New Super Mario Bros.: Nintendo DS
Pros: Wonderful gameplay, great graphics
Cons: Too short, Same mini games as Mario 64 DS
I love playing this game. It reminds me of Super Mario Bros. 3 crossed with Super Mario World. The gameplay is excellent and I'm very happy Nintendo decided to go back to the 2D platform style. The graphics are all in 3D, yet shown on a 2D plane. It really offers a unique and beautiful gaming experience.

The worlds are varied and lots of fun. The star coins offer quite a bit of replay value, but I was a little disappointed that finding them doesn't result in a special ending. I think the large mario is fun, but he's a little too large for many levels. You really have to know what level to use him on. The same can be said about the micro Mario. He's a bit tricky to control but is key to many secrets. I would have liked some suits like Mario 3 had, but that can be forgiven.

Overall, this is a great addition to the Mario family and is strongly recommended to anybody who's a fan of the franchise.

I was so happy to see Mario back where he belonged, in side scroller. The new features were great, such as the super sized Mario and the micro mini Mario, and the minigames were great as well. After I beat the regular game, I mainly just kept playing the minigames, which has kept me entertained for months.

This game is almost too good--my 12 year old has played it almost every single day for as long of a time we will allow her to since she got it. She's been very pleased with it and says it is challenging without being impossible. She is not a big time "gamer", so it may not be challenging for those who are, but is still fun.

I grew up on Super Mario Bros... Super Mario Bros 2... Super Mario Bros 3... Super Mario World... Super Mario 64... and then for a while I quit playing Nintendo. It was the time of PS2 and XBox, and I have not played a Nintendo game in several years now.

I bought my youngest son a Nintendo DS not long ago - and this was one of the games I got him for it.

Unlike most nostalgic feelings - this has been a real treat to revisit this part of my childhood. My son was playing it, and asked me to get him past a certain part. I was immediately hooked and continued playing until I had beat several more levels. Since then I have been grabbing his DS at every opportunity and playing further along - and am about halfway through the game so far.

It is classic Mario - if you ever played any of the original games you'll know the score - however new music, some new moves (downward slams, wall jumping, etc.) as well as delightful moments such as getting the super big mushroom which makes Mario as

The New Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo DS is awesome. If you've played the original Mario Bros. for the NES and fell in love with it, you'll fall in love with this. Classic side scrolling action with added new moves, new enemies, great graphics... everything you'd want in a game.

If you ever played Super Mario Bros. 3 from back in the day and you liked it, then you'll love this game. It is updated with new changes and great new levels. I admit that if you can find the secrets you can beat this game in the first week, but you won't beat every level, so you can go back and play those levels that you skipped. It is a great game for those that did play the old one and for those new to it also. I highly recommend this game.

I bought this for Santa to bring to my daughter. She has not stopped playing it. In fact sometimes we "fight" over who's turn it is. It is just as fun as I remember it from when I was little, except the graphics are amazing.

The best battle going is the one between the kids and myself. This game is excellent. It is as fun to play as the original T.V. Nintendo 64 version. There have been a few reviews about the game being pretty easy. I would agree for the most part; however, there are some levels that are pretty tough. This game is great fun and I highly recommend it. 5 stars. Or 5 mushrooms!

My son just got this game as a gift from Santa, and already the entire family has had a turn playing it! This includes my 10-year old son, my 5-year-old daughter, and myself.

The classic Super Mario Bros. game is there, with the same never-tiring Mario and Luigi. The same stages are there, with the classic flagpole at the end. The mini-games are great fun, even though I believe some are repeats.

For the true Mario & Luigi fan, for the Nintendo fan, for the good-clean-fun fan--this is a well spent $35.

New Super Mario Bros.: Nintendo DS
New Super Mario Bros. is a fun-filled experience from the minute you pick it up. While some may find the initial story easy, there is much extra material to unlock. The constant hunt for better items and coins keeps you busy for a long time. Even if you do set it down, I guaruntee you'll be navigating the Mushroom Kingdom for a quick pick-up and play experience. Buy this gem as soon as possible.

New Super Mario Bros.: Nintendo DS
This verison of Super Mario Bros. is the best.
There are 3 different games you can play in this game.

Game 1- Mario Game
This is the normal Adventure mode. You can save up to 3 games on one game card. You have to beat 8 different worlds to win the game. Each world has about 2 castles or sometimes more. In each level you can run through the level and beat it in a short amount of time and still beat the game, or you can collect 3 star coins which are hidden in each level.

Game 2- Mario vs. Luigi
You can play a two player verison against some one else with a nintendo. This game is a lot of fun for everyone. You have to be the first person to get a certain amount of stars. This means you can try to steal your opponent's stars anyway you want.

The only down side of Mario vs. Luigi is that there are only 4 different levels you can play.

Game 3- Minigames
In minigames you can play up to 4 people or play alone. The games include: Action games like Whack-a-mole; Puzzle Games like picking
