Dependables resources delivered the calculator on time as promised. The calculator was in good condition with batteries separated unlike a few other suppliers who had their batteries inserted in the calculator.

Although starting out with this calculator is a little slow, it has fought with me through several exams and midterms for finance, accounting, statistics, and supply chain mgmt successfully. The financial application of this calculator saves time with shortcuts or if you are uncomfortable you can find solutions via longer processes through this calculator. One thing I found invaluable is that I can write formulas into this calculator to solve statistical information that you input. If you aren't an engineer or doing major graphing functions, you can tell your ti-83 that you still have to suck it, because you are getting this calculator. You will not be disappointed in the calculator if you learn the functions you need. Many teachers do not know this calculator stores info and will let you use it when you cant use an 83. This is cheaper than bookstores and best buy and you might just wind up getting rid of every other calculator in your house.

17bII+ Financial Business Calculator
I just bought the HP 17BII calculator and work in the autofinance business. Some of my co-workers recommend this item so I thought I'd give it a try. My first impression is that a very light calculator and even though it looks more modern than the previous version, I thought the look n feel had a plastic feel to it that is not impressive (i prefered the old solid OEMs). About the menus I thing is very easy to use, the TVM and cash flow as well as the examples in the manual help the user to achieve the results they are looking for. Also I think the solver is one of the most powerful functions available and also easy to type calculator, bonds, date and currencies also very good to have. To summarize and excellent machine in a not so good package, if you can, buy the previous version (2003) has a more 'long lasting' buttons and fell to it. Enjoy!!
