Pros: Long battery life
Cons: No A/C adaptor or car charger
For the money, these portable, rechargeable speakers are pretty great. I initally bought them for a car trip with a friend who has no car stereo (seriously, no music for a 3 hour drive? no way!), but I thought they would also be great to have camping or for an outdoor party/bbq, and so I justified the cost. They worked great for the trip, and I've used them camping a couple of times, now, and the battery life is great. Used them 2 nights in a row for probably 4 hours each night, while making dinner and sitting by the fire. So far I have not ever run out of juice. On the down side, they do not come with an A/C adaptor or car charger. Luckily my A/C iPhone charger detaches from the USB cord, and I can then plug them into the iPhone charger. However, if I were taking them on a longer camping trip, charging them would be rather difficult. I've never seen a USB car charger. Will have to be on the lookout for that.... In general, though, a good buy.
