Read the instructions. You can preset your radio volume and think that is what you will get when the radio alarm goes off. NOT! What you get is ever increasing volume at 1 minute increments until it reaches 70% of the maximum volume of the radio, NOT 70% of your setting.

Awesome as a bedroom radio. It will fill a small room with music quite easily and this unit gets VERY loud. It's great as a clock. It will sync with the touch of one button to the time on your IOS device. . You can set it manually but, that's actually quite easy too. It has several different dimmer levels so the clock display won't keep you awake at night You have two alarms :-)<br />Use those as you please. Ie. sharing with the spouse if you wake at different times, using one for the week and one for the weekend etc. You can also set each alarm to wake differently if you like. Ie. One to wake with ipod/iphone and the other to wake with buzzer or radio if you want. I thought this was pretty cool.<br />The low profile of the dock is something I've never seen from another manufacturer. This was the selling point for me. It looks awesome on my nightstand, doesn't take up a lot of space and the docking mount helps keep your IOS device from getting knocked over. BE WARNED: IOS docks-unless they have extended wires for their connector pins WILL NOT CONNECT TO AN IOS DEVICE WITH A HEAVY CASE ON IT LIKE AN OTTER BOX because the pin connector won't reach your unit through your case. You will have to remove the case every night. This is something to think about. Not just in the instance of this unit but, probably most units.

I bought this product about 1 year ago. after about 1 month it randomly stopped working. It will completely shut down for about one day, and then just start working again. This has happened about once every month for the past year, and I have been late for work because of it several times. I guess I can still use it for its Ipod player once in a while, but I have to order a new alarm clock now.

I brought to replace my old alarm clock but liked that i could hook up my iPod to listen to music while relaxing in my room or doing homework. Haven't had any problems out of it so far and the sound quality is nice and somewhat loud for my room.

I bought this for my daughters birthday to go with her iPod Touch 4 only to find it wouldn't work with it. It wouldn't work, but it would work on her friends 2nd generation iPod touch. I took it back to the store today for a full refund. Based on the online info, I took a chance that it might work only to waste my time and dissappoint my daughter since it does have really cool features.

Okay, I was looking for a multi-functional device such as this to place next to my bed. For a good while now, I've been using my cellphone's alarm to wake up to go to work..I found that to not be a good idea anymore after being late to work. For some strange reason, I manage to turn it off (instead of hitting a snooze) in my half-asleep zombie-like state in the mornings and go back to sleep. Well, ENOUGH is ENOUGH... I went down to Best Buy and found this Dual Alarm and picked it up. As soon as I set it up, I was overall impressed with only a few gripes.

I only have one complaint and its little... I wish the volume would get louder. Other than that i love it. Its got good sound quality, a nice look and easy to set up and use.
