It's rather complicated to set up initially....lots of buttons! Used the strategy of "if all else fails, read the directions"! Speakers are fine and serve the purpose. It looks good - and I like that you can adjust the brightness of the display.

I like the small size and quality of sound. My only complaint is that my iPhone 3g would not fit with its case on, even though the case is pretty slimline. I had to remove the 3g adapter that comes with the clock in order to charge my iPhone.

First time in ages I've had to read the instructions for a clock step-by-step, but it was oh-so-worth-it. How nice to charge my iPhone on my nightstand and not have to fumble for it in the morning, and even better, to awaken to music of my own choosing! The display is easy to read, the iPhone fits snugly and easily into the dock, and now that I've figured out how it works, it'll be fine. I'll want to keep the instructions on hand, though, for future reference (but the fact that it's not intuitive will help keep it safe from my college-aged daughter who likes to steal everything when she comes home on the weekend). The speakers sound much better than I expected for a clock this size, too--another pleasant surprise.
