Works great. Cables aren't too long or too short. I also purchased the fiber link for audio so I don't use the auto cables in this setup. But works great.

This Component A/V Cable is GREAT!! If you have a TV with Y, Ps, and Pr on the back of your TV or the side. If you can't find them on your TV then you have been warned.
Anyways this cable is like taking place of your Playstation 3 so you won't be needing it anymore but keep it still just in case. For me it gave me a really good image and sound too. Feels like i'm there fighting along my men.

Works great. They have great craftsmanship. Nice and smooth cables that will be hidden for the most part. Will be switching to HDMI cables when I upgrade my old tv.

Pros: - Ample length for typical hookups - Gold connectors - Thick, tangle preventive, high quality wiring and housing - Works on both PS2 and PS3 Cons: - Not compatible with all PS2s especially older versions that do not support progressive scan - Not compatible with all PS2 games - Non compatible games tend to streak purple lines on my LCD TV; forcing me to switch to the normal AV cable which sucks Overall I gave it a 4 star rating due to the non-compatibility issues. A clear disclaimer should have been displayed on the packaging. I'd still recommend it as a decent alternative to HDMI for PS3.

Get this now! Don't even think about it. Just get it if you are looking for a USB cable for the ps3. The metal part of the USB is plated with real gold. How cool is that? The cables are long enough for you to play your games at a good distance while charging.

This item ended up being very useful for me I had a 22" HDTV that only had 1 HDMI input, I wanted to connect my hd cable box and my Playstation 3 to my tv but I could not do it and I did not want to switch the cable everytime I wanted to watch tv or play video games so I found this item it works great easy to hook up and use. And it comes with a HDMI Wire with it

Product does not work as described. Xbox worked fine, but the PS3 kept saying invalid format. Then it made the Surround sound crackle. Waste of money. Had to return it. Good concept, but doesn't work as described.

I have to say I was little skeptical but after hook up it calmed my fears. I hope the device up to my HDTV and I was very impressed. It was as though I was playing my games for the first time. This is not even the HDMI cord. So I was very satified and i haven't had any problems.

I have a Sony DHG-HDD250 dvr, a Samsung BD-P2500 blu ray disc player and a Samsung HLR5667W tv which I connected with this product unsuccessfully. The tv has only one hdmi port but it connects to either the dvr or the blu ray player perfectly without the PDP HDMI Switch. But connecting them all is a complete failure, generating only pink static on the tv. Having failed to connect the lot the first time I returned the switch, exchanged it and took another PDP HDMI Switch home. It failed exactly as the first one did.

The best way to get a high quality screen from your PlayStation 3 is with a high quality HDMI cable. This single cable carries both the audio and video signal to your TV in one 9 foot long package.
HDMI stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface, and this signal is a straight, conversion-free, uncompressed signal that is as perfectly clear as possible.
This Nyko cable has 24k gold connectors, and shielding along the cable so that other cables and magnets don't have an effect on the signal. This is great for the signal - but the mesh cross lines along the length of the cable seem to make it unflexible. We have many cables here for all our systems and this is the stiffest cable out of all the ones we have.
Still, at 9 feet long, it is longer than several of our other cables and that extra length has come in quite helpful. Luckily we didn't need this segment to be TOO bendy and the cable was able to make the length work.
We already had a HDMI cable in place for our PS3 and to be honest

Short and simple: If you have a PS3 and you're using audio via digital optical input, then this is the best one for your system because it doesn't connect too loose. I used a Monster cable fiber optic cable at first, but noticed that it would wiggle out of place very easily, so I decided to purchase the actual Sony version and it fits much much better!

Go for HDMI, it says it supports 1080p so I bought it over the HDMI cable. When I went to select resolutions 1080p would not work! Only supports up to 1080i. If you want 1080p go for the HDMI, much easier to hook up and always supports 1080p if your TV does, and I have returned this and bought the sony HDMI and 1080p works fine now.

Long story short, buy it and don't think about it. Here is my story:
Just bought a ps3 and a HD TV (samsung - 32 inch - 1080p), and I was a little dissipointed. The picture was a bit better than my old flatscreen, but not as good as I had expected. I was even getting little flickers across the screen in thin lines. Someone suggested a better cable than the $16.00 HDM1 cable I was using. I Figured, OK, why not? I bought this cable and my jaw dropped at the difference. All flickering noise gone, for starters. Colors brighter, images sharper (by far) and the audio even improved. If you have a PS3 and HD TV with 1080p, I assure you this cable is worth the money. You will see an astounding improvement in both your DVD or Blue Ray discs, and of course your games as well (I have been playing Call of Duty 5, and the difference in image quality is significant). --Mykal Banta

Looks real good!! you really get a great 1080p experience with this cable. But after less than 2 months of purchase for this HDMI cable it went out on me and there's only one month of warranty with Bestbuy and 90 days with sony, but when contacting sony with the problem I kept getting different phone numbers that weren't able to help me either.

i purchased this to hook my laptop and xbox 360 upto my tv and didnt want to keep changing over the cables. it works perfectly, i keep my laptop on and when i boot up my 360 its switches straight away and when i turn it off it goes right back to my laptop. i did have worries about the item but it has done everything i needed it to do and for a gd price i would recommend this item to anyone needing another hdmi port.

Works as advertised. Using it to connect a Panasonic BlueRay player and Canon HD camcorder to an Aquos TV with a single HDMI port. Auto sense works like a charm. Price is reasonable compared to other units found on the web when you factor in the supplied captive HDMI cable and the supplied extra HDMI cable. Plus, it does not have the dismal rating of the cheaper units. The supplied HDMI cable is a bit short, and stiff like a full DVI cable. The latter may not matter, except when using it with something like a camcorder that does not stay permanently connected.

I purchased this so that I can play games and movies in my living room. I have a 57" widescreen "oldschool" projector that doesn't have an HDMI connection. I played video games and movies on this TV with the original connection, and compared it to this component AV connection, and there is a big difference. Its not 1080p, its 1080i, but what an improvement. It's worth it, especially since I got it for $5 from Amazon.

This product isnt what is pictured. It is a PS3 HDMI, but it doesnt have the red special ends or the mesh on the cable. It was just a plain black HDMI cable. It works fine between my cable box and reciever, but I wouldnt put it on my PS3 or XBOX360.

While not recommended for use with anything other than game systems, this quick switch will work with all HDMI capable components that have a full "off" setting (and not just a low-power or standby state).
It works flawlessly with my PS3 and Xbox360 and saves an extra HDMI port.
The auto sensing works fairly well, the only issue i've encountered is that it won't switch back to the active device when both have been on. For example, when I power on one device (lets say, the Xbox), it gets perfect signal. When I leave the Xbox on, and turn on the PS3 - the signal switches to the PS3 and it too works fine. When I turn off the PS3, the signal does not automatically switch back to the Xbox. You have to press the button on the switch (not easy in my setup) or turn off the Xbox and turn it back on.
It's not a deal breaker for me, since I don't often use the two together. Sometimes it might be nice to be downloading something on the PS3 and switch over to the Xbox to play
