Rapala Tournament Fishing!
Pros: Price and the flow of the gameplay.
Cons: Cannot use GameCube controller.
This third installment for the Metroid series on the Nintendo Wii is pretty exciting. The storyline is strong with several twists and to me is the best of the three. Using the Wii controller and nun-chuck took a little getting used to but after a couple of levels it became natural. I highly advise anyone who has played as Samus previously to buy this.

Played Rapala Bass Fishing on PS2, found this one to be the most similar. LOVE IT!!! I dont use the rod/ reel attachment, just the wii remote, and it works great. No need for extra money on other needless gear. Have fun!

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
I got his for my husband. We set it up and had to go on the internet just to figure out how to cast. The instructions are worthless. After 30 minutes of trying, my husband just said, "I don't like it." But he kept with it and now is OK with it, but not thrilled. I wish I would've gotten it used somewhere. We are not impressed.

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
Pros: Ease of Game Play
Cons: Getting used to controls
I bought this game after much debate and it turns out I picked the right fishing game. Fishing is fairly easy and exciting. If you enjoy fishing you'll enjoy this game. Would not recommend for people who have never fished however.

i love playing it cause when i get a fish on my line i actually get excited. one problem is that in the instructions it doesnt really explain how to net the fish so its kinda hard but its fun once u get the hang of it. i love this game!!!

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
I recently purchased this game (used so it was cheaper) and was surprised to find it wasn't all bad. The game is really easy to play. It has plenty of lures and stuff to start out with. You can unlock more lures and rods and stuff in tournament mode. The commentary is a bit odd. You cast and it looks to be an ok cast but he says your off the mark and to try again?? I still caught fish even with bad casts. The fish when you real them up to the boat do look like they are having a spaz attack but whatever no big deal. The big fish you have to use a net to get them which looks like a radar screen, you have to point the wii mote at the screen and put the target on the little fish and then you have to press some buttons in order to net the fish. Over all if you can look past a couple of minor gliches then the game is really fun to play. I personally am goin to continue to play it.

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
Pros: Graphics
Cons: Gets old fast
Read all the reviews, still bought and wish i hadn't. game is just a big disapointment. I hope they come out with a better game than this. The graphics are ok, sometimes it looks like the game is spazzing out though with how the fish tries to fight. Save your money people

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
Pros: Lots of choices in lures, tournament fishing mode is decent
Cons: Poor use of the Wii remote, not much fish variety per area, gets old fast
I got this game in my "Wii package deal", where I had to choose 3 games on the spot. I regret buying it. It was fun for the first few days, but now I never touch it... I actually gave it away to my brother in law, and I don't even think he plays it. The tournament mode is cool because you have different challenges, and there are a TON of selections of lures. But, this game was disappointing because there are AT MOST 2 kinds of fish per area, and the reel in function is a joke. You basically just hold down on the 'A' button the whole time, and there are fish (like the rainbow trout) that seem to almost always throw the hook, no matter what you do. Also, when it comes to netting the bigger fish the screen that comes up was very confusing, and there are NO instructions on how to do it in the manual. I had to go online to find out and after that it was simple enough, but the lack of instructions was frustrating. I would rent this game for a weekend just to see how you like it, and by the time it is due, you will most likely be ready to return it.

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
Pros: Interactive Play, Decent Graphics, Depth of Equipment
Cons: Small Fishing Areas
I picked this game up cheap on Black Friday and am pleasantly surprised at it's quality of gameplay and fun factor. Was easy to learn how to play and I was catching fish in my first couple of casts. The Wii makes this game great because it is so interactive. There are different species of fish (stripers, muskee, crappie, walleye, and largemouth) to catch and they have varrying traits so the game is not as repetitive as it could have been. If you like fishing this is a great game.

Rapala Tournament Fishing!
Pros: Looks decent
Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE
this game is the worst game on the wii. theres hardly any fish per area, like 2 species per location, the environments are small, and above all else, there are glitches in just about everything. sure there are a lot of lures, but dont let that fool you. casting is near impossible, reeling in is pretty much one speed, and the fish are soooo hard to find. the legend of zelda: twilight princess has a better fishing minigame. yes, a MINIGAME inside a game from a totally different genre is better at this title's main objective. i got rapala fishing at launch and it honestly one of the worst games ive played.
sega bass fishing is coming out in january, and fishing master is out but it isnt much better if youre looking for a fishing game.
for your sake, or you childrens sake, dont get this. like said before, sega bass fishing is coming out in 2 months and itll be priced for only 10 bucks more. it was the best fishing game on the dreamcast and it should hold up just as well on the wii, if not better. get them a reserve if u need to show them somthing but please, im begging you as a true fan of nintendo and the wii, dont get this.

Our whole family loves this game. My husband and I really enjoy how much this game makes you feel like you are really fishing. Even our 8 year old and 12 year old girls enjoy the game as much as we do! I would highly recommend this for anyone that loves fishing.
