I ordered this Scope from Amazon , which the seller was Adorama Cameras. After I placed the order , I noticed the customer reviews about the product and wanted to cancel it , but I learned that this order could not be canceled from Amazon and I had to contact with the seller .I sent an e-mail to Adorama Cameras immediately to cancel my order but could not recieve any answer.Next week , after I recieved the scope from the carier and opened the box , I saw that one leg of the tripod was broken.I suggest not to buy any products from Adorama Cameras.

So very sad. I am on a tight budget, and I was excited that Celestron would make a budget spotting scope to fit my needs. Its focus is Horrible, it just will not adequately focus on anything, at any magnification, it is fiddly and shaky. If it is possible, it lets in too much light, it actually hurts the eye. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I decided to try it as a celestial scope, and pointed it at the moon. Again, it would barely even focus reasonably on THE MOON for goodness sakes! Plus you couldn't really see much detail, as it was sooooo
eye-watering bright. After I let my eyes adjust again, I tried pulling in any of the bright stars that were out, and I could not find a one in the scope.
I am begining to realize that there really are not any low end spotting scopes, they just haven't made the leaps that binoculars have in affordable quality optics. Still I never imagined I would have to report so bitterly about a scope from as reputable a manufacturer as Celestron. Very sad,

I really wanted this very cool looking scope to work as good as it looked...but it doesn't. The biggest problem I have with this scope is not the clarity, as it's fairly clear at lower power 30-45X (60-90X is a joke), but the focusing system is just HORRIBLE. Is mine broken? It's almost impossible to obtain a clear, crisp focus and there is no logic in the operation of the focuser. It seems to just "jump" around at random at times. Just when I'm about to give up, I attain something like a focus...I really think that Celestron should buy all of these back and save their name from the shame of these poor quality scopes. These really give "made in China" a new meaning for junk. Come on Celestron, I own many of your fine products, why would you let us down like this? I grudgingly gave it 2 stars ONLY because I can actually see the holes in the target from 100yds, after several seconds of focus fiddling. At distances beyond that I would wager it's pretty much useless. I would return it but

Good power and spotting capability for a price quite a bit less than the better known names. I was a little leary at first but that is no longer true.

Simply put..dont bother. The optics suck. At 90x forget any though of a clear image and its barely functional at 30x. The build of the unit even looks cheezy. Their binoculars put their spotter scopes to shame.. that is how bad it is.

I purchased this spotting scope, now I am sending it back! I attempted to thumb my nose at fellow gun enthusiasts, by not wishing to spend $250 on a spotting scope. I think I can spend less but not on this Mini-Mak.
Comes with a decent case and is definitely compact. I set it up on it's tripod and started my critique. Taking off the lens cap, the trim ring says "NIROGEN FILLED", not niTrogen. I guess to get the correct spelling for an inert gas, you have to pay more.
At 30x.. image wasn't too bad but any attempt to focus this unit while looking thru it will drive you crazy. The partially exposed focusing knob on the side requires enough pressure to turn that you will have to reposition the stand adjustments.( object will end up off center )
The eyepiece is at a 45 degree angle and is not user friendly for a shooter, I reccommend a straight-thru design so you don't have to repositon yourself so much.
Eye relief is terrible and requires practice to achieve the image. Eye relief gets
