Great Starter Camera!!!

This is my first SLR. It has been a great introduction intophotography. I've had this camera for 5 months now and LOVE!!!IT!!!I have taken some fantastic pictures of my son(also 5 monthsold) and my 7 year old daughter. I've had 11x14 prints comeout pro quality.This camera is great for someone who wants to take the timeto learn about digital photography. It is not a point &shoot. It has a bit of a learning curve. Sure, you can setit for Full-auto and let the camera do all the work, but youcan also do that for a few hundred dollars less with a point& shoot.Awesome value for the entry level photographer.

The Rebel XT from Canon is well worth its price....Had used the XTi for around 2 weeks before I decided to go in for this one because of the price....has all the features of a regular digital camera..color clarity is good as well as ease of handling if you are from a Canon background. Would have been good if Canon had maintained the same width of the camera as users would notice that the size has slightly reduced and it takes some time to get adjusted if they were using the 35mm SLR. Image clarity is good. Color depth is present. Night shots require additional flash, Over all one of the best in the market and I love my camera

I love this camera

I am an artist who has owned several Nikon digital cameras before and I am very happy to be back in the 35 mm world again. This camera has great resolution. I can print 15 x 23 at 150 dpi on my large format epson ink jet and it looks the same as 300 dpi. I am very happy with the range of options. I wouldn't suggest ever using the fully automatic option since you may end up shooting at 1600 ISO. At that speed the photographs do end up with quite a bit of noise over the whole image. The camera is light weight but sturdy which is great for this woman's hands.
