The graphics in this game are amazing!! The commentating is awesome.... but when it comes down to gameplay, thats where the game is kinda funny..
The players move to stiff, and aren't fluent enough. I constantly have a fast break and a guy open for a long pass. As soon as I pass it to him, instead of going straight to the bucket, he goes into a triple threat stance, allowing time for the other team to get back to defend!! WTF! This happened to me over numerous occations!
To all the basketball gamers out there, Its probably just better to jump ship and hope on the "NBA2K9" bandwagon! Sorry EA :-( make the games playable, and stop worrying so much about DNA player crap!

This is a bad game, I finished the main adventure and optional adventures two days after I received the game. My first time thru the main adventure I had the 8th highest score on the Internet without even trying. The storyline is very linear and is boring. There are timed and non-timed sections but you find the animals easy. The best part is in the last adventure when you can have a .223 and you ride in a jeep shooting wolves. The first game in this series was the best.

got this game a few days ago and boy was i disappointed.i had such high expectations for this title but it just didn't deliver on any level.the graphics are very poor and the realism factor (which this game is supposed to be known for) is just terrible.it's by no means a simulator.the animals reactions are very sudden and don't seem well thought out as far as real life scenarios go and the accuracy of the firearms are not great either.the levels end far too quickly and the voice acting is very cheesy.avoid unless you are a die hard fan of the genre but even so...you have been warned !!!!!

This game is bad. I can't believe I spent 60 bucks on it. Thankfully, I was able to sell it for about half of that.
Story: The story of the game isn't half bad. It follows an immigrant named Nico through Liberty City on his quest for the "American Dream". Along with his cousin and several friends he meets along the way, he obtains his goal. Its a great idea in theory, but when put in this game, it goes downhill. Which brings me to the next part.
Gameplay: The missions are boring. They are repetitive. Drive here, kill this guy, take his stuff, drive back. That is about 85% of what you do in the missions. The other 15% is drive here, kill a lot of guys, drive back. The gun-play is spot on, however the lack of weapons is a disappointment. Like some have stated, the driving is pretty bad. Its easier once you play for a while, but starting out, it is unforgiving. The side quests are VERY horrible. "Hanging out" with friends is not my idea of a good video game. I don't want

With the lack of survival horror games on the Xbox360 on the market at the time of release, Silent Hill:Homecoming is a nice addition to the library. While it might not have the polish or hype of such games and Dead Space or Resident Evil 5 it is still a beautifully made game in its own right. If you enjoyed the previous titles you will be able to respect that despite the change in development team that the new installment stays true to the series. While the graphics could have been better, the environments are spectacular, and now include the ability to interact with them. Objects fall off of shelves when ran into, IV stands fall over and overall the entire gameworld has some sort of interactive ability. The combat system is completely redone and in my opinion better than previous installments. You play as a soldier and the combat reflects that. While it may lack the true horror of not being able to deal with the enemies at hand, the new system more than makes up for it in the difficulty

This game was good and the perfect combination the sound and graphic design. I like this game. This game has new player and new enemies. Even more special endings. This game was really fun game. I enjoyed it.

There are some games that are so anticipated that it seems like everyone can wait to experience the awesomeness of "game X". The resulting reviews will reflect this with people saying how amazing the game is and how it's a must-have for system owners. But then you get the 2 oddballs: the ones that praise a mixed-reviewed game (Force Unleashed, for its many flaws was FUN) or giving a huge game a decent score saying it's just good but not revolutionary. Silent Hill: Homecoming, the 6th in the series and the 2nd done outside of Team Silent is here and it seems like people just want to read the review and make sure it didn't suck. Well I'm happy to report that the game is actually quite a sweet surprise and aside from the inevitable gripes since no game is out-and-out perfect, it's still an enjoyable playthrough.
Story: You play as Alex Shepherd, a 22-year old soldier returning from the war. Seems he's been having nightmares involving his brother Josh and returns to his hometown of Shepherd's

Silent Hill Homecoming is a worthy addition to the scary series and still has the amazing grainy/creepy atmosphere of past games. Alex is a skilled protagonist with great combat ability and the story is actually very good. I recommend this for fans of survival horror and just those who enjoy great games.

i got this game along with 9 others for the ps3 after selling my xbox 360. after playing it for about 1 hour the first night i was like this sucks its going back to gamestop. after about 15 races i couldnt come in 1st and i bought all the upgrades for my little vw bug. so why the good score you ask ? well let me tell you- i woke up the next day and played kane and lynch and i finnished it but i had and hour before work so i put baja back in i was like ill give it another go so i started by buying a new vw unlimited and let me tell you the difference was surreal. 1st in every race on to the next class again 1st in every race whoo-hoo im starting to like it. i unhooked my ps3 and brought it to work and played baja for over 8 hours straight. it is a good game great no but good. the graphics are subpar the environments are good but background stuff like hotels and rollercoasters are bad also the cars arents so hot. the music is good and it really is like real baja the slightest bump can ruin

I downloaded the demo from the Playstation Network, and loved it so much that I went to go buy it immediately. I've been looking for a good game to play when friends are over or with my brother, so I was excited about this one. When I got to the store I read the back of the box which says it's only a one player game. WTF???
How can a company dump millions of dollars into the development of a racing game, and not think to make it a two player game? Is this the only racing game on the planet that doesn't have that option? I almost feel like te game should cost half of what other racing games cost.
Granted, there is an online multiplayer mode, but I'm still shocked that that's the only way I can play with friends.
Buy this game if you want to waste your life away alone in a room in front of your TV.

This is one fun game! The wireless buzzers are great. The format of the games are lots of fun and the characters are hilarious. There are almost 5,000 questions on the disc so you will probably go for quite a while without repeats. Also, there are already three sets of questions on the Playstation Network you can buy that contain 500 questions each.
On top of all that there is also My Quiz which allows users to make their own quizes and play them on your PS3 as well. Buzz even has online "sofa vs. sofa" so you can play against people online. Overall this game is WELL worth the money! Very fun!

I wrote a review of Madden 08 on here last year so I'd thought I'd follow it up with a review of this years edition. Or should I say Madden 2000.9?
Now before you pass this off as a Madden-bashing review let me give you my qualifications. I bought every version of Madden from the Genesis all the way to Madden 05 on the PS2 (which I happen to believe is still the best version of Madden ever made) and then Madden 08 last year on the PS3. I have been a Madden fan since the first day I could get my hands on a three button Genesis controller and threw a pass to an open receiver in the window based passing back then.
So first lets start off with some nitpicking and EA's famous saying, "If it's in the game, it's in the game."
Here is what is not in the game:
*Once again, EA bought up the ESPN license a few years ago and they have yet to implement any ESPN presentation into the game like 2KSports did so well before EA got the exclusive license. The absence of any ESPN presentation in EA's flagship

Been playing Madden football ever since it first came out 20 some years ago- long story short: Madden '09 isn't nearly as good as several previous years' versions, mainly for the following reasons.....
1- The lack of slider bars for gameplay adjustments (instead relying solely on how you "test out" on your skill level drills)is a MAJOR negative aspect to Madden '09. Mainly because of this: say you play at an all-pro level in every area but one (how about pass defense, where no matter how hard you try to improve by retesting, is still totally impossible against the CPU)- do you REALLY want to spend all your time testing, or would you rather just have the option to tweak ONE slider bar, to make pass defense a little easier? I find the %completions for the CPU (and the human controlled player, for that matter) to consistently be way too high: usually 80% of passes are completed, regardless of who the QB is, too. Bring back the slider bars!!!!!!!

...but "LEGO Batman" could have been so much more. While I am generally pleased with the graphical quality and overall presentation of the game, the gameplay is in sore need of an overhaul
But anyway, let's begin with:
THE GOOD:
1) The character diversity is impressive. I was happy to see some fanboy additions, rather than merely the main offenders, and overall, I was pleased at the number and variety of characters appearing.
2) The vehicle stages are impressive. While the main nemesis of the game (control) rears its ugly head at times, in general, the movement was fast-paced and frantic, if a little easy.
3) The graphics are nice. Crisp, colorful and clean. While it could have been better, the payoff would have been slight (these are LEGOs, after all).
4) There are a good number of extras in this game. Hidden stages, hidden characters, hidden facts, hidden upgrades - they are all here. If I had one gripe here, it's that there isn't a super-challenging mode (or at least one which I

First of all this is not going to be an in depth review. OK, I never liked any of the other armored core series. There were too many buttons to remember. However I loved this one. You can configure what each button does as well as what each thumb stick does with the key assign option. When you start the game you have 4 companies to choose from. The one you pick decides your starting NEXT(Mech). Within these 4 companies are 42 missions. When you start with your company you are presented 3 missions (after you complete the basic mission). From what I have seen sometimes when you finish a mission you lose the chance to play the other missions. Meaning you would have to go back and play through in order to beat those levels. NEXTs can be customized with paint jobs, weapons, stabilizers, etc. Basically there is a lot of customization options in here for the units. Almost everything in the game can be destroyed and the controls work really well, very fluid. AI can be very hard at

The game show characters will always make you laugh, and its a great game to bring out when you have company. I love the concept, and I love the wireless buzzers you get with it. Nice to see they didnt affect the pricing of the overall game. I certainly hope they have addon packages in the future with more questions and categories. This is a great title to have for parties, and even with the kids.

This game has too much "movie" and not enough actual play time!
It also tends to freeze up at critical points and also you have to do 3 things at once on the controller to do what is necessary.
I thought this was going to be a favorite of mine, NOT!
I was so dissapointed with this game and having to "babysit" the grunts is horrible and they wont enter inside any structures to help you by supprise ambushes hiding upstairs.
The load time is terribly slow and reminds me of the first disc games back in the day, you would think that for the price you pay for it, that it would at least be enjoyable...."brothers in arms", has left me up in arms and I give it a thumbs ...double thumbs down!

Single Player is really where BIA:HH hits its stride. The story is awesome, the environments are beautiful and this is the high water mark for strategic shooters. I had the most fun when the game gives me two squads to control. The bazooka team is my favorite. It's all about supression and flanking. I dig the feeling of pinning enemies down with my squad and sneaking up behind them for the kill. Awesome.
Multiplayer is very run n' gun. It reminds me a bit of Counterstrike.
