Having already owned the original Playgear Pocket for the "phat" PSP, when I bought my slim, I was clamoring for Logitech to make a version for the new PSP model.
Just like the original playgear pocket this case provides excellent protection for your PSP, the outside is clear dense plastic, and your PSP fits snuggly inside within a rubberized casing that covers both the top and bottom of the system. Additionally, you can use the Playgear Pocket as a viewing station for movies and such by simply flipping the top to the back, thus standing the system up.
Another cool aspect of the playgear pocket is that you can customize the cover to change up the look of your system. By removing the top inner rubber layer, you can place an image inside and then reinstall the rubber. Mind you, the image is one that you will have to find, print out and then cut to the shape of the cover, and in the package, Logitech supplies you with the template shape. I had the original Logitech case for the PSP 1000 and thought it was perfect. It provided great protection for my entire system.
Unfortunately, when I got the PSP Slim, I was out of luck. The original case was just too big and the PSP bounced around inside.
The case Sony makes looks similar to the Logitech version and is a great alternative, but is too bulky for my daily gameplay needs.
Nerf has a great case as well, but because it doesn't cover the UMD door (so you can leave the PSP in the case at all times) my PSP picked up nicks and scratches on the door.
Finally, after a long wait, Logitech brings out the best case for my needs. It covers the entire PSP, where it fits snugly and locks tight when closed. It's also slim enough for me to enjoy regular gameplay without having to remove the system, and the door holds itself in place regardless of how wide or narrow you open it up, which can be helpful when sunlight is a problem. It can also accommodate the larger extended

Many people have problem applying the filter. If you just peel off and apply the sticker directly, you will face the following 3 major problem:
1. Dust particles
2. air bubbles (or known as air pockets, caused by air or dust)
3. Sticker orientation accuracy
To solve the above problems, here is the secret and the correct steps, not limited to this PSP filter, in fact, this secret applied to all stickers application.
Do the following steps, and you will be amazed with the result.
Ingredients:
a. The screen protector filter
b. Bowl
c. hand soap, body shampoo (lotion, etc.. anything alcaline based will do)
d. water
e. plastic paper credit card sized or smaller which act as your lifter. Optional, use the front/back plastic cover for the sticker will do as well.
f. tissue paper
Step
1. Wipe the PSP screen clean
2. Fill the bowl with one or two teaspoon amount of hand soap and dilute it with half bowl of water.
3. scoop out the bubbles in the bowl as many as possible.
4. Remove both front

As a new PSP Slim owner, I was in search of a decent case for traveling which would offer suitable protection for the PSP if rolling around in my shoulder bag or luggage.
The zippered outer shell is reinforced to protect from drops or bang ups, while the interior is lined with soft felt. A middle interior flap covers the PSP which lays in snugly in the bottom portion of the case. The back side of the middle flap holds 3 memory sticks and the inner top lid portion of the case has one long pocket which can probably hold no more than 4 UMD's or (not and) earbud headphones.
A nice bonus is the included headphones and screen protector. While the headphones leave something to be desired, HORI has always made some of the best LCD protectors out there. You also get a screen cloth and gimmicky little dust wiper that attaches to the loop hook on the PSP.
PROS: Hard case protection, UMD/card storage, LCD protector
CONS: bunk headphones, no exterior port access

This is a good product that does what it is supposed to do. The price is reasonable. It is very reliable as a headset for playing games or to use with the Skype feature on your PSP2000(Slim) system. Highly recommended.

Just picked up the skype compatible headphones for PSP for a long trip to Europe. The sound quality seems very good on initial tests from my house. Only problem I have is with the headphone design. Not a big fan of the wrap around the ear and placing one of the cables behind your head to place the other ear piece on. Nice that they seem snug to the ear but not a necessary design for something where you will not be moving around a lot when talking tied to a wifi connection.
If you would like to use skype on your psp then this is the way to go for the cost but just be aware that the overall design of the headphones is just ok.

I have seen and used the grips that are availble for the original PSP and they are far superior to this one. I found this one lacking in many areas. It is completely plastic while older versions had rubber portions that made it harder to slide out of your hands. The grip is also slimmer than older versions making it less comfortable. It seems like the people who designed this grip to fit the new PSP 2000 forgot to look at older versions of this grip and use the great features offered by them. Other than these problems, the extra battery is great and truly makes the PSP last extremely long. Based on the fact that you have no other choice for the PSP 2000, I would recommend it, however, when another company decides for make the design better, I would recommend that you toss out this one and replace it with something better. For someone who has never used one of the older grips, you will think this is great. Try to avoid using the older versions or you'll be like me . . .wishing the

Not much really to say besides the fact that it works perfect. I put it in my new PSP and it worked and did not take anytime to load. I then played a game and it saved easy. I tryed to acces my computer via USB cable and it was easy to do that and find my saved data. I liked it overall.

To answer the first question on everyone's mind, yes. This newly redesigned PSP 2000 case WILL fit your PSP game console even if you have the 2200mAh battery with extended back-plate. There is designated cutout in the rubber that allows the PSP 2000 to rest perfectly in place with or without the extended battery cover.
Now the explanation for the one star rating:
The case itself looks a lot sleeker in the package and in pictures than envolped around the PSP system itself. It has a cheap plasticy feel to it complete with a second rate, floating hinge that always seems as if its on the verge of breaking loose.
Also, unlike other PSP cases I've owned, the PSP logo isn't etched or inscribed onto the case lid, even though it looks that way in pictures. The PSP trademark on top is just a thin piece of printed cardboard placed underneath the clear shell.
This case also comes complete with small rubber grips that, when opened properly, can be used to stand the case upright so you can view

Yes, I too made the same mistake as other customers buying the PSP 2000 battery charger.
In case you weren't paying attention, this latest edition of Sony's PSP battery charger comes with a cord that must be used in order to operate and charge batteries.
The whole point of the PSP 1000 battery charger was its compact design that included the outlet prongs attaching directly to the unit itself. It was a perfect travel companion but now...just a hassle.
It is actually much simpler to charge a PSP through the supplied AC adapter included with the PSP itself than it is to use this thing.
Luckily I had a generous return policy and got my money back right away.
Until Sony upgrades this product and ditches the cord...I won't go anywhere near this thing.

If you travel abroad or use skpye on a regular this is great. work flawlessly in my house. As headphones they leave a little something to be desired. The design is not great. All calls are clear just like on the computer and talking to friends they all said the call quality was good.

Not perfect, but still great.
This item is great for two reasons.
1) I do a lot of international travel (read: really long flights), and this extended battery has removed all fears of my PSP's battery not lasting the whole trip. I have yet to see how long it will actually last, but my 12 hour flight to Japan was no problem. I tried to wear the battery down the other day so that when I charger it for my next trip I wouldn't overcharge it. I left the PSP on all day and the battery never died. I was impressed. So were my co-workers. I sold two more to them.
2) The added grips completely eliminated the left thumb cramps I used to get. I would always have to pause the game for awhile and stretch my thumb after playing the PSP for awhile. With these grips, it now feels like a Dual-Shock Playstation controller. It feels like an old friend.
Three Issues:
1) The plastic is smooth and unfinished. I would have preferred a textured surface like a PS controller. You don't really realize this while

The Good:
+Allows you to play your PSP games on your television
+Very easy to connect and set up
The Bad:
-Your television must support progressive scan or else it won't work
-For some games it brings out the worst in graphics
-The cord is too short
-Twenty dollars is a bit expensive
During the days when the Super Nintendo ruled the world, Nintendo developed what was known as The Super Gameboy. It was where you stuck your gameboy games into a specially made cartridge and they played on your Super Nintendo. The Gamecube also had a variant. The Gameboy Player. These things worked really well to play handheld games on a television. Sony, taking a lesson from Nintendo, decided to do their own. The cable does exactly what it's supposed to but there are a couple of things that just make it a hassle to deal with.
It's easy to work. At the bottom of your PSP is the port, and then you plug the cables into your television. These cables do not work a standard definition television,

I noticed after buying the PSP that my fingers would cramp up after playing for a little while. To hold the unit and use the controls can quickly cramp your fingers due to the size of the PSP, if you are an adult.
I picked up this unit to help out with the finger cramps so I can play the PSP for longer times. So far it is working well. There is a little movement of the PSP in the holder but nothing that bothers me. I like having the ability to play games longer with the more comfortable feel and with the extra batter life.
Overall this a nice little adaptor for your PSP if you experience the finger cramps and would also like to extend your battery life.

This is a great accessory. It truly adds about 4 hrs. of battery life, and it will accomodate a PSP slim with a fat battery and cover. It's much more comfortable for extended use of the PSP - no more hand cramps.
My only complaint is that it doesn't lock into the extended position and the PSP does move around a little bit when it's in there. Not a huge deal, but it's easy remedied if you don't mind losing the ability to collapse the charger grip for storage. Just open it to the fully extended position and run a bead of Superglue all around the joints on both sides. When it dries, it'll be nice and firm, as if it was made NOT to collapse. Put in the PSP and it's as tight and immobile as you could ask for.
It's a simple mod that makes the unit 5 stars - and it's 4 stars out of the box. A must-have accessory.

I have to agree with the other reviewers; the large, long cord attached to this charger reduces it's usefulness for travel considerably. Sony design people, we're not charging nuclear missile batteries here! Perhaps you should visit an Apple Store to see small sleek chargers.

Definitely a good case. It's hard and sturdy. It's got two sliding buttons on the front to open each side of the case. Each side holds 4 UMDs. The slots on the inside hold the UMDs very securely so your UMDs dont go flying around. And even though there is a tight grip to hold the game, this doesnt hinder it from letting the games come out with ease. I've had DVD cases hold onto a dvd so hard that I would actually start talking to the case and saying "If you make me break this DVD, I'm going to go burn you in a fire pit!"
The only thing that might make you want to shy away from this case is that it's as big as your PSP. This doesnt bother me at all, but to some it might.
I took some pics and uploaded them for y'all so you can get a better look than the pic Amazon has.
Oh and dont let Amazons pic fool you... only one slot holds only one game. Not two. Some people might think that due to Amazons pic.

Despite what some of the other reviewers have said, this product rightfully deserves a resounding FIVE STARS. Here's why:
1. It has a very healthy 3200mAH battery capacity built-in, nearly three times as much as the standard battery (1200mAH) that comes with the PSP itself.
2. PSP Slim fitment is well designed and DOES indeed lock in place.
3. The PSP Charger Grip complements the looks of the PSP Slim and provides a much more useful "grip". It looks the best with a black PSP Slim, but still looks okay even with the ice silver (Daxter) Slim.
4. Here's the best part . . . though not intentionally designed to fit with the bulge cover from Sony's PSP Battery Kit, it still actually accommodates it and locks in place even tighter.
The latter was a nice surprise that I did not expect! So, with a 2200mAH battery installed from Sony's Battery Pack, and therefore a bulge battery cover in place, the total battery capacity becomes 5400mAH with this Nyko product in use too! That is a whooping

OK yeah, when you play games on the PSP and look at it on the TV its a smaller picture. I have a 32" LCD and I loose about 6" a side in viewing real estate ... but its still about 12x bigger than the PSP screen itself and let me tell you its worth it. You can actually see what you're doing, and when I'm playing God of War: Chains of Olympus I want to see what is going on. Video and pictures don't loose that kind of viewing real estate. I noticed about an inch around viewing a video UMD and I suspect the same to be true for pictures although I currently don't have any jpeg files on my Memory Sticks to look at. I would say all in all its well worth the price ... currently under $20.00 and it will increase your gaming / viewing pleasure of the PSP. My one complaint and the reason for 3 stars instead of 4 stars (which for me is a good review, I rarely give 5 stars) and this is my caveat emptor for this product as well. The videogame output will only work on these cables if you have a progressive

I was upset over this...
A) You cannot plug this right into the wall, you need to attach a cable to plug it in.
B) I managed to find this cheaper by 5.00 at my local EB. Which is usually not the case. I love amazon, and was shocked to see that.
It does it's job, but I just feel robbed.
