Ok,so I lied when I said HUGE. But let me explain. In an update to the gamecube original you're a wired lookin' kid who moves to a small village. You have a name for yourself, your town, and a birthday! In it your village is inhabited by three animals [more move in as you progress]. When you start out you get a really tiny house.
You can make it bigger by paying the bills. Then comes the fun part........[takes deep breath] shopping, collecting, chatting, and designing your own clothes. Theres lots of festivals, with prizes. You can shop for clothes at the Able's Sisters,or for tools and furniture in Nook's shop.Nook will expand just like your house.
There's really no action in this game, but you have to remember the good parts! But the big news is conecting with other people's towns on ds to ds conection or WiFi.Now that you have heard the good parts here are the cons.
1.
No missions: It is not a big deal but it could have helped.
2.
Same personalty:Animals don't really have very different

"Animal Crossing: Wild World" is one of the funnest games for the DS we have played. The game is essentially a bunch of mini games with no real goal, other than to have fun. You can "earn" money ("bells") by selling things you find or fish you catch (very fun) to buy furniture and expand your house. The game is loaded with special features and characters that show up on preset days, adding some enjoyable variety to the game. The wireless multi-player and on-line play is a great fun for the whole family, we have 4 DS and 4 Animal Crossing games to play with each other (your characters go to one of the player's "towns"). We range in age from 11 to 45 years old and play this game several times a week, either alone or together!
Highly recommended for all ages!

I purchased Animal Crossing about a week ago for my eight year old child. Not only did she love it, I thought it was really cool too. What we realized after a few days of playing was that the characters are not only snarky but down right mean. I'm in shock because my daughter was just called stupid and rude for no apparent reason by one of the characters (Gwen). I've been playing the game with her because I'm very cautious about anything my daughter gets into. I noticed that at any given time, all of the characters can be petty, materialistic, rude and mean. How is this game rated E??? I don't get it. This game is not for kids who's parents teach them manors, respect for themselves and respect for others. Now.........I gave this game one star for fun because other than having to deal with the characters, this game "could" be really great. My rating of one star for overall is based on the fact that I can not ignore the blatant and hostile tone of this game. I will never reccomend

My young child enjoys this game very much. There is no real plot or quest to the game. You simply spend your time collecting objects, completing tasks, or going fishing. It is relaxing, non-frustrating, and entertaining. A word of caution, though, if your young child is sensitive to criticism - if you do not save the game exactly the way described, or if your system is accidentally turned off without saving, when you play next you are confronted by a mole-like character that serves no purpose but to hurl insults at the player, calling them stupid for not saving properly. To me this is over the line and very nearly ruins the game in my opinion. Children today have enough to worry about without having to deal with the anxiety induced by a video-game bully. Older children, of course, will merely laugh off this character's insults, but for very young children I give this one three stars. A shame, it could have easily been five. I have no idea what the developers of this game were

This game is so much better than the Gamecube version, (which I own and am a big fan of) in many ways.
Pros:
1.THE ANIMALS ARE SMART!
Unlike the GC version, where the animals just stand around and they only do stuff if you talk to them, WW animals sometimes approach you wanting to talk to you! Crazy Redd even requires a password to get in, which is more realistic.
2.LOADS OF NEW PEOPLE!
In wild world, there are tons of new people! There's an insurance agent that gives you 100 bells every time you get stung by bees or trip (you can trip in this game). There are also new species of villagers.
3.NEW FISH AND BUGS!
There are many more species of fish and bugs in this game. Now when you go sea fishing, you can catch clown fish or even sharks!
4.FLEA MARKET!
Ever find that you caught a fish that you'd never caught before and nook would only pay 500 bells? Now there's a flea market that pays double what Nook would pay!
5.NO MORE ACRES!
In the GC version, there are 30 acres, divided 5x6. In

This game is a huge laugh, I have had it for about a year and everyday is an adventure, with the town's residents or visitors. Using the DS's brilliant online service, players can meet other players online, exchange a friend code and meet each other and play. Wether your in Japan or the UK, 'theres always someone to play'.

I bought Animal Crossing for my 10-year old daughter. She has not put it down since. She loves the myriad of games and activities it offers her. She has abandoned her computer and now spends her free time playing animal crossing.

This is a highly addictive game, I've found myself dragging my stylus across the screen for hours! The main reason it's addictive to me is that you have to find various objects to sell in order to pay off your loan to Tom Nook. Some of the things you get to do in this life-simulation game are beach combing, digging up fossils, fishing, planting a garden, running errands for your animal neighbors, catching bugs, creating new constellations, and filling up the local museum with bugs, fish, and fossils. It's a really fun game that'll keep you entertained for hours on end. Watch out for this one, it's highly addictive!!

As you probably know, Animal Crossing has nothing in particular to beat. You can fish, catch bugs, dig up fossils, create constellations, send letters and talk to neighbors, collect furniture and other items, design clothing, and increase the size of your house. There are many other options such as planting trees and flowers or the vast possibilities of visiting and being visited by other users over an internet connection. In short, it is not really the sort of game that has an end to it. And while this is neato, I find that the best part of it is the feeling surrounding it.
Everything in Animal Crossing is simple and wonderful. Even the ruder neighbors are funny and not actually angering. The things the animals say are often surprising or completely random, and each has a very distinct personality.
There's something about this gentle lifestyle that really calms and captivates me. I can almost see it as life as it perhaps ought to be. All of the neighbors know one another, and nobody stays

I'm 24 years old and bought this game over the summer. Since then I have bought this game for my neighbor who is 10 and another girl that is 11. Both girls loved the game as well as I. My boyfriend who is also my age laughed at me for playing this game and one day decided to give it a try and now plays it everyday. Some people may thing this game is lame but I have yet to meet anyone who gave it a fair chance and didn't like it. Even my sister's boyfriend who is 31 was playing this game for over an hour! The characters are funny and there are so many things that can be done. There have been times where I might get bored with the game but I've played it every day since I got it, which has been four months. I suggest buying this game is you're interested or buy it for someone that has a DS. I also recommend buying the $15 AC playing guide to go with it, it makes the experience better!!!

this is the best game ever! i would tell you about all the technical stuff, but you probebly would rather hear about how to bother your neighbors on it! if they are sad and you keep talking to them their voice gets really low. to make them mad hit them on the head over and over with a net. also they get ticked if you keep talking to them. tom nook owns the store and he is a racoon. he bothers my emotions. anyway, you can also send people letters and all this other stuff. if you go to the cafe in the museum on saturday at 8pm a dog will give you songs for your radio. get the guide too, i don't have one, but i copied all the important stuff from it in my notebook. the guide belonged to my friend. anywat, the last thing i have to say is: IF YOU HAVE A DS BY ALL MEANS GET THIS GAME!!!! also this game has cool graphics and it reminds me of my cousin. i miss her:(
THIS GAME RULES IT IS MY FAVORITE!!!!!! bye.

Seriously, I know it's a silly game but it's so fun. I cannot put it down. Especially when I first bought this. It's so much fun. I love the idea of having to set up town. You buy clothes and pick fruit and plant fruit to make gardens. You interact with other animals and you can travel to different "towns" if you have Wifi, or go somewhere that does.
I love it! I have had this since the first day it came out and I still play it at least once a day! Call me crazy, but this game is awesome and I have so much playing.
This is very easy to get going and understand. Definitely for all ages, I have an 80 year old grandma who loves to play this, as does my nieces and nephews.
