This bag was part of my package deal that I got with my Canon XSi. I didn't have a choice of which bag I could get. It is a great quality bag, but it's really big. I have my SLR camera, two lenses, a BIG Canon SX10 P&S camera, extra batteries, chargers, etc. and there's still room in there!
The UV Filter was a nice added bonus & really easy to attach to the lens.

The first time I took a picture with my Canon XS, I said "I'm not liking the nose touching the LCD screen". I knew I had to find a solution. After seeing an Amazon suggestion, I knew I found it. Unfortunately, I purchased the wrong one! So here's the warning for anyone with a Canon Rebel XS: Buy the EP-EX15 Ii for the EOS Rebel Series! THere is a version for non-EOS Rebel cameras. Anyone want to buy it for $10? :) Ok, that said, I understand why some reviewers did not like this item. If installed right out of the box, the magnification does decrease. Its akin to watching your TV in 4:3 ratio and then sticking in a Letterbox framed movie (not be best analogy, but you get the idea). Thank goodness for some smart people here on Amazon reviews. I removed the two opposing lenses to retain the stock magnification through the viewfinder. Now I have the best of both worlds. Using this extended viewfinder allows me press my face against it to get better stability, which I believe

I got this bag included in a package deal with my camera, however I would highly recommend it to someone who wants to travel with or store their camera. The bag has several pockets for documentation, cables, batteries and chargers, and movable interior dividers to suit your lens and camera storage needs. I used this bag while traveling internationally and it´s very well constructed and small enough to function as a second carry-on bag which I find very useful. The included extra battery and lens filter are both excellent things to have, especially the UV filter, which protects the lens itself from dirt and scratches.

I'm a hobbyist with a Canon 20D and love macro photography. I discovered that even when using a tripod, there is camera shake when the shutter is released manually. This switch affords a perfectly still camera while snapping that macro shot. 'Very easy to use. 'Great quality. I've used mine for years now and wouldn't dare try going a day without it in my camera bag! Also, I MUST add here that Adorama is one of my favorite vendors. They are ALWAYS quick to ship and their products are of high quality.

I bought this thing a while back - it worked for a short time, then worked intermittently, now it doesn't work at all. Useless. And the price is outrageous, now that there are so many alternatives (there weren't when I bought it). Do NOT buy this thing.

I actually paid $99 for mine yesterday at Office Depot. First let me state that if you're looking for a compact bag this IS NOT the one for you. We bought a Rebel XS and also the longer zoom lens. We needed a case that could hold the camera with that zoom lens on plus have a place to store it when not using it. Holsters were out of the question due to the extra lens. Most of the bags I found (that didnt cost a fortune) wouldnt fit the bill, there was always something about them that wouldnt work...beit size, way the camera sat inside, openings, etc. I came across this Canon Rebel bag and thought I'd try it since it was named after the camera I bought. I got it home and found it VERY spacious with a really nice default layout of the dividers inside (which are removable and changeable via their velcro). After fitting the two flapped dividers in the middle for my SLR I then realized I had four other areas left. I stuck in the extra lens, perfect fit. I then stuck my Sony HD Video camera lens-up

I received this “free” with a package deal for a Canon DSLR, so for the price it was fantastic. Although the package only talks about the XS and XSi cameras this kit is fully compatible with the T1i camera as well. Overall I was pleased – it comes with a Canon extra battery and UV filter, however I find the bag to be rather large for my taste. Inside I was able to fit camera body, small lens, large lens, video camera, point-n-shoot camera, as well as all the manuals lens covers, etc and have room for more. I would rather have seen a smaller bag and either a table tripod or pocket DSLR field book of some sort, since it’s a starter kit.

I bought this eyepiece because I wear eye-glasses, and I was having a hard time getting the standard eye-piece close enough to my glasses to see everything in the viewfinder. This eye-piece extension was just what I needed, and it works perfectly for me. I could not be happier!

This came with my T1i. I don't know if it's worth $100 by itself. You definitely will need an extra battery, and having the UV filter is nice for protection purposes. The bag is just OK. Maybe because I prefer backpacks. I used some quad shox to turn it into a backpack and it works ok. I can carry the T1i body, 3 lenses, filters, cables and strap the tripod below.

Tired of not being able to see what you're aiming at when taking digital photos in bright sunlight? If so, this light weight, stick on shade is for you. The shade is attached via a sticky tape strip; sticks right around your view screen and shades out the sun glare quite effectively. Folds down easily when you want to slip the camera back in it's case. For indoor shots, when the shading isn't needed, it makes the camera just a bit bulkier, but it's easily worked around. If you take a lot of outdoor shots in daylight, this is a 'must have' item for cameras using LCDl view finders. Comes in a variety of sizes. Price decreased by almost a whole dollar since I bought it two weeks ago! I agree with all the other reviews who said that this thing is too small. I have very small hands, and I still find this thing too small. May be this thing is designed for kids.

I thought the Hoodman products are good and worth the price. I got an Opteka at a fourth the price and it is a much better product. You have to refocus the Hoodman when you change magnification and the focus barrel is very hard to turn. The Opteka holds the focus in all magnifications and the focus barrel is easy and quick to turn and is very precise. Don't waist your $$ on this, you'll be sorry you ordered it. I am !!!

Does this cap also fit the D3x. All the comments are about D3 and I don't know if the LCD viewing screens and brackets are the same for both cameras. Any advice?

I like this eyepiece! It stops my nose from hitting the camera and smudging back of the unit with make-up or facial grease. Would definitely recommend this if you're tired of wiping off the back of your camera's glass display. It does not affect any of the visual field.

I purchased this item to go with my Canon T1i and I couldn't be happier. Like many others, my nose was constantly pressed against the lcd screen and not only was it uncomfortable but it also smudged the screen. After attaching the extender to my camera and attaching the original eyepiece to the extender there is more than enough room to comfortably view my subject without having my face smashed to the lcd screen. This is a "must-have" accessory in my opinion, especially if you wear glasses.

This is NOT a Nikon BM-5, and both the picture and the "by Nikon" attribution are FALSE. This is a cheap knock-off made of inferior plastic, and the "clear" area through which you view the LCD is warped and distorts the image. It does clip onto the my D70s, and I suppose it might be alright in a pinch if you bought it for two bucks on eBay, but if I had known this was not a real Nikon BM-5, there's no freaking way I would have paid ten bucks for this. This will be returns for refund as soon as possible, because the item delivered was not the one described.

The first and only time I have ordered something from your company, you sent me the wrong item. Instead of sending me a 'Canon USB Cable IFC 400PCU' for my Canon Camera, you sent me a generic usb without the cylindrical filter/buffer that should be attached to the cord and which is shown in the picture for the item I purchased. I would say that I was displeased with my purchase and most likely will not buy anything from you again. Thank you very much and have a Wonderful Holiday season.

This cable does not work. The connector end for USB ports is too sloppy and does not provide a tight connection. It doesn't work on the computer or on the Kodak charger unit. Waste of money and my daughter still can't use her camera.

The optics require very accurate centering of your eye in the eye piece making it unusable for quick shots. The other problem is that changing to the 2.5X setting requires refocusing the eye piece. In my case it requires turning a stiff eye piece to nearly it's limit. I'm using it with a Canon Rebel XTi. My previous experience with a Hoodman LCD viewer was very good. I expected more from this item.

I purchased this bag when I purchased my camera and had no idea how big this bag was! It's about twice the size I need! It's almost embarrassing to carry around with my camera and two lenses. It's inconvenient because of the size and I will most likely purchase a bag half the size. I do not recommend this to anyone new to photography with only 1-2 lenses. This bag holds a lot and is quite a bit to lug around.
