Pros: Good Price, Great setup, Many features, Long battery life, Excellent picture quality
Cons: Some advanced features may be difficult for inexperienced users, nose touches screen when using viewfinder
I'm in Love with my new T2i! I've had it for just about a month now and have taken nearly 2500 pictures with it. I bought this camera to upgrade from an older Canon PowerShot that I have (and still like a lot).
The focus is super fast and right on (one of the issues I've had with different cameras in the past) , the picture quality is excellent, and the features are very well thought through and well implemented.
I do have a couple of things that could be better about this camera - The top selector knob doesn't go all the way around, so going from manual mode (what I always use) to video mode means turning the knob almost all the way around instead of being able to 'jump the gap' like you can on some models.
If you're going to be using it for video and want to shoot in 1080p you Have to have a 'class 5' card. A 'class 3' card can shoot just fine in 640 mode, but nothing higher.
Also my nose touches the screen when using the viewfinder (which is all the time for me). But I bought a couple of $3 screen protectors and haven't worried about it since putting one on.
That's really all I can think of for negative things.
All in all I absolutely love my camera and I can see myself using it for a long Long time!
Great camera, great price, great deal!
