Got this bag just recently!
Durable, lots of room and my 17" wide screen laptop slides right in quite comfortably. The shock absorber feature with the straps are quite effective too.
Love this bag. I Have no regrets spending my hard-earned cash on this one.

This bag was nice right when I got it. Unfortunately a few months after using it, it began to have some issues. It no longer stands if it has a laptop in it, it just flops over. I have tried re-arranging the insides a little, but still to no luck. The overall build quality of the bag is nice, but i don't have much use for any of the other pockets. I probably should have gotten a smaller laptop, but it fits my 17" HP DV9000 very well! Overall, it is a great bag, but due to it falling over a lot I don't think it deserves a 5 star rating.

This is a very well constructed bag, but the odd design of the diagonal separation between the larger back and middle compartments, and their equal depth, really limits what you can put into the bag. If you want to carry lots of legal pads, this would be a great bag. I want one large section for all of my books, etc., and a thinner section for the computer. I exchanged this for the Maxxum (also Wenger), which is perfect for me, as well as cheaper! The Maxxum also adds an adjustable kangaroo pouch on the front which is very handy. Ah, I should also note that both of these packs have an across-the chest strap that is placed too high. I still use it because it really helps with weight distribution.

This bag is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I am not sure it would matter if a truck ran over this thing, it would remain perfect. I caught my dog chewing on it yesterday and to my surprise, the bag didn't have a single mark on it. That is just how tough it is. I am storing a 17 inch Dell Dimension 9400 in it, and it fits perfect; zippers go right around, no problems there. Furthermore about the zippers, they are great, tough, strong, and never get stuck, very smooth. Plenty of room for me to store my laptop, adapter, MX 510 mouse, Gaming Headset w/ microphone, and a Supermat 2 foot mouse pad. Yet still have room for books and notebooks etc. I like the extra pockets for cell phones and such. This backpack is also surprisingly compact. It is also very comfortable to wear, and balances the weight nicely on your back. Overall, gets a 5 from me, I just honestly have no complaints.

being new to laptops, firts, i didnt know that 17" screens were (at the time) still new and harder to get full size BACKPACKS.
I had seen the quality of the swiss gear products and fell in love. the pegasus is big enough for my notebook AND many of my books, being a college student. every thing about this backpack was well thought out. The materials are sturdy and rugged, the zippers are big and wide, and i KNOW they will not fall apart of malfunction any time soon. the straps and back are thick with comfy padding. I have recommended this bag to any one else in the market (and even those few who were not, but made the mistake in commenting on mine).
