This is an amazing video game. The graphics are superb. The gameplay is fascinating, and it is more adult-oriented because it involves actual history. You learn more about the Templar Knights among other things. It has excellent artifical intelligence, and it is not too easy but not too difficult. I enjoy that there is such a large variety of things for Altair to do. He can ride horseback and explore areas at leisure, since the game is not completely linear. He can kill in a variety of methods, and there are many bonuses which make you want to continue playing. I have played this game for 5 or 6 hours straight without becoming bored.
This is the only PS3 game so far other than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, that I would completely recommend buying to start your PS3 game collection. It will not disappoint you, and it is for people of all ages and as an adult I can tell you it is very suitable for any age!

Once again UbiSoft shines. This game is a wonderful escape to a time long ago. The main goal of the game is to complete nine assassinations. To achieve this goal, you must use stealth and other cool tactics to collect information on the target. These tactics include eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocketing, and completing tasks for a few Informers. There are also a number of side missions in this game, including climbing towers to map out the city and saving citizens that are being harassed by the city guards. There are also various side quests unrelated to the story such as hunting down and killing Templars and collecting numerous flags. At times the missions get a bit repetative but overall the scenery and ambiance make up for it. The graphics are amazing as is the sound. Highly recommended!

Assassins Creed is awesome! It might get a bit repetive after a bit but who cares when you've got the athleticism of a damn cougar and a great retractible blade to end the lives of those you wish! OK im getting sadistic here but the game is great and definitely worth checking out!

Here's an interesting combination. Take your basic action/adventure platform game, throw in a stealth kill element, set it in a reasonable accurate semblance of the Middle East during the Crusades and you have a game that surprised me enough to merit two playthrus. Keep in mind that this is not a favorite ganre of mine. I thinks the tidbits of fairly accurate eleventh Century history and the lavish illustration and animation are what drew me in, and the glorious fun of slaughtering Knights Templar and punching out irritating beggars kept me going.
You are actually two players. One is Desmond Miles, and escapee from the modern Assassin Cult, who falls into the hands of the Abstergo Corporation. Tis huge drug company wants one thing - Desmond's DNA memories of one of his ancestors. And this is your second character - Altair, a true assassin who fumbles a treasure hunt for an ancient artifact hidden under Solomon's Temple so badly that he is stripped of all rank by his master and given

I suggest anyone with a ps3 get this game. it is for the more mature player, if you could not tell by the name. great graphics, involved story line(there could be less talking at points), easy controls, hours of play time. if anyone ever asks you whats so great about 1080dpi technology, you could plug this baby in and let 'em see the opening sequence. if you ever played a "prince of persia" game, this takes it to the next level.

Just by the title, don't think that this is in anyway a child's game. Definitely, no one younger than fourteen should have this game nor anyone who doesn't realize that this is a game and not real life. This is great entertainment and very good graphics. The best PS3 game so far.
