CTA Digital WI-6K Grand Slam 6 in 1 Sports Pack - Nintendo Wii

(I HAD to rate this in order to post; it doesn't even deserve one star in my book.) I was thrilled to find this item on Amazon.com, and at such a good price, until we opened ot on Christmas morning. The plastic is cheap, the baseball bat wouldn't thread on correctly, and I almost broke the thing trying to get it off! I was afraid to try any other attachments. There is no opening in the wheel for the laser, so it can't be used, and the hole in the wheel for the wrist-strap is too small to fit the strap through. This package is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for". On the up-side, Amazon.com is willing to refund my money, including shipping, and even provided a return shipping labal, all with NO hassle!

INFRARED LASER MAGNUM GUN FOR WII
I do not believe this product was field tested by the manufacture. As stated in the previous reviews, the laser is WAY off, and it is very difficult to remove the Wii Remote from the gun. Also, there is no place for the cord, so it is just dangling all around. I can safely say that this is the worst product I have ever owned, out of anything I have ever bought. It is the least function, cheapest, and most impossible product to use. Pardon my english grammar!

CTA Digital WI-PVSG Wii Buzz Shotgun

My wife and I thought this would be a fun addition to our other lightgun holders but wow! were we wrong! The one plus of this is that it's built like a tank, a heavy solid plastic tank. After that it pretty much dissapoints in every way. It's a pain to setup the nunchuck in the handle the way they have it configured. If you don't set up the cord just right the Z and C buttons won't work. It uses a plunger to push them. We've primarily tested it with Ghost Squad where you NEED the action button to work. So after fussing with the cord eventually got it all set. I'd hate to have to do this very often because it's a pain to do.
Ok next thing is the plastic barrel on the end of the shotgun seems to block the sensor on the Wiimote a bit so accuracy is way off and we are using a NYKO bar with fresh batteries. Ok so ditch the long barrel and now it's a sawed off with a stock. That's ok, but the Z button is way too close to the trigger. So it's tough to use, it should be up near the front of the

Thrustmaster 4660307 Nintendo Wii Glow Saber Duo Pack

The idea behind these is cool. But, the problem is, Thrustmaster didn't think this through. The sensor on the Wii remote is covered when you add the light sabers to it. So, the lightsaber lights up, but that's it. Your characters lightsaber will NOT move! The light is blocked, you'll have to take the lightsaber off to make it work! Do not buy this product for any game that requires the Wii remotes sensor light (which is basically all of them, right?).

The paper on the blades is only there to give the customer an idea of what they'll look like after you take them out of the box, unwrap them and turn them on. The paper is not meant to be kept on!
I've had these for a few weeks. I bought them for my daughter and I to use when we play the most recent Star Wars games. They look very cool. Using them makes game play feel more realistic and enjoyable. It's obviously not going to be as comfortable to hold as a wii remote is. My daughter really likes them too but she says it might take some time to get used to because they feel heavy. She's 7.

The paper covering the blades is for packaging purposes only. Once you put the batteries in and turn it on, you have a beautiful blue and red saber (blades are white when turned off). They are easy to use and make game play that much more fun. They are sturdy and have the look of a real saber hilt. I have purchased another brand of Wii sabers prior to these and they were way to fragile and broke within a couple days. Breaking them was my fault cause I hit something, but I have accidently done that with these as well, and they were just fine. I dont recommend hitting objects though, eventually they will break. These sabers are much sturdier and have a way better glow then the others. If you want a saber for your wii, then these are it.

When it comes down to the Nintendo Wii, many gamers love the way we can play our games. But, for Star Wars fanatics, they really want to feel like they are using the force on the Wii, because of the acclaim of the new Star Wars: The Clones video game. The Thrustmaster Glow Sabers for the Wii, which were designed specifically for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, bring in a excitement of gameplay on the Wii that hard core Jedi's had wanted, but there honestly here is a lot of limitations with the sabers. While the efforts of seeing them glow in the dark, make it exciting for Wii gamers, they are very clunky, and are hard to control when playing the game. While they cost around $30 for the Wii, they just don't completely feel like you are using the force with the Wii.

OK wow are these cheaply designed. The actual "color" coverings are a piece of paper taped, yes taped with 2 pieces of scotch tape onto white plastic. They are designed so poorly, as soon as we used them the color paper covering flew accross the room and the dog got it! HAHA they lasted all of 5 minutes. Dont waste your money!! What a piece of junk!

I bought these sabers along with "The Force Unleashed", thinking they would enhance my gameplay. Wrong. It may be the nicest-looking lightsaber add-on for the Wiimote, but is awkward to use. And it didn't help that I have small hands. The saber itself looks like it is build for two-handed use, but you end up wielding it single-handedly from the lower half of the hilt. Not only that, I also had to start worrying about hitting nearby objects, since I only have a small playing area. I tried it out very briefly before deciding that handling a bare Wiimote worked better...at least for me, anyway.

These Glow Sabers are well designed for the Star Wars crowd. Similar to Vader's and Obi-Wan's sabers; however, THE BLADE COLORS SHOWN IN THE AD ARE MADE FROM A SLIP ON SLEEVE OF CHEAPLY MADE PAPER. The color portion is obviously an afterthought, and not even well executed. That's too bad because the saber handles are much nicer than the competition's. Thrustmaster would do well to offer replacement blades in color (blades disconnect and are not saber specific, so this wouldn't be a huge manufacturing issue).

CTA Digital WI-6K Grand Slam 6 in 1 Sports Pack - Nintendo Wii
+ 0 likes
I purchased 2 of these back when my wife and I bought our Wii. After playing with the sports pack for a while, we got kind of tired of it. Switching the controllers in and out was annoying, and, as other reviewers have mentioned, it's impossible to set the game up with the remote in some of the equipment (like the tennis racket). We have found the game to be much more enjoyable WITHOUT the sports pack. I wouldn't bother wasting your money on this one, personally...

CTA Digital WI-6K Grand Slam 6 in 1 Sports Pack - Nintendo Wii

We purchased the Wii Grand Slam Sports Pack despite some reviewers saying you had to remove the remote to access various functions or change games, etc.

We quickly discovered that you do not need to use the infra red control with the bat, tennis racket etc. All you have to do is use the "buttons" (left, right, up, down, A, B, etc.) on the remote after it is put into the bat, racket, wheel, golf club and you can change games, players, start new game, etc. Very very cool. The Sports pack has added a whole new dimension to our gameplay. We have so much more fun now batting the ball, playing "intense" tennis matches, golfing, racing... the accessories make you feel more like you are playing the real game. Although I must agree with one reviewer who mentioned they wish the golf club was a bit longer. Considering the length of the bat and tennis racket, I don't know why they made the golf club so short, but still makes golf more fun than just using the remote (has not helped my "wicked-slice"

My husband received this sports pack for his birthday. The first thing we tried to use was the steering wheel...we had another one made by Nintendo and we wanted to play Mario Kart together.

We were sad to see that the Steering Wheel does not work -- there is no cutout for the sensor at the end of the Wii remote to communicate with the game! It completely blocks the signal from the remote! You would think they would have noticed this...The Nintendo steering wheel, however, works fantastic.

CTA Digital WI-WFT Nintendo Wii Fit Travel Bag
+ 0 likes
This is a simple Nylon bag sized to hold the Wii Balance Board (WBB). At $25, its price may still be considered reasonable to those who need to travel with WBB a lot. Unfortunately, a good number of us were forced to buy it as part of a bundle in order to qualify for the main unit, which remains in short supply. The vendors' profit margins on these cheap accessories are, of course, a lot higher, and being gouged this way is not exactly pleasant for the common consumers.

CTA Digital WI-BBB Nintendo Wii Fit Balance Board Mat
+ 0 likes
I purchased this yoga mat thinking it would be different from the one I already owned. I thought it might be thicker or have something on it to protect it from getting damaged by the balance board. I was wrong. Any yoga mat will work fine. I've tried using my balance board without a yoga mat once and it was hard. I have carpet and I was sliding all over. I think having any brand of yoga mat is essential. This yoga mat is nice. It's not thin like some cheap ones are. I would recommend this one.If you can find a nice mat for a better price, get it instead.

Adding these to the Wii made the games much more fun for us to play. We really get into the fun and are getting a nice workout in some spare time while having fun as well.

HORI UHWI-20 Nintendo Wii Fit Yoga Mat

I bought this as a gift thinking it worked with the Wii Fit. Well, it does work with it "supposedly" but doesn't do anything special other than act as a mat to lay your wii fit board on as you do Yoga.(I should've known better I suppose). Bad Decision. Wouldn't waste money on it again if I had known it was this useless. Also, it says Wii Fit on the mat in the picture - I got a green yoga mat that costs $10 after I paid $27 - don't do it!!

CTA Digital WI-BG Nintendo Wii Boxer Gloves

If you have a boxing game that requires that you push different buttons for different punches, these gloves and all the other red and black gloves aren't going to help you. You can't reach the controller to push the needed button for say, an uppercut. And, when the match is over and you want a rematch, you have to take off the gloves, pull out the remote to work the menu. Pain in the behind.
