this is the best game available for the wii.... if you have a wii then this game is a must buy, whether you are a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer.

the only thing that is not too good on this game are the graphics (they´re good for the wii).... but common, this is the wii, so the graphics are no match for the Xbox 360/PS3, but that is neutralized by the funny and exciting gameplay that you get from this game.... you won´t get bothered with this game.... well worth its price, much funnier than games with better graphics from other platforms

Super Mario Galaxy has me addicted and it is amazing how much detail and variation has been put into it. It keeps my interest always and is increasingly challenging as I earn my way deeper and deeper into it. I admit that I have to cheat every once and a while and get online to see how someone else has conquered a level, but that doesn't spoil the fun ... it just keeps me going. Love it!

I have every Nintendo system from the old NES and gameboy, to the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Nintendo DS and now the Wii. I'm 29 and ever since Super Mario Bros came out on the NES I've been hooked on Mario games. That is NOT to say that I like every Mario game out there, in fact I think that some of them are pretty lousy. But Super Mario Galaxy is a must for any true Mario fan out there. Fun level: A+ What a blast! Difficulty Level: Some levels are pretty difficult, but when you compare it to Super Mario Bros on the NES (or, for that matter, Super Mario Bros: Lost Levels) it's a *relatively* easy and forgiving game. But overall, this game will test your abilities. Music: A+ I love the music! In fact I am planning on buying the soundtrack. The music is just so different from any other Mario game I've ever played. It's so inspiring!

This game has exciting action without blood and gore and I love blood and gore! The views are spectacular in some of the galaxies. This game is huge, hours upon hours of gameplay! I can't think of once where there was a dull moment playing this game, that says a lot. DIVERSE GAMEPLAY! 5 / 5

I think this was a great game. The time it took to beat this game was extrmely long. The gameplay is fun and chanllenging. The only thing I didnt like as much is the way the screen moves when you are on the galexies. I cant wait for number 2 to come out. I thought that Mario 64 could not be beaten, but they did it again. You will have fun with this game and will take countless hours to beat. This is no easy game as it does get more difficult the further you get. I do recommend this one.

This is a great Mario game. I like how it is in outer space. It takes a long time to complete. I think it is a nice new way to experience Mario. I cant wait until they come out with the second one!

When looking at the cover art on the front of the box, you may think, "This looks like a kiddie game!" However, this really isn't the case at all. Everyone I know who has tried this game has loved it, even those "cool" hardcore gamers who would normally think Mario and crew is too lame for them haha.

All the levels are unique and exciting and keep you playing as long as you can.

This is such an amazing game. It brings me back to the time of Super Mario 64 - that game, for the time, was truly revolutionary. It was the game to have for the N64. And now, years later, SMG comes out and lets me relive that time. It has revamped the entire Super Mario world, and does it outstandingly well! It's an amazing game, pure and simple. PICK IT UP!

This game is very fun to play. If you liked Super Mario 64, you'll almost definitely like this game. The controls and game physics may take a little getting used to, but it hasn't been a problem for anyone I know. Definitely recommend it.

This is a must-have game. I first rented it because I'd heard good things about it, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Within 24 hours of leaving the rental store, I was in the game store buying a copy.
This game keeps me entertained for hours. It is easy enough that a kid could do it, but still challenging enough for the adults (i.e. all the additional stars and achievements throughout the game)

THIS GAME IS THE BEST MARIO GAME EVER MADE!!!!!

Super Mario Galaxy is an overall amazing game with absolutely no notable flaws. The graphics and sound are perfect. The graphics are very shiny, and I love the starry backgrounds. The music is orchestrated, probably the greatest sounding game of all time. Gameplay makes perfect use of the Wii Remote, not overusing it or turning it into a gimmick. There are 35+ galaxies and a nice surprise for beating the game with 120 stars. The replay value is great. I've played through this game 3 times and will play it again. This is everything you ever liked about Mario and more in one amazing game. Without a doubt, this should be named game of the decade. It's the greatest game of all time. I rate this game 100/100. This game is A+, 10/10, 5-star, 100% PERFECT!!!

I just got this game and so far I love it! At first I was a little annoyed. If you have never played before, the controls definitely take some getting used to. Simply walking around in a certain direction was sometimes difficult at first, but after less than an hour or so of gameplay, I was used to the controls and now they are no problem. Though it is expensive, I think it was well worth my money. It's interesting, fun, and keeps me engaged in the game throughout. There are lots of interesting and fun challenges. You can make it however long or short of a game you want. You only have to get 60 stars to beat the game, but you can go back and get all 120 if you want to. I never get bored with this game, and would definitely recommend it!

There are some things about this game that are very much like the old Mario Games, but don't expect it to be the same. There are all kinds of fun levels–flying, swimming, speed levels, upside-down and sideways levels–and once you think you've mastered the game you're thrown for a loop. It doesn't take long to beat it, but once you've beaten the game you can actually keep on playing and play other levels. I'm not really sure how long it keeps going because I have a life. But if you don't, let us know how far it goes.

This is definitely one of the best games for the WIi. On the one hand it was a little easy, the final Bowser battle was WAY too easy (I defeated him on my second try without even having to try hard!) but I do like that you can make it harder and strive to collect all 120 stars. (At which point you unlock Luigi and you can go through the whole thing again if you like). So technically speaking, you control how long the game is: you can make it short and fight Bowser as soon as you obtain the required 60 stars, or you can make it REALLY long and go for all 120 twice. The graphics were nice, the different plants were varied, and I loved the gravity concept of being in space. The co-op mode is not that thrilling for the second player, but great for you as the first player. Overall it was a really great game and I can't wait for the next one in 2010!

This game is extremely fun. The game play, varied level design, and attention to detail, make this one of the best games available today on any system. It is also not a short game, and may pose a difficult challenge to young children. If your up for it though the game rewards you for being curious, with soo many different levels to explore.

This game is the latest entry in the great line of Mario titles in video game history. It's similar to Super Mario Sunshine (but better) and Super Mario 64, and as much fun as the best Mario games of the past. The central conceit of this game is that Mario journeys through many small "worlds" each with its own gravity. As a result, there's a lot of strange, disorienting gameplay, but it never gets frustrating and is always fun. The controls are intuitive and responsive, and the gameplay is polished to the high standard that we expect from Mario games. Although the game starts out fairly easy, some of the levels are quite challenging, even for veteran gamers. Fortunately, it's not necessary to beat every level to finish the game, so newer players will be able to enjoy this game as well, while still having challenges to tackle. The structure of the game is similar to previous Mario titles, with Mario adventuring through various worlds trying to find stars. After obtaining a certain

So much fun. I especially like how long it takes to complete. Its like the old Mario games in that regard. So many newer games can be beat in a week and then you're stuck with an expensive game you'll never play again. Its fantastic.

I was a little apprehensive of how the wiimote would work with the new Mario game. It was actually much more seamless and effortless than I thought. The stages make this game fun to play, even when you don't have hours to devote to playing. Beautiful colors and cool gravity effects.

I remember the days of seeing my brother play Mario on the Nintendo. I would wait until my brother slept to play the NES. I instantly became hooked on the game. Super Mario got me into gaming. I've played every popular one.

Now, there's Galaxy. Is it good? No. Its amazing!
Kids who grew up with Mario would love this game. The music brings a sort of nostalgia. The visuals are great and really brings the feel of the game together. You'll want to pop this game in your wii every couple of years.

This game is a must have for all Wii owners. Young and old.

This game is so much fun. I have been playing for weeks and the game just doesn't seem to end.... so many levels and beautiful graphics. I totally recommend this game to someone that wants to waste hours and hours of their life. LOL Some of the levels are pretty challenging... ensure you have that wrist strap connected or you may get frustrated and throw the remote. :)

Super Mario Galaxy is a great game! The graphics are amazing, and it has very good movie scenes. In the game, Mario has to stop Bowser from becoming the empire of the universe, which is a very good idea for an interesting story.
The game does not always use motion on the wii remote to play. You normally just shake the remote to use a sling star to take you to the next planet in the galaxy. But sometimes you have to tilt the remote to ride on a ray for ray surfing or balancing on a ball. Throughout the game you have to point at the screen to collect star bits, which you collect to find secret galaxys.
The game progressively gets much harder, trust me. But the game can't lose stars for that because if it were not hard, it wouldn't be fun. The game is creative too so how couldn't it be fun?
Super Mario Galaxy is a must buy along with any Mario game! Buy it, Buy it! You will become a Mario fanatic!!!

Super Mario Galaxy is the first video game since the Super Nintendo that I actually LOVE. Yes, the graphics and sound are impressive and the controls are spot-on, but the bottom line is that I was one of those gamers lost in the transition to 3D. 3D games were never fun to me (and I used to play video games ALL THE TIME in the 16-bit generation). It feels so good to finally have a 3D game that I am passionate about. So if you are one of those gamers yearning for yesteryear, pick up this game and remind yourself of why you loved video games all those years ago.

My 8 year old son can't get enough of this game - he wants to play it every night, and talks about it during the day. He and his dad have bonded over strategy and discussion of galaxies. My toddler daughter is often captivated by the graphics, and while it all looks too busy and confusing to me, for my son to focus on one game for more than a month now means it rates very highly in his book.

My husband did comment that while there is a two player mode, the 2nd player isn't playing a full individual person, but rather "helping" the main player. This may prove annoying to some.

You know all of those reviews that you've read that rave about the graphics and level of fun that others have found with this game? Well, believe 'em - it's all true!

Prior to this game, I could never really say that I was that crazy about the Mario games. I played many of them, but outside of the original Super Mario Kart, and the new Mario Kart for the Wii, I really didn't have any favorite Mario games. I've owned this game for all of three days, and it's right up there for me with the Mario Kart games. In fact, I think I even like this game better.

The graphics in this game are PHENOMENAL. Of all the games that I own or have played for the Wii, this one has, by far, the best graphics. I remember watching a friend play Super Smash Brothers before I bought my own Wii, and being transfixed by the graphics I saw in that game. The graphics in Super Mario Galaxy are right up there with the graphics in Super Smash Brothers, and I like this game all the better because it's not just a straight

Bought this game on a whim and it is by far my favorite game for the Wii. I've never played Mario games to any great extent, but if any of them were like this one, MAN have I missed out! The varying levels look fantastic and always keep you guessing. The different power-ups (Spring Mario, Bee Mario, Ice Mario, Fire Mario) add variety and more fun to just walking around as plain Mario. The game is sooo addictive I would find myself spending large parts of the day trying to get all of the stars and find all of the secrets of the MANY worlds. Even though the game is plenty long enough for the money you spend (especially because you can play as Luigi once you complete the game with Mario), I find myself wishing is were longer so I could keep playing new levels. No matter if you are a die hard Mario fan or a newbie, this game is a must-play!!!

Pros: Outstanding gamplay, Excellent Graphics, Challenging
Cons: Tough camera angles
I just finished this game and it was quite an experience. The first 20-30 stars went slow, but once I got some momentum it really grabbed me. The gameplay is just plain fun. Most levels play like Mario 64, but there are several moments where you get that classic 2D platform feel which is great. I had a tough time on a couple of the later challenges, but that just made the experience that much more rewarding. My only complaint is the overworld is a bit too open and small. I enjoyed exploring the castle in Mario 64 as there were parts you don't see until much later. Here you can pretty much see it all from the start. Overall it was great fun though.

It's been a long time since I've played a Mario game like this. Honestly, the last game Mario game I played that wasn't Mario Kart, Mario Party, or Super Smash Brothers was probably Super Mario 3 for NES. This game exceeded my expectations for it.

The goal of the game is generic; it's the same one that Nintendo has been following for a while it seems. Mario saves Princess Peach. However, Mario isn't known for it's plot. If you're looking for something with a great storyline, this probably isn't for you.

I admit, I was impressed by how colorful and bright everything was. I thought it would be more continous, where you beat a level and move onto the next one like in the classic version. Instead, you enter a level and collect the stars, and then leave and move on to another one that you choose. Eventually you have to enter all of the levels, but again, it's not what I thought it would be. At first I was put off, but I enjoy it now. I love how each galaxy is unique. One may be a bright sunny

I grew up on Nintendo (our first game system was the original NES) and Mario Bros so it was only fitting now that we got a Wii for our family to get the newest Super Mario Galaxy! I have had so much fun with this game and think it is the best Mario game I've played thus far!! It is a little different getting used to walking upside down and sideways, but the Wii motion makes it even more enjoyable. I think the reviews on this game speak for themselves so I won't continue to rant on...

I have to say this is one of the best mario games hands down..I went to my local best buy and they told me to pick this up! and really they could never keep this game in...its always gone. so purchased and played it. boy great graphics for the wii. the concept of this game is pretty cool hopping from world to world galaxy to galaxy has been a blast.. the storyline pop menus get to be boring clicking thru...but that is really a minor gripe...and the controls on the numchuk little hard to steer mario though really it might be because i am walking on the planets upside down so it throws me off a bit! the story is cool... and somewhat challenging! this games ranks up there for a must buy for the wii console system ...good job nintendo!

If i were trying to convince a possible wii buyer to buy one game, this would be it. not only is the game fun, but it has good graphics compared to a lot of the other games on Wii. Face it, it's Nintendo's bread and butter, a fun mario game that will keep you occupied for days, or in my case, months. The game will not force any dumb wii sensitive controls at you, you control mario mainly with the nunchuk analog stick, and you learn a few special moves along the way. Super Mario Galaxy is definitely the way to go!

One of the few Wii games everybody must own, but if you have played previous Super Mario games you shouldn't even be reading this and instead running down to your nearest Best Buy and buying it. As always Super Mario never fails but instead works on its flaws from the previous sometimes lowering other features by a little bit. The excitement was greatly approved from the previous ones, but it lost difficulty making most stars easier to get. The graphics have improved as much as they possible could on the Wii from the Gamecube Mario. This one isn't as ground-breaking as Super Mario 64 but in my opinion way better.

This product is VERY addicting! Once you start playing and get the hang of it, it's great fun!! Even us adults can have fun with this kid-appropriate Mario game. It's a great twist off the very original Mario Brothers from 1987 where you beat the levels and defeat Bowser. This game was well worth the money we spent for our 9 year old's birthday. The kids are still playing it after our 11 year old has already defeated Bowser. After you win "you can unlock Peach's world, daddy!! You have to get ALL the power stars!! It's SO Hard!" This game will never get old!

This is the perfect game to show all of the great qualities of the nintendo wii. This a perfect amount of motion, and the graphics are amazing for a wii. I love how the game is so long. I stead of a regular 9 hour game to beat its like a 72 hours. Even though there isnt a great multiplayer, it still is the best super mario game in the series.

It seems like every time Nintendo releases their first Mario game on each new console, it's a revolutionary, raving success. Super Mario Galaxy is no exception. The graphics and environments are simply breathtaking, and the gameplay is smooth and crisp. Even the game's soundtrack blows you away, with epic music that always perfectly fits the situation. The game has that classic, fantastical kind of feel that all Mario games seem to have, and no matter your age, it's a game you can really get into. The levels are among the most unique in any Mario game to date, and the length of gameplay make this a game worth buying. You'll be working on this one for quite some time, even if you're an expert gamer. This is one game worth every last penny!

I love this game. I bought it because I love Mario, but I was suprised at how far Mario had come! I get worried about buying games because I don't want anything too complex. I think that Mario Galaxy is perfect because its entertaining and a bit challengeing (Not too challenging that I give up though). I have lost hours to this game. Its worth buying!

Incredible, this is one of those Wii games I wanted to rub so badly in the face of my local "Xbox is the only system I'm gonna play" guys. Well that's all fine and good if your the jerk-ish type, but anyway. Super Mario Galaxy, for some extremely knock-me-out and slap butter on my face reason, was not the game I was looking forward to. Millions of gamers and non-gamers can testify, it should have been. Being the best Wii game to date, it's hard to write a review that will describe it's greatness....really..really hard.

Okay, let's try to take this at a slow pace. Super Mario Galaxy should be n every Wii owners library right now, sorry if that sounds thick, cruel, and tempting you to ask your mom (or grandma, hey ya never know!) for an extra 50$ of pay this week. But it holds true, with gameplay like this, it's a wonder nobody hasn't tried this mechanic before (unless you mention that dumb SA2 stage...blegh).

Okay this time I'm gonna speak your language. Flying, spinning, swimming, gravity

This review might be a bit biased as I've been playing Mario games since the 80's and love them all. My 8-year old and I recently spent a whole day playing this - it's truly an amazing Mario game. One of my favorite additions is Mario's new bee costume. The only thing not so good about this game is that there isn't really a 2-player mode. My son and I would switch back and forth, and all 2nd player can really do is point at the screen and collect stars. All in all though, this is one of the top 3 mario games of all time - buy it!

I had very high expectations from this game and so far it has exceeded them.

Graphically it's just beautiful, stunning and just plain amazing. Screenshots just don't do justice for the game.

In many ways it plays like Mario 64. And don't take that as a bad thing, what I mean is that the game feels very intuitive as to how the mechanics work which makes the learning curve nearly nonexistent.

Some of music and sound in the game are a kickback to all of the older Marios that we have all played. What is a Mario game without some Super Mario 3 music?

But the main thing for me is how fun and different it is. Even though it seems like you might have already done this or that in another game, it adds a completely different twist to it that makes it more exciting and fun then anything you have ever played.

Super Mario Galaxy has completely revolutionized the way you think of a platformer. And at this point the bar has been pushed so high it's galaxies

As a Mario game lover myself, I found I really enjoyed this game. It kept with the past integrity of the storylines and difficulty with new twists. Mario is in outerspace and needs to find Princess Peach. To do so, he works with the Lumas and their mother to gather power stars from a variety of galaxies. Each galaxy has different creatures that require different skills (which you learn from one planet to the next) to defeat. The game gives the player a lot of freedom to choose what to tackle and when once a few galaxies are completed. The game is also challenging because there are different comets that pass by planets and, if you accept, you will have to complete a planet with a higher degree of difficulty, for instance, with only one life, racing another character to a finish, or completing the planet's main task within a certain time limit.
Because you actually travel from planet to planet, the graphics take you 3-D around a relatively small mass and sometimes, you are running upside

this is the best mario game that has ever been made. even better than mario 64. the graphics are great on par if not better than mario sunshine. the length of the game is big. after you collect 60 stars you can play the final level. but the game does not end there. you can continue to try to get th rest of the stars in the game.I think there is 125 stars, total. the controls take a little getting use to because as your moving mario over the planets the controls can get reversed. but still nothing horrible, you will get use to it. and the story of the game is awesome. I beat the game, and I won't spoil it for you, but its really cool. I highly recommend this game to everybody who owns a nintendo wii. you won't be dissappointed.

Mario Galaxy is a pretty good platformer, but if you really like Mario 64 you're going to be disappointed. Every level is very linear and you don't get to explore like you used to be able to.

This is my son's favorite Wii game! It can be challenging at times, but that makes it all the more fun. He loves completing levels and "discovering" new worlds! My husband loves it just as much as my son, so it is fun for all ages.

Mario Galaxy starts off fast paced and continues that way until the very end. It has lasting appeal, a decent storyline, and an innovative twist on Mario with motion sensitive peripherals. I've enjoyed playing the game all the way through multiple times, and it is always fun to come back to whenever I get bored playing another game.

When I received this game in winter, I couldn't stop playing it. I played it in all of my free time, and I loved it. It's set up is similar to that of Super Mario Sunshine, in how that you are transported to different places to play different "episodes" to gather up shine sprites (in Galaxy, you gather stars instead). In Galaxy, you are taken to different galaxies where you are given a main task to complete. The reward for completing it is a star. The galaxies are very unique, and no one is just like the other.
Super Mario Galaxy makes good use of the Wii's motion sensing remote. It is used in a variety of ways from collecting star bits (a form of currency in the game) to doing spinning jumps.
The plot of the game is as unique as it's many galaxies. Of course, just like many of the other Mario games, Princess Peach is Kidnapped by Bowser, and you have to rescue her. You encounter a few new friends along the way, too.
Mario gets a whole new array of power-ups in this game. In

Just an awesome game with non stop challenges. I got stuck on 1 level around the 111th star, I swear it took me like 150 tries(maybe more) to get the dang star! It was really satifying when i finally got it! I love this game!

This game is really, really long. You beat 120 missions(8 awesome bosses), than you play those missions with a character that will remain nameless. The powerups are a mix of 21st century and 16 pixel. Fire flower, ice flower, play your cards right and you can fly.

WARNING: Only Buy If You Have alot of 3 things.

1. Patience
2. Time
3. Batteries

Mario games usually turn out to be great games to play and this one is no exception. It's fun and new. It gives you a whole new way to explore worlds as Mario. It gives you a fun and challenging way to fight enemies and playing with the Wii remote makes it even more fun. The only complaint which is minor is the camera angles. Sometimes it gets confusing but otherwise it is easy to overlook when you are having fun trying to defeat enemies.

I've never completed a video game 100% until I got Super Mario Galaxy. It's an AWESOME game. The levels are complex, but still keep you entertained. The levels keep getting harder so your always be entertained. The levels are creative, interesting, and complex. If you have loved Super Mario 64, then this game will be perfect for you. The only problem with the game is the camera angle. You can use the arrow pad to change the screen angle, but sometimes you get stuck with a bad angle you can't change. I haven't enjoyed a game this much ever before.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for in a Mario game. Mario64 was revolutionary, but Sunshine was just good, not great. This game definitely brings the franchise back to the top of the video game totem pole. The game mechanics and controls are incredible for a 3D sub-gravity game, and the levels are visually stunning. I also enjoyed playing through the levels with my friend, who got to participate by collecting stars, holding enemies, giving me a boost when needed, or often times giving me a boost when not needed and making me die. =) It was a lot of fun though. My only small complaint with this game is that it could have been a little more challenging. I beat the whole game (playing through both times and collecting all 121 stars both times) in two weekends. There were a few levels (especially the toy land one with the purple coins) that definitely took me some time to master, but I wish there had been more like this. Overall though, it was a ton of fun, and could see myself picking

I was skeptical when I bought this, I didn't think I would enjoy it too much. But after I started playing I was hooked. This is one of the funnest games I've played in years, and while not excrutiatingly difficult, it does have its moments when even video game vetrans will find a challenge. Great gameplay, incredible levels, and tons of fun. If you own a wii you need these game.

This is one of the games I bought with my new Wii. I was always a Super Mario fan, and I thought this would be similar. I find it really disappointing. Mario is going throughout the galaxy on tiny planets. He walks around the planet to do his tasks, and sometimes it's upside down. If you're looking for a fun Mario game, this isn't it.

By no balance, I mean the game is either extremely easy or rather frustrating most of the time, and there aren't too many in-between levels. I think the game was too overhyped, but I would probably recommend it to younger kids you cannot play a lot.

I don't consider myself good at video games, nor do I consider myself to have much patience for difficult games, but Super Mario Galaxy is really addictive. It has a nice mix of levels that are easy or fun, have tricky puzzles to figure out, or are just plain difficult with tough maneuvers to practice. It makes use of the Wiimote in several fun ways and feels very intuitive and smooth.

This is a great game and by far the best Mario since Super Mario Brothers 3 (If it's not even better than that). The controls are simple and the graphics are perfectly in tune. I have not really been a fan of Super Mario games since 3 (this excludes the Kart games), but this certainly changed my opinion. If you enjoyed the classic NES or SNES Mario or are simply looking for an entertaining Wii game, Super Mario Galaxy is certainly a game worth buying.

I remember when the Super Mario 64 came out many years ago. I thought that it was the pinnacle of Mario and that it could not get any better. I was wrong. I have not gotten any Mario games since Super Mario 64 because I had heard that none of them measured up. Super Mario Galaxy measures up and goes far beyond anything I could have imagined.

The story line is similar to Super Mario 64 with Mario finding stars in order to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser only this time Mario must travel across the universe to find her. The game is incredibly original and has what seems like an endless amount of super fun levels to play. I have been playing the game for 2 - 3 hours per day for the past couple weeks and am not even 3/4 through. I definitely recommend getting the Prima Game Guide. It just made the game a lot for fun for me because without it would have taken so much longer. With it I can actually play the game.

The game also takes full advantage of the Wii remote. You can spin, steer in

This game brings back some things that I had almost forgotten about with Mario. It actually can be hard at times, which makes you just want to play that much more. Also, there is so much extra stuff to do, kind of like in Paper Mario. I guess what I like best about it, is how it has taken me longer than one day to beat it. I beat the new Paper Mario in about 24 hours, and I'm thrilled that Mario Galaxy is taking much longer. And, I love how my brother can play as the second player and help me out a lot! One thing that does annoy me is the camera angles. I swear I die sometimes because I can't even see myself. But, then again, the game physics are so crazy that the camera angles are the best as they can be. Seriously, buy this game.

This Wii game is an awesome addition to your Wii game collection. It's great fun for the whole family. Our 4 yo loves to play this game. Have never been a real Mario fan but I have to say that the games put out by Wii have changed my mind on that.

It's great that it is so easy to use, has really wonderful graphics, and at some points in the game you can get assistance from another player (which is a HUGE help!)

Overall a great game and one not to be missed!

This game has incredible graphics for a Mario game. The gravity and twisting and turning around the galaxies is amazing and gives the game it's popularity. You also have the ability to shoot around and play levels over with different objectives just like in Super, Paper, and Mario Sunshine. All around a great game for families and grown-ups alike!

A fan of MARIO since his inception, this game is by far the BEST Mario game EVER! The controls while difficult to master, are intuitive and anyone over 8 or so will have no problem playing. Like most Wii games, as new control movements are gained, the system will explain them to you in detail and you can usually "practice" them. The game builds upon the typical Mario moves of JUMP on the nasties and move about the world collecting stuff by adding many moves and creatures we've never seen before. If you like any Mario games, you will be a fan and you WILL become addicted to SUPER MARIO GALAXY!!

The most beautiful Mario game ever made. We have all the mario games ever made and we expected this one to be predictable, but it turned out to be surprisingly challenging and still very fun.
It's too bad it is not a multiplayer game and we have to trade off and share the controller.

This game is easy enough for the kids and challenging enough for the older kids and adults, too. Only 1 person can play at a time. A 2nd remote can be used to assist the main player by catching stars, helping him jump and pinning down bad guys, so it's a great way for a young kid to play with someone older. We highly recommend this game for players of all ages.

I've been having so much fun with this game! If you liked Super Mario games, you'll love this. The 3-D aspect is a little hard to get used to, but besides that, it's just like playing the best of the older Mario games. A great new feature is how a second player can help you (by collecting star bits and helping you fight enemies) as you go.

Mario is a mad Italian who jumps around, creating the best video games in the world! Super Mario Galaxy IS the game for the Wii. THe colors are extremely vivid, creating "like high definition" feel. The only problem that I encountered was that, it's quite linear for a Mario game. It seems like a campaign with missions, not missions that you can do in free order. In here you have to do everything in order. :/

This was by far the most imaginative game that i have played. It's very deserving of the being a Mario for the new Millenium. The only negative thing i will say is that if you are looking for any sort of challenge you will not find it here, however it is still very fun, and the ease makes it accessible to all ages. Good Job Nintendo!

There's 121 stars (secret one), and then you unlock someone (I think you know who) to play as, then have to get another 121 stars!
