh batteries.

No Factory Refurb

This is not factory refurbished.. It should just state used. Left stick had some wear, the body showed some minor wear also. Works great though. No problems. Its still half the price of a new one.!!

review of ps2 logitech cordless controller

I ordered 2 from overstock.com and i got both of them. however they were slightly dirty and in plastic bags. they each had very different manuals. one had been marked on with a marker. one controller didnt work and the instructions said to install the software but there was no software. the one working controller seems ok but feels a little sticky. do yourself a favor and buy this controller but do it from a different seller.

Logitech Cordless Controller

Very cool, Very nice cordless controller. Sit back and relax from anywhere in your room with this controller. I was in my kitchen making a sandwhich while playing WSOP (World Series of Poker) with the unit. You do have to be in the line of sight of your PS2. So buy this controller and enjoy!

Excellent Controller

I purchased one of these from a local game store upon the recomendation of an employee. After having it the controller for almost two years now I have to say it is amazing. It is extremely comfortable and responsive. I have never experienced any delays or lag in the most demanding games such as fighting or beat timing games. In addition, the range is great. I am able to walk from my living room into my kitchen (35 feet away with a wall seperating the two) and still control games. It only requires two AA batteries so the weight is also very good. It has excellent battery life (I think I have only changed the batteries in mine twice in the two years I have had it).
Since my initial purchase I have since ordered a second one from Overstock as the price is amazing, basically half of what I paid in store. I recommend this item for not only anyone looking for a wireless controller, but anyone looking for an additional or replacement controller, period. It is an excellent pad with all  more

Logitech wireless controller

Easy to use, decent battery life, good tension in the analog sticks, smooth force feedback, very little lag. All in all, a good controller, I would reccomend to anyone with space issues, pets, or just too many wires in their home.
