Memorex makes a very reliable blank DVD+R that can handle up to 4.7 GB of data. Moreover, these blank DVD+Rs are capable of recording data at speeds up to 16x. The data I record onto these lasts for years, proving the test of time. I have used these as data discs, discs to record video and discs to record video. Great!
The DVD+R discs are compact and easy to store. While the discs are still blank, store them in the circular case on the spindle that they came in. After your burn data onto them, I would recommend storing them in slim jewel cases instead of paper sleeves. It's just better protection for your DVD+Rs that have data stored on them. Don't store these discs, burnt or blank, in rooms that become very hot; this causes damage to any brand of this type of disc and you could lose data over time.

I received this spindle of DVD-R's in a box that was 3 times bigger than it should have been. The spindle had been knocked around so much during shipping that the spindle itself broke as did the bottom of the spindle. This left me with 100 DVD's in a box. The product is fine but it's really annoying to have 100 DVD's on a broken spindle. Bad experience that could have easily been avoided.

I have never ever given a 1 star rating to any product before as far as I can recall, but this baby deserves it; if I could give a zero I would.
I bought 4 of these 100 pack spindles. Everyone of them dont work, not even one. You can tell by the amount of disks that I ordered that I am no novice when it comes to making DVD's.
I have tried these with 3 different burners and all of them give the same result. Dont get me wrong the burn process went fine, but after years of burning and going back to copy something you burnt earlier and cant copy them because of disk error you come to realise that a "succesful burn" does not mean that it was done right.
This is why I started to chose the 'Verify After Burn' method. This process ensures that what is burnt is actually an exact replica of what you wanted to backup. I did this process with these disks and all of them had no problems in the burn process but everyone of them FAILED the verify process, and I do mean all of them.

I bought a batch of these from Comp USA. When I first started burning DVD's I used Memorex. I've since switched to Verbatim & Fuji but these were on sale so I gave them a try. I guess I should have checked the first DVD but since I used Memorex before and didn't get any errors I assumed everything was OK. I burned over 30 before something caused me to check one and sure enough it didn't work. When I checked the other 30+ plus I burned they didn't work either. It was obvious then what the problem was. I tried several at different speeds and 4x was the fastest speed I could reliably burn at. I use an NEC 3450a 16x DVD burner and I know not all discs will burn at maximum listed speed but this is too big a gap. I'm sticking with Verbatim.

After burning about 50 DVD's, I have no coasters. The surface prints just beautifully. I use a Epson R-320 printer and the results of this printer and the Memorex DVD's are great.
I ordered this twice. Once I was sent the hub printable version and the other has a narrow strip at the hub that you can print with a gap where the stacking ring is. At first, I was disappointed, but after using both I find them both to be very useful.
The only negative is that Amazon should specify which printable type you are going to get rather than leaving it up to chance.
