Tony Hawk: Shred Stand-Alone Software
Pros: Can't say as it didn't work.
Cons: Didn't work
Went through 2 boards and multiple batteries. Could not get consistent power in board. i.e. no blue lights so couldn't even get to calibration or play.

Cons: read my comments
Ordered this item as a birthday gift for my out of town grandson and thought everything needed to play the game was included. I was wrong and the actual board was not included. Before they were aware, the package had been opened and at that time discovered everything needed was not in the package. So he has been unable to play the game and my $50.00 plus is a bit of a waste. His parents have not been able to find the correct "skateboard" to allow the game to be useful to him and the family. Very disappointed!

Tony Hawk: Shred Stand-Alone Software
Pros: the interactive board is fun to use. tutorials. skaing and snowboarding! (wish it had surfing too...)
Cons: it can be discouraging if calibration doesn't work right away, tony hawk mini videos are irritating.
lots of reviews say it can't be calibrated, but it can. it took me patience and maybe 10 minutes of troubleshooting and i got it done. i had to move my coffee table 2 feet, put my wii and the sensor bar on the floor with the board, and turn off my living room lights. i got out of the way, and it calibrated. turning off the lights seemed to be the trick, which i found out when i googled successful calibration tips when it didn't work after 5 minutes. this game ROCKS, it is fun!! so don't let the calibration thing scare you off!

Tony Hawk: Shred Stand-Alone Software
Pros: If it worked, it would be fun to play.
Cons: Doesn't work.
Could not get board to work - could not complete first stage of calibrating - tried 3 boards (2 Wii, 1 Xbox) and moved furniture, tried different rooms, etc. Called Activision advanced support - nothing. This product just flat out would not work.

this game is better then tony hawk ride. you get more difficulties, more levels and big air, bigger tricks!, as it says on the cover. the new snowboarding feature is as amazing as skateboarding. this is a recommended buy. this also works with the tony hawk ride controller
