Linksys E2000 Advanced Wireless-N Router, Refurbished
Pros: Great Bandwith
Cons: No static IP Reservation
It set up real fast, the setup software looks like it is for people who don't know a thing about routers. however, it is hard to configure to a specific home network. I have a printer that requires a static IP, the router does not allow for static IP address reservation. The bandwidth is however, GREAT. If you have a simple home network, this may be the unit for you. However, if you have a complex home network, you may want something more configure-friendly. Also, and this is the deal breaker for me, it does have Dual Wireless, 2.4 G and 5 G, but they do NOT work simultaneously, you have to pick one OR the other.

Linksys E2000 Advanced Wireless-N Router, Refurbished
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Ordered this nice sounding "refurbished" router online and picked up at store. It was to replace my old Netgear G router. Followed instructions on supplied Cd, etc. by unable to connect to the internet (DSL). Finally located a service telephone no. (not supplied, and you can't chat online with the new router connected if its not working!). They first and immediately tried to sell me a service call for $29.95 on a $45.00 router? .I explained it was new/refurbished, and then they tried to help, eventually blaming the DSL provider. After over 4 hours on the phone with them and the DSL company, they stated that they felt the router was "defective" and I should take it back to the store and get a new one- I did take it back, but I'm not (never) going to purchase another CISCO product. Also as you probably could guess, the "help" was foreign and very difficult to understand. Best Buy as always was cooperative and helpful on the purchase and return- no problems there. My first review of anything- maybe this will help someone.

Linksys E2000 Advanced Wireless-N Router, Refurbished
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
I just got it today (5/4/11). Setup was quick, took about 10 minutes.<br />After having problems with 2 other routers by 2 different companies, this was so much better. I also bought a wireless adapter for my desktop computer. The setup for the adapter took a little time only to find-out my firewall was the problem. I disabled the firewall and it connected.

Linksys E2000 Advanced Wireless-N Router, Refurbished
Pros: Software works with OS X, easy to set up, factory refurb, price, dual band
Cons: Software is old, have to update it... no biggie, AC adapter cable is only 5 feet long
Installation was easy. Only problem I had was the Cisco Connect that came with the CD is old. Was able to get tech support from their website and chat with them online. More efficient than call them on the phone. Was able to solve the issue in minutes. I never had much problems with Linksys. That's why I didn't hesitate to buy a refurbished one and save money. The software will work on OS X. The AC adapter should work overseas... up to 220V - it's just short - 5 feet long.
