Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: small
Cons: directions
Extremely hard to deal with! the directions are very hard to understand, and it is not an easy piece of equipment. By the grace of God, we finally got it to work correctly and we don't know how that happened. Now I can wake up in the morning to music and then set it to wake me at night. Just not easy. the good think about it is small and easy to read at night.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
I don't mind spending $50 for a Sony product but you would think that someone at Sony would have put this through its paces before selling. The display has 2 brightness levels or no illumination. The least bright is so bright that at night you can't make out the numbers until your eyes adjust. Also, it is too bright if you like a dark room to sleep in.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: The temperature sensor is nice to have as well as the nature sounds.
Cons: The backlight display is too bright even on the lowest setting.
We got this clock as a gift and were happy with the automatic time setting, nature sounds, and the temperature sensor. After one night of use we were disappointed with the backlighted display. It was too bright even on the lowest setting. The blue overpowered the digital display and it was very hard to see without getting closer to the clock. Also the volume of the clock on the loud setting wasn't very loud compared to other clocks we have had in the past. For what we found out about the cost of this clock we were glad it was a gift and felt sorry for our friend buying it for us.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Updates time automatically, soothing ocean sounds help sleep
Cons: Volume too low for "sound machine"
I bought this specifically because I wanted something to make noises at night to help me sleep (ocean, rain, etc) and this was the closest thing to that on the shelf at my local Best Buy. The clock does what I needed, however the volume is very low. The only noise that I can hear over my floor fan is the ocean waves noise (which is the best for sleeping anyway imho). The blue tint light makes a weak, if soft-on-the-eyes nightlight and is easily turned off and on. I don't use any of the other functions so won't comment on them.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Easy To Transport
Bought clock/radio for added feature of sound effects to aid in sleep. The sounds were not relaxing and some seemed to have a background of static.

Now use a CD of nature sounds that are effective.

All other features of the clock/radio were fine.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Easy To Transport
Loved all the features such as digital tuning and memory backup, but was disappointed that I could not receive more than two AM stations. I can get AM Chicago stations with my other clock radios.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: Everything
This clock radio is a piece of junk!! We always thought Sony was a good brand, this radio is awful. It is hard to set up and once you have it set up you can't read the time. The back lighting is a light blue and the numerals are a little darker blue. Unless you are within inches of the clock it is impossible to read the time. If we had not thrown out the box this would be going back to the store. We will never get another Sony product again.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Display dimmer, Room temp display, Stylish, Two alarms
Setting the alarm has many steps, which is fine if you have to do it for the same time every day -after setting it, you don't have to do it again. But if you're taking a nap and need to reset - PITA. :)

AM antenna has a separate cord plus FM antenna/temp sensor has a cord PLUS iPod plug has a cord PLUS the electrical outlet cord...a lot of cords!

Nature sounds are fun, radio sound is okay but has only one speaker on the side.

Nice feature is that you can turn down or turn off the backlight on the display if you don't like the light level at nighttime. I turn off the display light but my daughter, who also has this clock radio, leaves it on as a night light.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Turn off lights feature
Cons: Sound is tinny
This radio is nice if you want to be able to turn off the light at night and it has many options, (multiple alarms, different background sounds, audio input, preset stations) but the sound quality is pretty tinny. Fine for a wakeup radio but not a good one for listening too all day unles you listen to talk radio.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Great sound
Cons: All is well
This is a very nice unit for those of us who prefer to use non Apple products. I'm sure it would work with those as well, but it's nice to have something of quality that works well with any MP3 player out there.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Only the size was great.
Cons: Back ground blue lighting was terrible on the eyes.
This clock radio is very hard to read because of the dark blue back ground and the radio did not work well. Over all it was very bad on the eyes especially duing the night.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Cons: Too bright!
This clock is way too bright for me to fall asleep at night. It lights up the room quite a bit. I returned it because it was just too bright. I didn't get a chance to use any of the other features so I can only review on the brightness.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Easy to set up, temperature reading, sounds
Cons: Unreadable at night
The display on this clock was too difficult to read in dim light (like in the middle of the night). We liked all the options of the dual alarms and sound, but not being able to read the time at night was a deal breaker for us - we returned this clock.

Sony ICFC707 Clock Radio
Pros: Compact, lots of features
Cons: Would not play AM radio in spot I need it.
Nice compact clock radio, but would not play AM radio in the spot I needed it. Too much static and the ariel needed to be held to get the reception. FM played great, but want AM.
