Let me begin by telling you what I believe to be the worst thing about this mp3 player: The designers had the audacity to not include a lanyard hole. Yep that's right, the worst that I can come up with is that you can't use a lanyard with this player. Other than that, I have nothing but high praise. To be honest, I've been blowing this player off for quite some time now because it's, like... Short, squat and kind of resembles an iPod. Call me prejudiced, but I just really don't like iPods. It just seemed to me SanDisk was purposefully attempting to mimic the form of the iPod. My last mp3 player was a Sansa e260 which I dearly loved. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, other than discovering that 4GB was too small. I realize that I could have expanded the players capacity with a removable micro SD card, but I recall reading a forum posting which mentioned that putting an SD or micro SD card in your device would cause a greater drain on the battery. I tested this with several

These cans are amazing for the price, better audio quality than the Sony XD200 and I'm only 15 hours in (my audiophile friend says I shouldn't judge until I "burn them in" for 100 hours but screw him). Here is what I think of them compared to all the other cans I've owned: Sony MDR-XD100: way better than the XD100 Sony MDR-XD200: slightly better sound Sony MDR-XD300: I'm sure after 90 hours these HT360 will sound just as good as the XD300 and they don't cost 40 bucks because of the Sony brand Sennheiser HD-280: even though the sen's are better I prefer these HT360's and the XD300 because the sen's have too much bass and make everything sound too "professional" or "studio like". A lot of people might like that but I prefer to hear songs how they were recorded and when watching TV shows like Family Guy it sounds like you're in a theater or something. BTW the XD300's have a bass switch you can turn on or leave off so they're great for everyone. Anyway, these Panasonic RP-HT360 are the

I was very encouraged when I read so many glowing reports, especially regarding older vehicles. However, this product DOES NOT work well in my vehicle, a 1999 Jeep Cherokee with the factory-installed stereo system still intact. I'm not sure why, but I have a suspicion that it has something to do with the fact that my tape player does not have an actual play button - it begins playing the tape as soon as it is inserted. I tried switching between radio/cd/tape and then engaging the adapter and iPod, but that did not help. When engaged, the volume is so low that you cannot hear it while driving. I could go on - but .... You really do get what you pay for. And I was so looking forward to listening to my iPod while driving.

First the pros:
the audio is fantastic, superb highs and mid range with a tight controlled bass. For those people who say there is no bass, you have to crank your ipod to 70% to hear the bass, which is very good. The build of the shell is sturdy. Another pro is it comes with a bunch of ear pieces for a good fit.
The cons:
I bought mine a couple weeks ago and liked them a lot. This is not my first set of UE's from the company, so I trust the brand. After a few days the ear pieces started getting stuck in my ear and I would have to dig them out. Then about three weeks after i got them the cord broke for no reason. I returned them the following day.
Long story short, they replaced them, no questions asked. The current pair are doing much better. They are tuned a little bit better also. Every thing is a little better with these!
My advice, If you want this brand but want more bass, go with the 220's. If you like a controlled bass and superb highs and mids, then these are

This is the perfect bedroom iPod player. It has decent sound quality while still being compact enough to go on your nightstand. One feature I really like it the adjustable dimmer settings on the clock, 3 levels of brightness and one with no backlighting which is perfect for different sleepers. The clock is also nice and large where you can actually see it from across the room.
At first I wasn't too sure about the style of the device, but it really shows off your iPod and also doesn't take up much space.

I liked my wife's 8gb player so much I bought one for myself. However, it cannot load two-disc sets properly. The 1st disc goes OK, but when the 2nd disc is loaded the order of play is thus: track one, disc one; track one, disc two; track two, disc one; track two, disc two; track three,, disc one; track three, disc two, etc. I've been going back and forth with Rhaposody reps for a week, they seem completely stumped. This is a real bummer when the albums in question are live concert recordings.. I'm considering changing over to Sony, as Ipods are too expensive. Making a playlist doesn't work. Renaming one disc works but then the player sees two separate albums. Now it's full so I need a 16gb of one brand or another.

I've owned mine for over 2 years now and love it. Not just for music but I watch movies on it as well on long flights. I would buy another one in a heart beat. Just added a 8 GB memory card.

I haven't done much with this device except move audio files onto it and listen to them. I've also listened to radio. These features are both fine. Really I'm just posting this review to make note of one thing: the physical connection to your PC is NOT a standard USB or USB Mini port. Instead, they have their own proprietary connection. I just cannot understand why a company would use proprietary technology in the 21st century. So when I travel, I need to take multiple chargers/connectors, just because of this MP3 player's connection. That's a shame, and really poor design. (The connection is USB to your PC, of course; just not to the device.) I should note that I use Windows and I drag/drop files directly into directories where I want them, and I also listen to items by navigating to specific folders (as opposed to using the artist/song/album tags of the mp3 file). All of this is quite simple, with the small exception that it takes about two more clicks than it should (on the player)

I like the SanDisk Sansa so this is a FYI message. I needed to charge the Sansa player so I pluged it into my Daughters Mac note book and it wiped out all data on my Sansa player. I wish I knew that before I plugged it in.

First, an introduction: Some other reviewer touted his expertise, and I think I need to do the same to lend some credibility to my review. I've owned and used MP3 players since the very FIRST year they came out. And I've paid enormous prices for the initial Creative Labs players too. To that, I've owned every single iPod and apple TV that has come out (I buy and sell them). I am a SUPREME power user with a music library of 162GB, and a 9 terabyte video library. I know what I'm talking about. That said, and WITHOUT repeating other reviews, I'd agree with all the positive reviews of this player :) and only add the one major detriment to any creative labs player is that they do NOT last. Every single one I've bought has been outlived by apple's counterparts. I am not dissing creative labs mind you, just stating they are more cheaply made (hence they are cheaper to purchase) and hence they are not as durable. Bear that in mind! iPods are the standard for a reason, and those standards

Although I am computer literate (but crippled by the fact I am 63 years old!) , I have always hesitated in buying a mp3 player. However, did buy the 8 gb Sansa Fuze as was going to Aruba for a couple of weeks and thought I would try it out for beach, etc. This thing does it all and its easy to operate. Moreover, no problem in downloading music from computer. Literally, within a matter of minutes, I was creating my own 'playlists' and downloading them into the Fuze. Great product for a great price (especially from Amazon which was 30%+ less than Best Buy price)! I now understand why the younger group loves mp3 players; all I can say that for the 'older' group, don't hesitate to buy the Sansa Fuze. If you like music, you will love the Fuze.

I've owned this player for many months, and like all but a few things. Don't get me wrong, I'll never buy any incarnation of iPod. I'm not a Mac fanatic. For its' size, I think this unit is a much better choice than anything else on the market. I just have a few gripes: There is no software for the Mac, and unlike my Panasonic SV-MP020 (simple music-only players, I have several of them), it does not show up as a hard drive when connected to the Mac. For someone like me who would like to get through the day without turning on my old PC, this is a downer. I dislike iTunes, and would prefer "dragging and dropping" over being locked into software that constantly schemes up new ways to try to drain my wallet, and push their agenda. It does not recognize PNG format images, and pukes on most WMA files (unless created with THEIR software). It CONSTANTLY wants to fade out after 10 seconds (until you change the setting, but won't go over 30 seconds). It won't loop a directory of images,

Although affordable, this alarm clock does not deliver. The sound, even with a bass booster is a bit tinny. The sleep function is tricky because if you have the volume low to begin with, the sound shuts down after a minute or two. I have no luck with any models of IHome Alarm clocks--even the expensive models breakdown after a short period of time.

Have had this for 6 months. Solid feel-- good construction-- great sound and the only audio book friendly Player I found out of 3 mp3s I purchased. The unit starts where you shut it off and the ability to move back and forward in chapters of books quickly, make this a pleasure to use----- throw in great battery life and crystal clear sound and you can't go wrong with this Ipod killer. A decent set of ear buds finishes off the pkg. Using this with free local library digital down loads thru overdrive or net library makes this the best bargain for audio books that you can find.

Had to tune radio into the 87 frequencies and change itrip to Int'l mode. Press and hold both buttons down at the same time to select mode and allow tuning below 88.1. Perfect sound, no static.

The Sansa View is quirky at best. Once the lock button has been activated, sometimes the controls cannot be unlocked unless the device is totally turned off and then back on. The MUSIC files are sometimes visible on the "file manager" of the computer and sometimes they are invisible. When the device is turned on, sometimes the boot-up is instantaneous and other times it takes awhile. My latest problem is that it won't turn on, but after a number of attempts it does turn on. This purchase has been a disappointment.

The sound quality of these are better than all of my other earbuds, and I have used a bunch. If you fit well with Shure and Sony, these will fit you fine. They do not have the buzz that Shures does during low volume and they have better fidelity than most Sonys. At a sale price of $60, these are a steal. Buy them.

I've been looking for a long time for a device that utilizes simple mp3 syncing via windows media player, but also has a ton of storage. I hate the bulky "systems" such as ITunes or Zune that tie you to a certain computer or require full syncing everytime you want to add files. Unfortunately, most devices that offer the simple Windows Media approach don't have close to the storage of an IPod or Zune-type device. Well, the Creative X-Fi is the almost-perfect bridge for this gap. With the 32 gig storage and nice screen size, this is the sleekest and most powerful "drag and drop" file-managing device I've found. I also think it looks great and works easily - the little button rows make it easy to skip tracks/change volume by feel, which is handy when running or driving. The power switch (as many others have pointed out) is annoying and placed in a slightly ridiculous spot on the back of the device. That is really my only complaint after 3 months of using this pretty much constantly-

I love this case. It fits perfectly over my IPOD classic 7gen 160gb. The case is durable, easy to hold (with great grips) and keeps my ipod safe from scratches and damage. I've already dropped it a few times and nothing bad has happened to it. I like how the turn wheel is not covered as it gives you more flexibility to maneuver with it. Everything else fits safe and sound inside the case. You can charge the ipod or connect it to any source using the USB cable without a problem. The only minor complaint I have is you have to remove the case to effectively use the earphone jacks, but it is easy to slide on or off so that really isn't an issue for me. I looked at many different cases before deciding on this one and I'm glad I chose it!

people on here complain that it scratches easily and I don't think its necessarily true. if you keep it in the pouch that it comes in nothing will happen to it unless your careless. there is no reason to touch the screen all you have to touch is the circle and only one click will suffice because if you keep on clicking on the circle you may cause the device to freeze. the headphones that come with it are
