Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Cool looking, fairly easy setup for a network novice
Cons: No XBOX Live gaming
Despite being touted on Microsofts own website as XBOX Live compatible, I've had issues with strict NAT settings using this router. Strict NAT settings cause you to be unable to connect to other gamers to chat or play games. I've spent the last two days trying every proposed solution I can find. I know for sure its the router because if I connect directly to my modem I have no issues. My friend that has the same internet service provider and a different modem has no issues.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: inexpensive, easy to set up.
Cons: ?
It was very easy to set-up, literally just plug and play. Had originally purchased a Netgear dual-band router but it was worthless, this one worked flawlessly.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Easy installation, low profile, great value
Cons: haven't found a not-so-great aspect yet
I bought this router after talking to one of our IT directors at work, it's the same router he's using at home and he had nothing but good things to say about it. I had looked at some higher priced models, and was surprised that this was the one he recommended. But it was delivered in just a few days, installation was a breeze (about 20 minutes to get the wiring in place and connect the desktop PC, the laptop, playstation 3, and iPhone), and signal strength is 100% all over my house. The security setting were built in, so I didn't have to fuss with making sure my network is secure. And I'm really excited about the option of a quick, easy guest log in for when my tech-obsessed nieces come to stay. Overall, I couldn't be happier!

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Cons: does not enable wirless conection
used enclosed disc start up - didn't work
on line chat, sent instructions to set up, tried several times to no avail
I will call again tomorrow when I have the time to spend in setting this up. Originally I had VERIZon with Liknskey router that worked well. I switched to Time Warner cable-triple play. TW tecnician informed be that i needed new router & assisted me in my purchase on-line with Best Buy. Router to this day does not enable me to work wirless. Needless to say, I'm very upset over this experience since I also have a laptop from work that needs the working router. HELP!!!!

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Cost is competitive, not cheap.
Cons: No manual and limited documentation.
The router set up with a "little" work. The plug and play was not as easy as my last one, and the manuals are available ONLINE!!!! Well if my wireless router is not working I may not be ONLINE!!!

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: It's Cisco. Their equipment can't be beat.
This piece of.hardware is terrific for the home where only 1 machine is connecting by Ethernet. If there are 2 or 3 machines connecting, get the upgraded one with the switch. Make sure you use the Cisco Connect software to disable the guest acct. If you go in via IP you cannot do a number of things. The software is a pain in the butt until you use it a few times, but when you get it right it works well. The downside of the software, is that it will only run on the machine you set it up on originally. You cannot run it on more then 1 machine on the network. Overall it is a very solid piece of hardware.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Does what it's suppose to without any hassles.
I bought this router to hook up my blu-ray player so I could receive streaming video from Netflix. It was easy to set up and worked right the first time. I rated it fair for value for price because there was nothing else to compare it to. Since installing it I have had no problems. I would recommend it to anyone who needs one.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: set up and price
Good router, though I have never had one before, it works well for me and it is a great way to go than having a cable company putting one in, it is easy and no monthly fee for one.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Cons: It just stopped working
I bought this product in April this year and after five months of use, it just stopped working.
I went to best buy to ask for a replacement or to check it, and they said that I need to call directly CISCO.
I called CISCO and as the 90 days of free technical support expired they asked me to pay US$ 39.99 for technical support, which is almost the price of the router. In a nutshell, I need to buy a new router.
Don't buy this product.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Easy to install, great coverage
We purchased this router for my mother in law in Utah. Placed the order online in Texas. My wife visiting her mother in Utah picked it up at the store in Murry and installed that afternoon. Everything went like clockwork. Now she has WiFi that covers her home.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Ease of setup and signal power
Cons: Nothing. It's all good.
Resonably priced. No issues setting up network and getting all devices to find the network. Streaming is great and wireless signal is stronger than previous router. Would highly recommend.

Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router
Pros: Very easy to install
I don't even understand some of the customer reviews of routers, so was really concerned. This router Installed easily--even though my computer isn't wireless ready. Installed and connected to the internet with no difficulty in about 5 minutes and secured with a password automatically. I have a cable connection to the internet and didn't need this for my computer, but did need it for my Nook and iPod to work from home (both work effortlessly out in the world!). I'd recommend this to any other non-geeks who are slightly afraid to go wireless. It probably doesn't have all the bells and whistles that those reviews I don't understand talk about, but hey--it works.
