Intec WII-G5617 Wireless Dance Mat - Nintendo Wii
It's a good mat, much better than the wired one that comes with the game. Sadly, the wireless timing just doesn't work. There's a lag: when you hit the mat, it takes the system a microsecond longer to register with the Wii than if using a wired mat. With non-timing games that wouldn't be a big deal, but with DDR, it makes all the difference. You also can't adjust yourself to it, because the hands still work perfectly with the beat (if you are good enough to sync your hands perfectly and your feet a tenth of second slower, you're better than me). And of course, that tenth of a second is the difference between a perfect and an ok. It's very demoralizing! So, yeah. It would be great to have a wireless mat. This just doesn't work. I'm returning mine.

Nyko Technologies 87035 Nintendo Wii Frontman Wireless Controller
As a huge fan of Guitar Hero 3, I bought the Nyko Frontman with eager anticipation that this guitar would be an equivalent, second controller for the GH3 game. Unfortunately, after using the Frontman controller, I greatly prefer the original Activision Les Paul controller that came with GH3.

First the good things: the Frontman controller does seem to be well constructed. The buttons all seem to be of high quality, and the design looks pretty cool. The whammy bar is also much more solid than on the GH3 Les Paul controller.

The main problem with this controller, however, is that the fret buttons are quite stiff. There is definite resistance in pushing these buttons down, and this resistance makes it fairly tough to play difficult solos in Expert mode. The fret buttons are also rounded and recessed, which again make them difficult to press quickly (the roundness also makes them difficult to hold for long periods of time). I became quite frustrated using the Nyko controller with tough GH3

NAKI 98101 Nintendo Wii Dance Pad Revolution
It works but I have a few issues with it. It slides around and I have to reposition it between every song which is a pain. Also, it sticks to bare feet though wearing socks is better in my opinion anyway. I've had it for a couple months now and it still doesn't completely lay flat. The sides stick up a little off the floor. Hopefully that will stop with time. Lastly, it has an awful smell that has only diminished a little since I first opened the box. I don't keep it in the box so it has plenty of time to air out but so far, it's held on to much of that chemical, plastic-y odor.

Otherwise, the controls seem to work fine. It has the same pressure sensitivity as the original pad that comes with the game (DDR: Hottest Party). The cord is the same length, the graphics on the pad are clear. The bottom of the pad is soft. Compared to my original dance mat though, it's just not as good.

MTV Games Rock Band Wireless Guitar for Nintendo Wii
This compliment to the Rock Band bundled edition is a must buy, especially if you want to enjoy four person band play, or have three people who all dislike being a lead singer. So far, I have no complaints abou the game play with this guitar.

This is the same guitar that comes inside the bundled version of Rock Band.

Nyko Kama Wireless Nunchuck for Nintendo Wii
I really wanted to like the Kama. I primarily bought it to play the boxing minigame in Wii Fit. The first time I tried it with Wii Fit it was slow and sluggish. The hits seemed to be a fraction of a second behind half the time. Often time the delay was the difference between a perfect hit and a hit, sometimes it was so bad the hit didn't register. I love the concept of a true wireless nunchuck adapter, and the feel and weight of this product felt great to me. But, I can't give anything more than 1 star to a product which simply fails to perform it only function no matter how good it looks or feels. I can't recommend this product at $15 let alone at $35. Wait for the next version or an official product from Nintendo.

Nintendo Classic Controller for Nintendo Wii
I bought this so-called "classic" controller because I wanted another controller for Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I hate the stupid poorly designed Gamecube controllers, with the L and R buttons that have to be pressed down two inches to have an effect. So I go to the local big box store and pick up a so-called "classic" controller. I open it, and the thing does not plug into the console. It plugs into the Wiimote! So I've paid $20 for no extra controller. And I can't take it back because it's been opened. And the packaging says nothing about plugging it into the Wiimote. The idea that there should three or four separate control schemes for a single console is ridiculous. There was a time when one whole controller came in a box, and all the peritent details about said controller came on the outside of the box.

The fact is that the only reason to get this is to play VC games. No virtual console, dont get this stupid thing. Getting the stupid GameCube controller will at least give

Nyko Kama Wireless Nunchuck for Nintendo Wii
Since the Nintendo Wii came out many gamers have anxiiously been awaiting new ways of playing their favorite games, without the cord from the original Wii Nunchuck. For Nyko, the third-party company they did try to come up with that solution with their wireless Kama Nunchuck add-on. While the concept is clever, sadly the battery dies down very easily after only a few uses. On top of that, it doesn't respond as well to top notch games like Super Mario Galaxy and Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. At around $35, it just doesn't seem to work as well out well for anyone who has the Nintendo Wii nunchuck add-on. I really suggest you stay with the one that came with the Wii, and just hope that Nintendo can make a wireless Nunchuck that works better.

Core Gamer WII-00111 SPORTS PACK for Wii SPORTS game software
It's time to bring the average rating up, because this package is worth every penny.
I have become much better at all three games, baseball, golf and tennis and although not completely realistic, they actually make the games easier and more fun!

The tennis racket is easily the best.
The golf club is second, and I would rate the baseball bat third best.

They are all very good, but this is how I would rate each if I had to. You can easily get this package for $20, and it's definitely worth it.

Thrustmaster 4660285 T Wireless Gamepad for Nintendo Wii
Pros
-Very very good functionality: it works as a wireless gamecube AND vc controller, which is unprecedented, and the response time is excellent, no lagging
-button remapping
-optional rumble that is very strong
-It has a nice feel

Cons
-Everything is very tight, small, and close together: sometimes my thumb hits the left control stick when I'm using the + pad, and I have had more than one case of hitting the remap, turbo, or slow buttons while using the control stick. This is REALLY annoying, as it will result in weird things randomly happening , like a button suddenly not working, or the start screen suddenly popping on and off rapidly, etc., because you hit a button without realizing it. Just remember that if you are going to get / use this controller, you will need to be precise and pay attention when you use the buttons / sticks, if you don't want things like turbo and slow getting activated, which are really rather useless buttons anyway. The controller would be far better off without

NAKI 98101 Nintendo Wii Dance Pad Revolution
As they say in the game, (well at least when I play) - "Not bad, but you could do better." This pad is okay. It does tend to curl up at the edges and the result is the pad spins a bit when you're stepping on it. If you want a second pad this is a good choice. If your original pad is gone, this is a poor substitute.

Core Gamer WII-00111 SPORTS PACK for Wii SPORTS game software
The Wii Sports pack does not include the Wii sports game that comes with the Wii system. It is three attatchments for the wii controller. One is the golf club, one is the tennis racket, and one is the baseball bat. These three attachments make playing the game more real because your acually swinging the baseball bat or golf club. At first these attchments will be hard to put on/off, but after a few uses it becomes very easy to detach/attach them. These attachments are not neccesary for playing the game, I reccomend buying these if you have a few extra dollars. Don't pay too much, If you wait till December you can usually get them for between $11-$15.

Nyko Technologies 87035 Nintendo Wii Frontman Wireless Controller
After waiting several weeks for the unit to ship, we opened the box, hooked it up... and got nothing. The unit is defective. My son is sorely disappointed. The guitar looks a bit cheaper than the original. Buttons are smaller, but it is hard to test something that won't work (even after we made sure we had all Wii updates). We will be sending it back... will try for a replacement once and perhaps review again.

Nyko Technologies 87035 Nintendo Wii Frontman Wireless Controller
The Frontman for the Wii is an excellent choice if you want a cheaper, good second guitar for your Guitar Hero. It comes already put together. I could not see that the neck detaches (I was too busy playing instead of looking at the neck). Apparently, there are two different color choices. I received the yellow guitar with white and black pick guards. The other option is a white guitar with black and purple pick guards. There is currently no option for color choice on Amazon - what you get is what you get.
The guitar is comparable to the original, the Frontman is slightly bigger and slightly heavier. The buttons and strum bar are tight and I feel like it is better quality than the original. The strap feels like it is a bit shorter, but not a big problem. In all, I think I like it better than the original! I would suggest getting it as the second guitar for the co-op mode.

Nintendo Classic Controller for Nintendo Wii
Pros: Connects to your wiimote
Cons: I guess $20.00 is a little pricy.
If you want to play SNES or N64 Virtual Console games, a Wii Classic Controller or GameCube controller is mandatory, due to the triggers.

I bought this yesterday, because I wanted to play Super Mario World which I bought today. The controller cost me $20.00 at GameStop.

Before I bought it and took it out of the package, I thought the controller plugged into the Gamecube controller slots. To my surprise, it connects to your wiimote. So I like that it's somewhat wireless, it's a hell of a lot better than plugging it into the slots. (Which is one reason I'd want this instead of a GameCube controller.)

But the thing works as it should. It is basically the same thing as a Super Nintendo controller, but this has 2 analog sticks. You can use the left one for SNES games, but I'd rather use the arrow pad.

So overall, I like it. I guess I have to recommend buying it, as it is needed to play VC games. (Unless you have GameCube controllers, of course.)

Thrustmaster 4660285 T Wireless Gamepad for Nintendo Wii
This third party controller for Wii is an excellent alternative to the Wavebird (which is MIA from most stores by now). It is solidly built, and the wireless support is excellent. I bought two of these for the new Smash Bros game, and they work great. They even have a pretty strong rumble, though you can easily turn it off if you wish to save battery. My only complaint is that the controller is clearly designed for smaller hands, so it can be a little annoying for people with big hands (like me). However, this is a minor complaint, and everything else about this controller is fantastic, especially the price--way cheaper than a wavebird.

Thrustmaster 4660285 T Wireless Gamepad for Nintendo Wii
The product is seemingly great. There's no lag, it runs for a long time on 3 AAA batteries, and it includes the options of remapping buttons and even a rumble feature, besting the original Nintendo Wavebird itself!

However, I have had problems with this controller. On the one hand, with a less skilled gamer who doesn't know what they're doing, I've seen buttons accidentally remapped. She could move left, up, or down, but when she pressed right, she wound up doing nothing, which took me a minute to figure out. (it was remapped to another button on the controller which is not normally used for the game we were playing)

Another very minimal problem is the dongle that attaches to the Wii. It's designed well in that it isn't a big block like the Wavebird receivers are, but they're also flimsy. They are glued together cheaply and the end cap has fallen off of both of my receivers. (I own 2 of these controllers) It doesn't affect the functionality, but it gave me a peek inside, and I can tell

This product works great, and the service and delivery along with the ease of ordering made this a pleasant experience for my first order from Overstock.com, but I will be back. Thank you

Core Gamer WII-00111 SPORTS PACK for Wii SPORTS game software
I read the previous reviews AFTER I purchased the sport controller extenders and thought what a pain in the neck they are going to be based on the reviews BUT I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to put on the controllers and how much they extend the reality that you are playing. My husband and I played a "round" of golf the other morning and having the golf club extension made it seem more real.

Nintendo Nunchuk Controller for Nintendo Wii
This is an essential accessory for those who want to take full advantage of the Wii gaming system. Boxing is fun with someone you love, but it also serves as a good aerobic workout for you using this device. Other reviews have done a very good job explaining the tricks for using this, so I will just comment that you need to get at least 2 of these (buy an extra) if you get the system. Four if you are getting a full sytem.
