Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
I have multiple kinect games and this is the worst besides joy ride. I've played game party on wii and it was okay, or should i say 'Playable'. On the kinect, this is not intuitive, the menu's are almost impossible to navigate thru. They have this extremely odd way of selecting OK where you have to find this mythical spot where it will finally select OK. All players have to remain in front of the sensor, even with games where only one person plays at a time. Extremely clunky, not thought out, lackluster, and just a bust. Not so bad on the wii though, but was not adopted to kinect correctly at all. Luckily i only rented it and saved $58.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: Price $20 (used reward zone points), QB Challange, Air Hockey, Horse Shoes and more.
Cons: Navigation...need to get the hang of it.
I normally read the reviews before purchasing any video game. And if the reviews are overwhelmingly negative, I avoid the game like the plague. But in this case, I’m glad I decided to pick this title up. The only reason I wanted to get this game was for the QB challenge which received positive reviews. But as luck would have it, I found several other games that make this a decent buy. Air hockey, bean bag toss, skeeball, horse shoes, and basketball are some of the other games that work well. The only thing that is kind of frustrating is the accept/back interface where you have to keep your right/left hand waist high to interact with Kinect. But once you get the hang of it, it’s not that bad. This game is not as good as Kinect Sports but most of them aren’t. Something else that helps is having enough room to play. Like most Kinect games, you need to stand back so the Kinect sensor can track all of your movements. If you can’t stand that far back, consider mounting the Kinect sensor above the TV for increased performance. An example of this is the basketball game. The Kinect sensor needs to see your hands above your head so it knows when you are releasing the ball. I’m guessing the accept/back navigation and proper sensor placement are the reasons for the bad reviews. But this is not as bad as others are saying if given a chance.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: See my review
Cons: See my review
Is it the latest and greatest graphics of Modern Warfare? No.
Is it the kind of game I wish Microsoft would make more of? Yes.
It's a family friendly kinect game with lots of different classic games people know and enjoy. The controls are a little frustrating sometimes, but you just have to get used to it and understand the limitations of Kinect. Of all the kinect games I have so far, it may not be the one that is most technologically impressive, but it is the one that has the fun games I want to challenge family and friends to.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: Variety
Cons: Control
At first I HATED this one. I seemed unable to get to the opening menu... Controls were awful. It was not reactive. Trying to throw darts was like trying to flick a booger that was stuck to your fingers.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
Avoid at all cost. Trying to navigate the menu alone causes tension with all players! The game play is ridiculous!! Come on Best Buy, quite carrying this title!!

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: You can use the disc as a frisbee when you take a break and actually go outside
Cons: Everything
It seems they tried to pack too many different things into one game. The appeal of the other good Kinect games is that it is obvious what you are supposed to do and how to do it. With this game, I was never sure how to control the character or even what the point of some of the games was. The worst part is that the game is not very responsive to your movements, which is obviously not good for a Kinect game. We got so frustrated with just trying to get it to recognize that we were trying to select things on the menus that I put the disc back in the case and don't plan on moving it from there ever again.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: just fun easy game
Cons: it's a little glitchy once and a while
It's a good game, though it does have some glitches.. It's not quite as good as Kinect sports or adventures; but it's still a great game to play. I like the outdoor sport games.

DO NOT BUY! "Game Party" *MUST* be withdrawn from sale. This game was made by Warner Brothers (WB). They need to recall this game. Those who bought it should be reimbursed with a replacement of a new updated game that works. Please contact WB & Xbox to inform them of the issues with this game so it never happens again. They need to play it for themselves so they can see that this game should NEVER HAVE BEEN RELEASED in the first place. This is not an issue with the Xbox console or Kinect sensor - it's just this game. All the other Kinect games work fine. WB & Xbox must do something about this game. Nearly all the 1 star reviews of this game are similar to my own experience.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
I bought this game thinking it could be played online against friends. Researching it online lead me to believe you could. Unfortunately...you can't!! This really really should be an online game. Don't waste your money.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Boring games
This game is a complete waste of money. The games are boring and they don't accurately capture your motion. Even my 3 and 6 year old kids were bore after just 10 minutes. Don't buy it.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: Good for parties and gatherings.
Cons: Requires extra calibration of the kinect sensor to work properly.
Purchased at my local BB store and was really disappointed the first few times I played this game. It was very challenging to be able to successfully throw anything in the game and it just seemed like the motion tracking was delayed and out of whack. Especially compared to Kinect Adventures and Sports.
Once I accessed the kinect tuner and used the little face card that comes with Adventures to calibrate the Kinect for my room it was instantly more accurate and responsive. Seems to me as though the throwing games require a weaker throw than they do in real life, easy to adapt to though.
Not a great game for solo play, but definitely worth it to be able to have friends and family be able to do something together.
Not quite sure how this game will work for kids, but I think anybody over the age of 5 should be able to play.
It includes many games that are typically enjoyed while drinking!!
So pick it up, invite some friends over, grab your favorite beverage and enjoy.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: Party games, good multi player on some games
Cons: Low budget/quality, glitches in some games
This game isn't as horrible as other reviewers claim. Although I would probably just buy it used instead of paying full price. I really enjoy some games like double rackets, horseshoes, bean bags and the ball toss. Its fun playing with another person but you need a decent amount of room. There are some glitches in some of the other games though like football, darts and root beer toss where they didn't work very well. This game is definitely low budget and some stuff like the graphics are cheesy. Menu is easy to navigate as you just use your hands to select games. I wish I would have got kinect sports or something else but its still playable.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Lacks excitement
My wife got this game for me for christmas. A very boring game that lacks excitement. Graphics are cheesy, game selections are limited and a very long menu option. Save your money.

Game Party: In Motion - Xbox 360
Pros: nothing
Cons: Everything from poor menus to unusable motion controls
If this game was our first impression of Kinect, we would never buy it. We are OUTRAGED that we paid for this game and will try desperately to get a refund. Selling this game is a crime. Unlike the other Kinect games we have played, this game fails from the basic menu through game play. We want SO BADLY to like it, because the game titles are GREAT. Trying to get the basic menu control down is an exercise in futility and swearing for adults and misery for kids. We tried puck bowling, cup pong, and football, and the motions are at best random. We despise this game and are disappointed at Microsoft for allowing it to happen and Best Buy for carrying it and selling it at the same price as the other great titles that should make Kinect a resounding success.
