Left 4 Dead: Xbox 360
For story mode..1 player..i enjoyed the game..over all its a great zombie game...BUT..i do have a few negatives....first thing that stands out is the last boards, it seems like valve had 1 idea for the final of every chapter...hold the fort while tons of zombies attack while you wait 10 to 15 minutes to be saved by someone..that got alittle boring by the third time around. The pipe bombs and malatov cocktails i pretty much never used,it always seemed like the only time you need to use it would be when the hulk zombie (tank) comes running at you.3rd would be the short boards..they seemed so short...15 to 20 mintues..you can beat the game in a few hours...although the replay value is high...i still felt like i was getting jipped..i know the games they make these days are for on and offline play..i thought the single player lacked a bit...the game is fun and i couldnt stop playing...but there seems to be something missing..no cut scenes..no great occurences that happened that i will take with

The Last Remnant: Xbox 360
Yikes! A great game, but horribly marred by huge slowdowns thoughout every battle sequence.

It feels like SquEnix didn't even try to optimize this game for the 360. I installed this game to the HD right away, but sadly, things didn't get noticably better.

Wait for the PS3 version... I'd say this is worth $20 tops or a rent to see some mega-slowdown and texture pop in action. This thing plays, looks, and feels rushed, like some bad leaked beta.

Mirror's Edge: Xbox 360
This is one of those rare games which manages to create a strong sense of amazement and utter frustration simultaneously.

The game is vivid, exhilarating, and identifiably unique. Yes, there have been many platforming games, yet none are portrayed in a first person perspective. The controls are simple and responsive and when you manage to pull of a chain of impressive maneuvers, you're sense of satisfaction and enjoyment will be unparalleled. Playing a game from an established perspective in a new way is flat-out awesome. Some of the greatest moments are when you manage to evade groups of heavily armed cops by the skin on your neck, never once having to actually engage in real combat.

Graphically, the game is vibrant and bright, the antithesis of of the brown, desaturated, and dark games that seem to dominate the market. Framerate manages to stay playable throughout, and effects like motion blur and depth of field create the illusion of speed.

Unfortunately, the game often fails

Sonic Unleashed: Xbox 360
The game is worth every penny.

Graphically it is mind blowing. The gameplay is awesome for the Sonic levels and surprisingly good for the werehog. The replay value is enormous and the quality of the game overall is through the roof : great soundtrack and CG etc ...

If you love Sonic or not, this is the game you must buy.

Shaun White Snowboarding: Xbox 360
The game play in Shaun White snowboarding is excellent. Definately the best snowboarding game created up to this point. The game is loads of fun. There are 4 different large mountains with a ton of challenges for solo and multiplayer play. There is also a huge selection of gear boards, bindings, jackets, hats, etc.. You can take the chair lift or jump out of the helicopter. You can do pretty much all the tricks in the real world in this game, including flatland tricks. The realism is unprecedented and extremely enjoyable at the same time. The game even has avalanches that you can outrun or be swallowed up by.

If you want to take a break from doing tricks the game even has races for Single player and multiple players..

All in all this a great game, i recommend it for any one that enjoys snowboarding or skateboarding games, or for people looking for a new kind of gaming experience..

Gears of War 2: Xbox 360
I'll go ahead and say it now -- I wasn't a huge fan of the original Gears of War, and I'm not a huge fan of this one.

Graphics-wise, this game is pretty good, although the washed-out color schemes get old after a while. Don't expect much to have changed aside from the slight graphics improvements and a couple new weapons.

The weapon design, character design, level design, etc. is too generic. 'Variety' in the guns is limited, bullets move about as fast as cars (instead of bullets), grenades blow up with the force of an M-80, and your aiming reticule wobbles around, annoyingly resistant to actually targeting what you want to target.

I've played the Halo games all on maximum sensitivity, and this is something totally different. It's not the sensitivity, but response that needs retooling. Even on a 'low' setting, where the reticule crawls around, you're frustrated by the way your aim will sweep right over targets.

The music is annoying, voice acting is silly, 'cinematic' elements and

The Last Remnant: Xbox 360
Simply one of the most complex, amazingly fun games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. There's so much to customize and keep track of it just boggles the mind.

The only downside in the Unreal Engine the game runs on. It simply cannot handle this level of graphic detail and there's lots of stuttering framerate and texture pop-in. Over all it doesn't affect the gameplay at all (except for making some of the Timed Button Presses a little harder then they should be) but it's a testament to the quality of the game that I'm more then willing to completely overlook it.

I highly reccomend finding a FAQ or getting the strategy guide however; there's a LOT going on under the surface in this game.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Pro Console System
I recently bought one of these Holiday Xbox 360 bundles and the most important thing I can tell you is that the console has worked perfectly for over a month now and stays cool the entire time I play it. Read the other reviews I have posted for the various Xbox 360's and you will see I was not in favor of buying one due to their horrible reliability. Though now I can say that after extensive use (Including several times when the console was in use for over 6 hours, playing some of the most demanding games the system has such as Gears of War and Dead Rising) the console stays cool(meaning slight warmth to the air coming out of the console) no matter how long I use it, and is much quieter then all the previous 360's I have owned. I can say without hesitation that if you or someone your buying for wants an Xbox 360 now is the time to buy. Please keep in mind this review only applies to the Holiday bundles, not the older models.

Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip: Nintendo Wii
I honestly think I played this game for 9 hours on Saturday. So much fun. Had some friends playing with me and we just took turns trying to complete the challenges. I woke up the next day with very sore hamstrings (and I am pretty active) so I would suggest stretching out if you are going to be playing for awhile. As you get the hang of learning the tricks (for instance after you jump and while you are in the air put pressure on one toe and the opposite heal to pull off some crazy tricks to gain big points) it is even more enjoyable. Graphis care good. Game play on the balance board is great.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe: Xbox 360
Now I started to play this game when it first came out in the arcade. Awesome, brutal, and fun. I played all of the other variations and enjoyed them, but was disappointed by the lack of creativity that comes along with having to many predecessors. This version is by far the worst. I didn't see the gore or guts when you conduct a fatality like on other versions. You might as well play DOA or SC4 because they are so much more entertaining. I know mothers of America are worried about their kids seeing graphic images and all, but this game was intended for mature audiences, not the impressionable ten year old. honestly, honestly kids will like it because of the blood. I like the idea, but the execution is horrible. After story mode you get bored. The game controls are sloppy. The graphics are mediocre, and their aren't enough advanced options or extra features to keep the player busy. Rent this game, but don't buy it. The fatalities are horribly lame, they look incomplete. The graphics were

Sonic Unleashed: Xbox 360
I have to start off by saying Sonic unleashed is what many have been waiting for in a Sonic game, platforming mixed with speed and cool new things with less focus on side characters like Shadow and whatnot. I was both excited and dreading the release since the last few 3D games have been disappointing with gameplay and the number of glitches I encountered (specifically the Next Gen Sonic the Hedgehog game and Shadow the Hedgehog).

The game is fast fun and definitely polished, there's no glitches or agonizing load times seen in the next gen Sonic the Hedgehog, they took out the serious story with realistic looking characters and replaced the story with one of more fantasy with more fitting cartoonish characters. The levels go flawlessly from the behind the back running to 2D style running and they've added a few moves like drifting, boosting and quick dashing and thankfully removed the repetitive talking in the levels. The werehog was a big thing I feared from the start but it turns out

Bolt: Xbox 360
Unlike most movie based games, this one you play through episodes of the Bolt TV show that is briefly shown in the movie. Instead of interactively reliving the movie like most movie based games. The Bolt levels are fun and full of over the top bolt combat. The Penny based levels are stealthy and have fun puzzles to solve. The kids will love it, I thought it was really fun and am waiting for the kids to be done with it so I can play.

Tomb Raider: Underworld: Xbox 360
Tomb Raider Underworld not only redefines how Lara plays, but it takes the exploration aspect of the series into a whole new direction, and for the better.

I could not help but stare in amazement how amazing the environments are in this game, and best of all the game drops you off in the middle of them, forcing you to explore the lush world that is presented to you.

From the platforming to the gunplay, this game was satisfying from start to finish. The puzzles will always keep you on your toes and once again I have found a game that not only challenges problem solving abilities but it also gives you a great sense of accomplishment once you overcome the puzzles it throws at you.

In all, this was a great adventure. This is one of my favorite games this year, and I don't regret at all spending $60 on this title. Any Tomb Raider fan will fall in love with this instantly, and newcomers will quickly find and come to enjoy what we all have been enjoying since Crystal Dynamics kicked off the

The Last Remnant: Xbox 360
I read a lot of bad stuff about the graphical glitches and hang-ups in this game, so I borrowed a buddy of mines to play it before I bought it. I never let technical issues's stop me from getting a game unless its something as abysmal as a pc game that crashes every time you save your game or something fun like that.

This game is an extraordinary new title from square-enix. While it certianly pays homage to the strategy titles of old like Shining Force or Dark Wizard, it makes me think more of something like Dynasty Warriors, but as an rpg, a true rpg. That is to say that the battles take place on large fronts but still focus in on your main group. Its essentially a take on the epic feel of the huge battles that take place in a world wide war, but without losing focus on your select group of heroes. Its quite novel actually if you ask me and takes the feel of the drama up a notch. The story, from what I saw of the first 10 hours is quite compelling, especially for something done by the

Microsoft Xbox 360 Pro Console System
This was definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made in my life. You get 60gb, which is just the perfect amount, and two fun games for just 300! Good luck finding a Wii with no hard drive for under 300!

Call of Duty: World at War: Xbox 360
I love the FPS genre. I really do. I have bought and enjoyed every FPS since Doom, and have praised games like Goldeneye and Halo 1. I have enjoyed Halo 2 and 3 with my friends, since you can play split-screen online multiplayer. It's great fun to sit in the same room with one another and play on a projector screen, and we were all hoping for the latest installment of COD to have this feature.

We purchased COD:WAW the day it came out, and brought it home to find that the only playing we'd be doing on the same screen would be cooperative. A HUUUUGE letdown. This makes the game into a bunch of people running around by themselves totally oblivious to one another. This is compounded by the fact that there is NO peripheral vision--a problem Halo 2 had--fixed in Halo 3. Basically, my friends and I laugh out loud when we here the game announcer state at the beginning of team deathmatch games, "No one fights alone!"

I am a level 49 on COD:WAW, so I can say from experience that the spawns

Fallout 3: Xbox 360
Fallout 3 takes place in a post-apocalyptic nuclear holocaust destroyed world, specifically in the Washington DC area. Your character is a "Vault dweller" -- a person born and raised inside a Vault which is basically a super bomb shelter designed to keep it's inhabitants safe from the horrors of whatever lays outside. Fallout 3 is, first and foremost, a role playing game packaged in an almost first person shooter style container. The game is as deep in scope as it is wide in breadth. While you begin as a nobody in a tiny little world, you quickly grow to become a big player on a gigantic stage. Fallout 3 mixes a very driven series of main quests with the option of massive open-ended play distractions.

Fallout 3 was a far more robust experience than I had anticipated. I didn't play the first two, but I was a _huge_ Wasteland fan, so games of this genre really appeal to me.

The environments are absolutely stunning. All too often we get wrapped up in the game, in a tunnel-vision style

Microsoft Xbox 360 Arcade
I bought this bundle because Im broke, which is the beautiful part because after my first 360 gave me the red ring treatment I sold it for a ps2. The whole time I wanted another 360 but did;nt have the clams to shell out for a new one. But then Microsoft showed some class and presented the Arcade Holiday Bundle. It's the same 360 with a new format and layout (in the dashboard and live segments). The only thing that sucks about this is that there's no hard drive with it!, I would've rather had a wired controller and a 360 w/hard drive (at least the old 20gig one) but hey, what can you do about it. It's a big step up from the original base models, that only came with the wired controller, this one is a giver. For 199 you get a free wireless 360 pad, a 256mb memory card, (which can only hold memory for like 2 games)and a free month of XBOX Live Gold. What a steal! I did'nt really bother to play the included games too much, because I think personally that Wii Sports' version of tennis is a

Microsoft Xbox 360 Pro Console System
So far, the xbox has played like it is supposed to. I've been having a lot of fun and i will get my xbox live set up this weekend. I have had it for a month now and it has been very much fun to play. It scratched my disc up a little bit once but only because i took it out before it stopped spinning. it still plays fine but it could have been worse. make sure the disc stops spinning before you press eject and you should be fine.

Need for Speed: Undercover: Xbox 360
I am a huge fan of the NFS series and consider them classics and was really looking forward for this year's release. However I was disappointed with the final product. Need for Speed Undercover is clearly an attempt to cash in on the success of 2005's Most Wanted after ProStreet flopped with critics and fans. The game itself is as straightforward as you'd expect; race, come first, win cash, buy new cars. The underlying story is you're an undercover cop working for the police, quite straight foward. Everything seems to work as it should - the racing is fast and frenetic; the sense of speed is swell and the cars look mostly nice and slick. The biggest problem with Undercover, and it's a fundamental one, is that it's lazy.

Undercover features a great range of cars, but it's a simple cut-and-paste job from ProStreet and the cars that followed its release. There just isn't enough new here, and you'll likely have driven nearly every ride on offer here in a previous iteration of the series. The
