Pros: The skill level start pretty simple, and builds up towards the end. Its very enjoyable, my kid likes it alot.
Cons: It doesn't have profiles, so the progress is for all the persons that use the app, I have two kids and this might be a problem.
The layout of the application is simple and easy to use, you see th buttons on the bottom of the screen to access the categories, then you are presented with the grade levels of the math, you cannot enter a level until you have beated the previous one. If you get a answer wrong you are presented with the right answer thsi will give you the opportunity to see why you were wrong. At the end the app grades you and give you a message of what you should do next.

Overall the experience was very good

Pros: Nice looking and easy to use interface.
Cons: Not Fully PADI Compatible
I like this app and would have scored it more highly, but have found it to be not fully compatible (unless I am doing something wrong).

An example PADO OWD exam question is "A dive to 18 metres for 40 minutes yiels what pressure group?

The correct answer from the PADI RDP tables is P - but the same calculation on iScuba Plan gives the answer of Q! I tried to contact the software developer but could find no link from his page. I am sure that there is some explanation.

Pros: It's a one-stop shop/guide for media. Manage your Netflix queue, program your TiVo DVR, buy movie tickets, watch full TV episodes.
Cons: Nothing
i.TV has it all. If you want to watch TV on your iPhone, you can do it. If you want to manage your Netflix queue, it makes it really easy. Same thing with the TiVo integration that allows you to DVR a show with just a couple of taps. It's great...and it's FREE.

Naturespace - Relax Meditate Sleep

Pros: Amazing 3D natural sound. Nice and easy to use. You will feel like you're visiting a quiet pristine spot in nature.
Cons: Haven't found one yet. This app is just great. It doesn't try to do anything more than relax you. Accomplished.
I have tried so many sound apps on my iPhone. Some are good and entertaining for sure. Most are seriously flawed because of poor quality audio, complicated design and unbelievable claims. Naturespace transcends it all with this simple app. The button for "Night at Lake Unknown" takes me straight to the most peaceful place. I've had the app for a week and Naturespace keeps surprising me with a new sound every time I launch the app. Two of the tracks have musical notes. I'm not usually a fan of that type of audio but I gave it some attention and now really love them. The care taken to create the 5 little audio gems is apparent. I've also noticed that I was playing the app too loud. The softer the better. It's the quietness that makes it real I guess. The graphics in the app are great but like they say, "close your eyes". This app is all about the sound. Great website as well.

This is a very handy tool for me as I build handrails for a living. Makes the calculations a breeze. A must have for any trim carpenter in my opinion!

Pros: Customizable breathing patterns, easy to use, nicely designed
Before I tried out this app, I had only a cursory understanding of meditation and had never even *heard* or Pranayama. I tried to meditate here and there over the years, but I never really got into it. Now I see how starting off your session with a period of mindful, deep breathing really creates the calm space needed to relax and achieve a state of meditation. The breathwork alone is rejuvenating. And I love how you can customize *everything*. The longer I've been using it, the deeper I can go with my breathwork, so it's cool that it's so modular. I also like that you can choose your own picture for the background photo. I suggest reading the instructions in full before using it - helps you get a grasp on the whole breathwork part. I highly recommend this app for anyone interested in meditation!

Fantasy Baseball Cheatsheet '09

Pros: Search players, top 300, sort by position, draft to your team or others
Cons: Maybe have a detailed stats page as an option when you click a player
I used this app last night during a fantasy baseball draft and it was really helpful. I myself don't watch much baseball so this was great for finding good players.

The app lists the top 300 players and then you can sort the players by position too. And there's some stats under each name. My favorite feature was the search, it made it so that you could find a player within seconds. Then when you find a player you either click draft to other team or draft to my team. So whenever someone's drafted, you can sort the lists by "available" to see who's left to pick from.

Then later you can just hit the my team tab and it lists out all the players you drafted.

It was definitely a lot easier to use this app than having a huge list of players and searching for one to cross out (which is what everyone around me was doing!)

Overall, I'd give this app a 5/5.

Pros: Online scores, Tribes
Cons: No in-game Music
I just started getting into this for their tribes and online top scores. This really makes the difference as you are competing with real people. I like that you can shoot for spots on the daily, weekly and all time charts. That way you aren't trying to beat impossible all time scores. The gameplay is quite enjoyable and offers a solid challenge. The scenery changes as you progress so you get a sense of accomplishment as you progress to lesser-seen levels. It's a great quick 5 minute game that's sure to keep you entertained and satisfied each time you play.

Pros: Great Graphics, Nice Track Editor
Cons: Not extremely fun
This game looks great, especially with the new scenery they added on the latest update. It's very well done and includes a challenging Championship mode that gives you a sense of accomplishment once you've unlocked some cars and tracks. That being said it's just not all that entertaining. Once you fall behind it's really tough to catch up and you usually end up falling off the track more times than you'd like. Maybe I just need to give it more time to grow on me, but it really is well done and I'm impressed with the quality of the work they've put into it.

Pros: Entertaining, Tons of Puzzles
Cons: Controls aren't always perfect
This is one of my favorite iPhone apps. They're constantly adding puzzles and I've yet to complete even a fraction of what they've got in there. The puzzles are challenging at times, but not so hard that you'll get frustrated and never pick it up again. Once you figure out the more difficult ones it's very rewarding. Definitely a must-have.

Pros: TONS of puzzles, regular updates with even MORE puzzles, very relaxing.
Cons: Sometimes the controls are a bit wonky.
I love this app! It's a great way to kill a few minutes if you're waiting in line, or sitting around. The puzzles can get tricky but don't ever really cause any annoying frustration, and there are so many of them! I think the last update I saw added 60 new puzzles! That's a great value at $.99. Sometimes it can be hard to rotate the pieces effectively, but that's not a big deal. A must own for puzzle lovers!

Pros: Large database of products, easy to use, simple layout.
Cons: No prices or estimates of prices
I admit I bought this app a little hastily when I saw the popularity of it, and I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting, but I can't help but be disappointed with the overall product. The idea is cool enough; create a shopping list that organizes all your items into aisle and area, and that's all fine and great, but what I would have really found useful is a price estimator. I determine a lot of my shopping based on how much I think I'm going to spend, it would have been SUPER helpful to have some rough idea of the price of each item. Maybe a place where you can type the ACTUAL price, and then it will show you how much you're going to spend/save! I think that would have really put this app in my top 5 favorites.

Unfortunately I find I don't use this app very often - pretty much only to type in an item when I'm afraid I'll forget it. Too bad, it could have been a lot cooler.

Pros: Addictive gameplay, balanced difficulty levels, good graphics, great sound
Cons: Hard mode is discouraging, Endless mode on easy ruins it
I was looking for a good game for my Touch and this had the best reviews in the App Store at the time. I purchased it when it was still in the first version, so no music and only a single level. Despite that it was still a great challenge and a perfect time killer. I played several times trying to reach level 100 on hard mode, but with little luck. I think I got as far as level 65, but I usually died by level 40 or 50. But this kept me going for some time.

Later when they added the sound I was really excited and had a bit of a resurgence of game time. I enjoyed the new map quite a bit more than the first, but what ruined it for me was endless mode. I unlocked this new mode on the second map and played on easy mode to level 150+. I had the game on auto-pilot. I set it down for 20-30 minutes and came back with no damage and 20 more levels passed. I really don't like that endless mode sends the same set of enemies wave after wave once you pass level 100. It just gets boring.
