iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: Great sound and easy to use
Cons: nothing so far
I use the speakers to watch movies on my computer and the sound quality is great. Got it on sale for 39.99 and I could not be more happier with them so far.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: compact, easy to use
Cons: on off switch broke
First one I bought was great until one of the speakers on/off switches broke. Took it back and I'm going to give it another go b/c the music quality is good and they are easy to take around. Charge quick and last long.

Pros: nothing
Cons: sound quality is bad, they broke the 2nd day.
Don't waste your time with these speakers. The sound quality is poor, volume low, bass poor and they have a tinny transistor radio sound. Not to mention one of the speakers stopped working the day after I purchased them. Returned them and wouldn't bother trying anymore iHome products in the near future.

Pros: Long battery life
Cons: No A/C adaptor or car charger
For the money, these portable, rechargeable speakers are pretty great. I initally bought them for a car trip with a friend who has no car stereo (seriously, no music for a 3 hour drive? no way!), but I thought they would also be great to have camping or for an outdoor party/bbq, and so I justified the cost. They worked great for the trip, and I've used them camping a couple of times, now, and the battery life is great. Used them 2 nights in a row for probably 4 hours each night, while making dinner and sitting by the fire. So far I have not ever run out of juice. On the down side, they do not come with an A/C adaptor or car charger. Luckily my A/C iPhone charger detaches from the USB cord, and I can then plug them into the iPhone charger. However, if I were taking them on a longer camping trip, charging them would be rather difficult. I've never seen a USB car charger. Will have to be on the lookout for that.... In general, though, a good buy.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: Sound
Cons: Price and short audio cord
For a portable speaker the sound is excellent : loud and clear and that's a huge deal. I have quite a few portable speakers but the sound coming from those are weak and tiny.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: Better sound than I expected
Cons: A little pricey but great sound
I was hesitant to buy the speakers because of the price tag. But i was famiiar with the brand so I took a chance.
I was pleasantly surprise by the quality of sound you get with these speakers. Nice crisp sound , very compact speakers.
I pirchased them to take on a cruise so I could hook them up to my iPhone and listen to music on the balcony and they worked perfectly. Fit into my luggage nicely and charged up with my iPhone usb cord plug.

Pros: great sound quality
Cons: nothing so far
I love these little speakers! Easy to transport to the beach, parties, outside, park, etc. They might be small but I think the sound quality is great. I noticed that some of the reviews state the volume is not loud enough. I don't find that a problem. I am very happy with them.

Pros: Easy To Transport, Great Interface, Great Sound
I use these speakers to take with me and listen to my music or audiobooks wherever I go throughout my house or outside. I do not like to use earphones.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: it's small, and easy to transport
Cons: you have to charge it through a computer, no outlet capability
This item is exactly what I was looking for- I do spa parties at peoples homes and need to make sure I can set the perfect mood. I cannot rely on my hostess to have a sound system in the location the party is being given, so having these little portable speakers for my iTouch is perfect!

Pros: Big sound. Great design.
I cannot believe the sound these things put out. I plugged them in to my iPod and played music. I could feel the vibrations through the table they were on.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: size
Cons: sound
I bought this for nearfield listening at work and the sound from one speaker was so distorted I could not listen, even at reasonable volume. It was probably defective, but I ended up returning it and not trying another.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: Sound is excellent
Cons: Cord is a little obtrusive
Love the sound. Very nice to charge and bring with you. My only issue is the single cord that both charges and hooks up to the player. It would be nice if there were 2 seperate cords, but no biggie.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: Has amazingly rich sound, including some bass, for such little speakers. Also very stylish space age design.
Cons: Does not come with an A/C adapter. Must charge using the USB port on your PC.
I bought these for my son for his birthday and he hooked it up to his Samsung Galaxy 5.0 mp3 player/tablet. We then listened to music he recorded from his CD's and music streaming from Pandora. The sound is very rich on BOTH the low and high tones for such little speakers. You can clearly hear the cymbals of the drums and the bass beat. Also guitar and vocal sounds are very rich and crisp. We cranked up the volume and the speakers handled it very easily. There was no distortion at all! We got these on sale for $39.99 so for THAT price we definitely got more than we bargained for.

iHome Recharge Mini Speakers Black
Pros: The quality of the sound is great from such small speakers. Easy to use and inexpensive.
Cons: Doesn't come with an A/C plug...has to be chaged via USB only
Friends have commented that these speakers have excellent quality sound (including bass), coming from such small speakers. They hold a charge for a long time and are easy to use. Just wish that they came with an A/C plug. Fortunately, I have an A/C plug that attached to a USB connection (for my cell phone) and am able to now charge my speakers via a regular A/C outlet.
