EA Madden NFL - PSP
If you are thinking of getting this game, there is no real difference than Madden 10. The controls are a little better, but not worth going out and spending 50 dollars. If you already have Madden 10 then you are not really missing out. It is just another repackage and change of controls to make the game seem better, when it has not changed at all. I love Madden, but I won't give a review that I don't believe in just for loyalty.

Who claimed that the NFL would let our Psp hungry? Here comes the new hot EAsport game. NFL Madden 11 !! This game may not be as beautifull as his big sisters on Ps3 and Xbox BUT, it does is a good, realistic, fast and original NFL game. To be honest I didn't expect a so good game, with the original comments and music from Madden Ps3 and Xbox. The franchise mode rich and realistic, you feels like a REAL headcoach. The playmaker mode allows you to create a offensive and defensive playbook ENTIRELY, what do you want more? In fact the the only difference between Madden Psp and Madden Ps3 is that with Madden Psp you can beat up on the pad everywhere!!

They have taken out the on line play feature. There are now no roster updates. The new version is pretty much Madden NFL 10 lite. Madden NFL 11 has less features. If you still have your copy of Madden NFL 10 keep it, and do not waste your money on Madden NFL 11. It is a total waste of money and time. They should have discontinued the PSP version instead of putting out a very poor and inferior product. The have also have put out the same poor product for PS2. I have both the PS3 and Xbox 360, and I will not be purchasing Madden NFL 11 for them either. EA Sports can no longer be trusted.

I bought the PSP Bundle with Madden 2011 and I've been pleasantly surprised. I love having a portable edition of it, and the fact that when you shut off the PSP and then turn it back on, it resumes right where you left off in the game. There are some setbacks and bugs but it's still a lot of fun. If you're a hardcore madden player you'd probably get annoyed by them but if you're just looking for a fun football game to kill off some time this is a good choice. Bugs and features lacking include: Sometimes it has you do the coin-flip again at half time. . very strange I play with the Eagles and the announcers always refer to Kevin Kolb as "Curt Warner". . . wishful thinking maybe? They probably don't have "Kevin Kolb" loaded in the recordings. You can't challenge the play (Honestly I actually like this, I always thought it was stupid that the computer purposefully makes mistakes so you can challenge them) I've had it freeze once, not a big deal unless you're in the middle of the game No automatic instant replays, extra footage of players or coaches on the sidelines, half time report, etc etc. They basically stripped out all of the frills as far as this stuff is concerned. As far as I can tell, there's no button to throw the ball away when you're the quarterback. Surprising they'd leave this out! But overall, the gameplay is actually a lot of fun and very balanced. Running and passing aren't too easy or too hard and defense is pretty realistic on All-Pro mode. They beefed up the 1-on-1 passing defense too which is cool. They'll swat it out of the receivers hands and stuff like that. Anyway, if you're thinking about buying the Madden bundle go for it. I'd pay $20 for this game but not more than that.

I've seen the bad reviews, but being new to the Madden series I can say that this game is an absolute blast. I've been playing franchise mode and building up a dynasty is a blast. The game play is balanced too. Runs aren't too hard or too easy, passes aren't too hard or too easy, everything plays right and the graphics are good. My only complaint is the kind of confusing save game system. It's definitely the most fun I've had on a football game since the 90's. And, I might add the PSP is rockin'. The new games are really making it the best handheld ever. This and Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker can have me captivated for hours.

EA Madden NFL - PSP
I've enjoyed previous version of Madden on the PSP, but this one is complete garbage. None of the changes made this year to the console versions are in the PSP version. Worse yet, online play and roster updates have been completely removed. The game itself feels choppier to me, which I could understand if the graphics were improved, but they're not. The game still freezes occasionally, as it has in every edition of Madden on PSP. All in all, the game feels like it was put together hastily and with little interest. If you want to play Madden on the go, save $[...] or so and pick up Madden 10 instead - With roster updates and online play, it feels like an upgrade over Madden 11.

I think EA must hate the PSP. Not only are there no improvements for this year's Madden, things have been taken out of the game. There is no online game play, which means no updated rosters. EA should have dropped the price of this game for taking out the online feature. Also, this years Madden freezes up much more than last year's version. After spending a few hours on Franchise Mode, do not be surprised if the game freezes and you have to return to the PSP's main home menu. Also, the players' ratings are significantly different than those on the XBOX 360 version of the game. If you switch between the games, this can be confusing.

I love Madden, but this is pretty much the same game as the last release. Sure the rosters are updated, but I have yet to see any real difference or improvement. Still a great football game.... Looks like the PSP version didn't get any attention from EA.

Pros: it's Madden
Cons: NO Online Play
This PSP game has NO INTERNET PLAY, which means no roster updates unless you do manually. You can play PSP via PSP but cannot log into online server to play people online, please read up before playing
