Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)

**A slight dissapointment .. they apparently took out planes? Rockstar .. why?! Helicopters are still there though**
Wow, what a disappointment...
I remember in San Andreas, all I would do is fly planes, especially the Hydra. In fact, I still remember the cheat code for the Hydra » Tri-Tri-Squ-Cir-X-L1-L1-D-U
I flew so much, I got my pilot's license before even taking the instruction course on like the third island or whatever. I guess if you fly so many hours, you don't even need to take the test.

I saw a bit of this game and I have to admit that the depth and graphics are wonderful. My main complaint is with the overall message it conveys. A bit too much swearing, violence and crime - definitely not a wholesome game. I'll just stick to my Wii for now.

Just picked this up yesterday and its great so far. The only problem is it takes several tries to find an anonymous online challenger. Hopefully they'll get that going smoothly before Mario Kart comes out.

I wanted to get this before it came out but after reading a few reviews I decided not to. Seems I made the right decision.

Best Wii Game!

Most of the talking is done at the beginning of the game and in between each "door" or whatever you'd call it. like in super mario, theres 1-4 » 8-4 , so every 'world' or w/e, but they call each level 'chapters'. After four chapters, you get a pure heart (and the *-4 level has a boss at the end, just like oringinal mario and mario galaxy). Once you get a pure heart, you put it in the heart piller (which u have to find) and then u get a new color door at the top of flipside tower. And each door has four chapters.

I throughly enjoyed the older versions of Mario, and ever since I seemed to like most of the newer games, so I might give this game a try. However, the extensive conversations that you say there are will not be too appealing. :(

I can use my TV as a 2nd monitor for my laptop via an S-Video connection. Then I can use the remote as a mouse or controller to browse the net or play games. No Wii required.

Lately I've been using it to play games on my laptop via Bluetooth. It works amazingly well with emulators. Even better with an S-Video connection to my TV.
I've seen some YouTube videos about using your wiimote on your computer, but what do you mean with connecting it to the TV?

Yeah, I really like that on Guitar Hero III for Wii, it beeps on the wiimote and not the screen. But the wiimote doesn't really follow your swing well in Golf for Wii Sports. But I love that it's wireless, not too many buttons to worry about, and that you hold it vertical in some games, horizontal in others.

Overall it has great graphics and would recommend it for the younger than 9 crowd- no one older would enjoy it, since it has lack of challenge.
I'm older than 9 and I really like it.
