Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Price, Battery, Ease of use
Cons: ISO not the best, fps
I have had this camera for just under 1 year. It has performed pretty well so far. My wife and I have our own photography business and do priamarily outdoor shoots. In the spring through early fall months, this camera works great. Once the sun starts to shift its position and gives less light through the day, this camera can get a little grainy. The lens kit that comes with the bundle package is pretty decent as well. If you are indoors with this camera, make sure you buy an external flash as the built in one is not sufficient for low light. The ISO on this camera works great when under 1600, max is 6400 but I dont reccomend being in any situation to where you would need it. Overall, for the price you cant go wrong. Great for a first DSLR. We are upgrading to a 5D mark iii very soon and plan on keeping this camera for a second shooter. Pictures come out great as long as you have enough light to keep the ISO down.

My wife has wanted to new camera as our point and shoot began to glitz. This was the chance to get a DSLR (first since our last film SLR). Saw deal of te day and scored! Great price, great camera, service was phenominal at our local BB. Absolutely no complaints.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Loaded with features, powerful, great picture quality
Cons: Learning curve, instruction manual isn't always clear for people unfamiliar with photography vocabulary
I decided to pick up this camera for some upcoming trips and I'm certainly glad I did. This camera made taking photos fun, something that I hadn't felt with my point and shoot camera for a while. This camera is loaded with features and performs fantastic under various lighting conditions. Learning which modes and settings to apply to get the best quality shot has a learning curve and involves some trial and error, but that's what I found to be fun about using it. The manual is pretty comprehensive, but can be hard to follow sometimes for those to don't speak camera.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Solid build, good price, Canon quality and reputation, easy to use
Cons: Lenses can get pricey
For those looking to jump from point and shoot to DSLRs, the T2i is the perfect interim step. Canon has decided people want a flip out LCD screen on the back since more people than ever are using DSLRs for video, so they've created the T3i to replace the T2i. But if you want a camera primarily for stills, this fills the bill just fine. I've read that it starts up more quickly than a T3i, though I can't vouch for that myself. It is easy to use, with pro features galore. Manual or automatic modes give the picture taker options depending on the situation. This is the camera that can give you that great shallow depth of field look (in other words, subject in focus, background out of focus). 18 megapixels allow you to enlarge the images without them losing their definition too quickly. For a Canon DSLR camera, this is a great value for the price.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Easy to use and simple functions.
Cons: Autofocus..
The Canon T2i is a perfect starter DSLR camera for someone that isn't very knowledgeable about photography. The functions are easy to use, explore and understand. The optional preset settings are good. Good range of shutter speed. Makes the gf jealous since she was a photography student.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: The quality of pictures
Cons: The complication
I was tired of the hit or miss quality I was getting with several point and shoot cameras over the last 8 years. I decided to step up my game and boy did I! This camera will take excellent photos in auto but once you start learning how to take them with other settings it can be phenomenal. My only gripe is the selector seems to get easily bumped by my big fingers.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Entry level DSLR which inherits most of the 7D spec.
Cons: Zero - enjoy the cost-saving!
Just go ahead and buy this great bargain here at Best Buy. I did a lot of reading before choosing this model which is now over two years old. Canon recently stopped its production. However, the T2i still keeps its respectable head above water. Sharing much of the spec of the 7D except e.g. 3.7 fps continuous shooting compared to 10 fps. HD movie recording is great for the price. Good display which is fixed. In summary, an entry level DSLR which is packed with the stuff much more expensive cameras are made of. Best Buy, in my experience, has a sales and distribution service second to none. 10/10.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Easy to setup and easy to use
Cons: Slow auto focus in video mode
This camera has been awesome! Granted I come from the point and shoot world, and this is my first real camera, but all in all it has been a great camera. It was easy to setup, it's easy to use, and I've had no issues thus far. I bought it because a family member recommended it and haven't regretted it at all.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Ease of use, picture quality, speed
Cons: As all DSLRs it is larger and heavier than a point & shoot camera.
I painstakingly researched entry level DSLRs and even purchased a couple that I returned. I settled on the T2i because I thought it offered the best value compared to the others. I thought it had superior picture quality to the the Nikon D5100 even though the D5100 had more scene modes and bells & whistles that I would probably never use. The Canon T3i was considered but didn't need the fold out LCD. I am very happy with the T2i.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Very similar to film version of EOS
Cons: Display model. Store did not include software DVD or charger
Shopped several cameras and locations.
Reviews for the EOS were all good.
Added the telephoto lens which was on special.
Like the feel, features, and quality of pictures.
Store did a poor job packaging the display model.
Product is good, sales process was poor.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Pros: Good Price, Great setup, Many features, Long battery life, Excellent picture quality
Cons: Some advanced features may be difficult for inexperienced users, nose touches screen when using viewfinder
I'm in Love with my new T2i! I've had it for just about a month now and have taken nearly 2500 pictures with it. I bought this camera to upgrade from an older Canon PowerShot that I have (and still like a lot).
The focus is super fast and right on (one of the issues I've had with different cameras in the past) , the picture quality is excellent, and the features are very well thought through and well implemented.
I do have a couple of things that could be better about this camera - The top selector knob doesn't go all the way around, so going from manual mode (what I always use) to video mode means turning the knob almost all the way around instead of being able to 'jump the gap' like you can on some models.
If you're going to be using it for video and want to shoot in 1080p you Have to have a 'class 5' card. A 'class 3' card can shoot just fine in 640 mode, but nothing higher.
Also my nose touches the screen when using the viewfinder (which is all the time for me). But I bought a couple of $3 screen protectors and haven't worried about it since putting one on.
That's really all I can think of for negative things.
All in all I absolutely love my camera and I can see myself using it for a long Long time!
Great camera, great price, great deal!
