I wonder why this item is more than $3. I got the item but when I saw it I think is it just over priced. The plastic shield is less than 3 inches. What is 3.5 inches is the paper where it is attached on the packaging but you throw that. If this shield will prevent my camera from breaking when I drop it then $13 is worth it. The packaging is good but the shield is just a surprise. I did NOT use it because it is not really 3.5 inches. It is less than 3 inches. I was to use it on a Canon Vixia HF S200.
