I bought these about five months ago, and while I agree that the headphones were tight around the head when I first bought them, they loosened up a while ago. I found no problems with the sound - the quality was as expected. However, I've been using them for day to day to and from work portable use - and the cord is simply not built to withstand that kind of use. Recently the right speaker just gave out, and with some fiddling while connected to some music, it is evident that the cord connection to the plug is loose and faulty. As stated earlier, not replaceable. Perhaps these are good for home use, but I don't recommend them if you're using them as you travel around town.

I enjoyed the sound quality, it was clear with distinct bass, ambient sound was remarkably attenuated. Unfortunately I had to return these headphones because they simply could not fit me well. My head is a bit on the large tall side, and even with the headband fully extended the headphones sat too highly on the ears. Since these headphones are pretty tight, needless to say it was not possible for me to wear them comfortably for extended periods of time. All in all, it is a decent product with very good sound, but you will probably like it a great deal better if you have a smaller head and are okay with tight headphones.

These cans' sound is adequate. Not great, not really even remarkable. Just passable. Maybe they give you a little more bass than the standard iPod earbuds, but that's about it. On a more positive note, they do passively cancel noise, by as much as 80%, I'd say. Jet-engine roar dropped to a drone, for example. And as far as I can tell, they don't leak at all. Incidentally, if you wear a 7 3/8 ball cap, these ought to fit you pretty comfortably. Somewhat less so if you're wearing glasses. Another bad thing: Yeah, they're foldable, but they're still bulky. And they don't slide all that easily into their little drawstring travel bag. Still, the bag isn't a bad touch, reducing as it does the unwieldiness of these headphones by at least 50%. All in all, I'd imagine you could do better for $60.
