This is a great product if all you have is an AGP slot. It was cheaper for me to buy a new vid card rather than buy a new MB. I love the card. Performance is better than I expected. In another year or so I'll end up going with a new MB and getting a PCI-e.

It's a little more expensive than a PCI version of an equivalent card, but this card is still probably just about the best deal as far as AGP cards go currently. I'm completely happy with the purchase - and having never installed a video card myself before, I was pleased to find that installation couldn't be easier.

I used this card to replace a BFG Nvidia 6800GT (256 meg) and while it is a little faster, it didn't allow me to run Bioshock at higher resolution than the BFG. It did seem to make quite a difference in Half Life 2, so maybe AGP just isn't good enough for Bioshock. Time to order a new Alienware!

When purchasing this card looking at the box you think its just going to blow you away with the super high resolutions that it states on the box. Well thats not necessarily true. Old games run nice and fast with just a bit of lag whenever there is to much on the screen. Now i must admit i havent gotten my dual core processing computer yet(though i will) and for the moment i'm using an Acer with a Celeron running at 2.8 Ghz with 1.5 ghz of ram, so yes this could be effecting my Frame Rates. Anyhow heres a good list of some games i've tried and had mediocre to good success with.
1. Bioshock- Smooth at 1024x786 res. (BE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR FORCEWARE DRIVERS)
2. World Of Conflict-Great at 680x480 and details on low to medium, just horrible any higher than that.
3. Oblivion-Decent with some hesitation with everything set to high on 1024x768, note higher resolutions were very choppy, possibly due to the processor.
4. Clive Barkers Jericho-(DEMO)-Good on 890x846 (strange resolution), descent

After installing this card my systems benchmarks went way up. I was able to bump up settings in Oblivion and other graphic intensive games, and have an even smoother framerate as well. Even though my CPU is only a 2.8GHz P4, my system runs the latest games with this card. Great price for a major upgrade and Overstock had the best deal on this card when I bought it. I highly recommend this card to anyone looking to upgrade their AGP video card.

don't use it for gaming... just video work, watching movies, etc.
with Vista this card responds much more quickly than my previous card (a 256MB nVidia card).
easy install and great value

This card looks good. It comes with 512MB on board memory. I upgraded from a Radeon 9600 Pro. Haven't really put the card through intensive 3D games as yet. But I know it has v3 of T/L, which the 9600 didn't have.
My only gripe is that the card was OEM - it came with a power cable and CD and the card. No box, No Manual. It would have been good if Overstock specified on their website that it was an OEM Product. That would have been nice.

The card arrived very quickly upon order. It's barebones...I got the card, a driver CD and a Y-connector cable and that was IT...but that was really everything I needed.
Plugged it in, turned it on, and it worked like a champ. Nice, fast, stable card.
I'd definitely buy it again. Perfect for my needs.

The board was a quick and easy way to make my older Sony Viao computer run Flight Sim X.The instructions should tell users that it will work on 4x system boards.

I love this video card. I feel I have gotten a great deal with this product. I didn't have hundreds of dollars to spend on the latest and greatest, but I feel I got a great deal with this card. It fit within my budget and has turbocharged everything. I am a 3D artist and this video card has dramatically sped up my rendering speeds and it adds more detail and clarity to my work. It is fully OpenGL compliant. I can prepare highly detailed images with lots of soft shadows, lights, reflections, finely detailed textures, transparency and image-based lighting, render it at high resolutions, and it and it completes surprisingly fast. I'm basing this on my old video card which was an ATI Radeon 9600 - my Geforce GPU runs circles around it. If you're looking for a great video board, and you're on a budget I recommend this one!

I decided to buy this card to upgrade my old gaming rig (it was using a 128MB 6600GT before) and I must say it was worth it. Decent frame rates in games like F.E.A.R, Serious Sam 2 etc. Good buy if you are not on P.C.I Express user.
Pros-
1) Reasonable price
2) Fast enough to run newish games at 1024x768
3) Good accessories in the pack, (cables DVI converter etc)
Cons-
1) AGP is a dead horse (not biggie if you don't need the latest stuff)
2) May need more power than your power supply can handle
3) Not for the newbie, driver update is needed as CD doesn't come with the latest drivers.
