Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for Select Canon SLR Cameras
Although this lens is intended for macro photography, it's also a great lens for general purpose shots, or portrait shots. The lens produces beautiful sharp images and is a fast, accurate focuser. The lens is moderately heavy and bulky, so I wouldn't classify it as eminently carryable, and without image stabilization, you might suffer hand shake blur if you're not shooting at the wide end; at smaller apertures, using it with a tripod is highly recommended. But if you're buying it primarily to get into macro this shouldn't much matter as tripod shooting with macro is virtually a necessity, and completely expected.

The 100mm focal length is a nice compromise when you want to get close to small subjects (particularly insects) but are limited to how close you can get before scaring the subject off - as a comparison with the 180mm macro, you would want to factor in a consideration as to what you might like to shoot most of the time - big spiders that you'd rather stay well away from might

Philips 7FF2CME 7-Inch Digital Photo Frame (Refurbished)-Philips 7-Inch Digital Photo Frame
Strange as it seems, I often find myself pricing digital photo frames when at local big-box retailers. They seem like such a great gift idea, but I'm hard pressed to spend $130+ to display my photos.

This frame, while in the $90 range, is certainly more affordable, but not quite the performance-for-bargain I was hoping for.

Though I have one digital frame at home (a Westinghouse), I was keen for a second to put on display downstairs.

For argument's sake, let's say I'm the type of person who doesn't like to read directions. That being said, I fidgeted with the frame's interface for about five minutes before I figured out how to move through all the menus, change the clock, delete the 'Philips' photos and set my photos to a slide-show mode. It was a little awkward, but not unbelievably difficult.

What I like most:

~The frame's actual design. It's very sleek looking and compact, which is a huge improvement on some of the bulkier frames out there (like my Westinghouse).

~Also, I'd

Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM Telephoto Lens
If you have the extra money & need a great sports lens this is a really nice choice. It's bright, focuses fast, and is sharp, sharp, sharp! It's light enough to hand hold but I don't recommend it if you're going to be shooting for a long period of time.

Olympus 14-35mm F2.0 SWD Zoom Lens-Digital SLR Lens E 14-35mm
This is an awesome lens however this price is more than what they are asking at camera stores, I would expect an Overstock product to be less expensive. But to anyone thinking about purchasing this lens it's great and it stays on my camera most of the time. It is a heavy lens though. I also highly recomend the 35-100 mm F2 and it's even heavier, but I always carry it with me in my back pack.

Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM Telephoto Lens
I bought this lens for sports photography. The Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM Super Telephoto Lens for Canon SLR Cameras is the classic sports photographer's lens, but it's almost twice the money and twice the weight. This was a compromise, and it's one I don't regret.

Even so, this is a pretty heavy lens. It may be hand-holdable for some, but not for me. I almost always use a tripod or monopod, or brace it against something. With a monopod, it's easy to handle; I routinely use it to photograph 3-hour baseball games, and don't get tired.

Because it's so heavy and bulky, it's not the kind of lens you bring with you casually. But I've found myself using it for a lot more than sports. Photographing flowers, say, to get that beautiful bokeh. I got some nice photos of the moon with it during the last eclipse.

The sheer size of this lens does attract attention. People are always coming up to me and asking if I'm a reporter. The results are worth it, though. You'll get shots that

Sony MDR-G54LP Street Style Headphones-Sony MDR-G54LP Street Style Headphones
I have bought 4 -5 sets of headphones to wear while exercising and 2 have been Sony. By far, Sony has the best sound quality.

I wanted to get away from the in ear type because they eventually fall out so I purchased these but they are not suitable for use while jogging are aerobic type exercise. However, I tend to use them while house cleaning or long road trips with family while my husband drives.

Coby Electronics CV-890 Wireless Headphone
I have had these head phones for only 7 months. They are good except that they stretch out and fall off my head at the slightest tilt and the signal is interrupted by virtually any static producing machine. They have fallen off my head so often that they are now broken and unusable.Except for this design flaw, they are good headphones. The range you can travel from the sending unit is better than advertised and they have excellent reception from a radio or TV.You will have severe static pickup from household machines such as the vacuum, microwave and hair dryers. If you use them in a work environment they will pick up severe static from the computer, sanding machines and any source that produces an electrical static field.

Canon L-Series 200mm f/2L IS USM Telephoto EF Lens for Canon EOS Digital SLR Cameras

In a word, this lens is "amazing"...not good, not great, but AMAZING. This lens is the culmination of Canons continued improvement in lens design and build quality.

As many know, this 200mm f2.0 replaces the ever popular f1.8 version. For the added .2 stop, you gain, IS, and a much lower weight lens due to a smaller overall glass diameter (granted, its still heavy, but much lighter than the 1.8) In addition to loosing .2 stops of light gathering ability, the lens supposedly looses another 1/3 of a stop, vs. the f1.8, due to the many element surfaces and/or the glass types. This info was compiled by a friend who tested the two side by side. So if shutter speed is your real need, and you always shoot on a tripod, the f1.8 might still be the better option, as the f2.0 version could cost you up to .6 stops of shutter speed if both are shot wide open. The f1.8 was also a truly remarkable design, legendary, as ebay prices reflect such. However, this f2.0 version still performs

Sony MDR-ED12LP/BLU Blue Bud Style Headphones
My search is over...I had to find ear buds that don't fall out of my ear during my workout and deliver a full range of sound. I thought the stock iPod buds were fine, but I knew I could find a better sounding set of ear phones/buds out there. I do care about the sound quality of my music.

After trying the VModa Bass, Sony MDR EX75, there is no comparison. I was giving up hope that I could find a decent sounding ear bud under $100. The VModa and EX75 both sounded distorted with no low end. I was very surprised they received high ratings on Amazon. I have a Nano 4g, so I was started to think it was the player, but I did not want to give up hope...

Let me tell you...these ear buds deliver an unbelievable range of sound, clear highs and lots of clean low end. I think the key factor is the large size driver (16mm on this one, most others are 8mm). These ear buds stay in my ear, without falling out. One little negative is the relatively long chord (3.9 ft). The higher end Sony ear

Canon Battery Grip for Select Canon Digital SLR Cameras
A great add-on for your product. Doesn't add too much weight, and it feels well made.

I just wanted to clarify something for future buyers of this item: you get TWO trays. One tray holds two canon LP-E5 batteries, and the other tray holds 4 AA batteries. That wasn't made clear to me before my purchase (i thought you could use the power sources simultaneously).

Sony MDR-EX75/SLV EX Ear Bud Style Headphones - Silver
This was my second attempt to find a full sounding ear bud for my Nano 4g. I ended up returning this set and the VModa Bass, both high rated ear phones. These ear buds produced a distorted sound with no low end. I tried multiple EQ settings on the player, but I could not compensate. I was very surprised they received a high rating on Amazon. Perhaps these buds could not handle the output from my Nano 4g. Another factor may be the small driver size (8 mm). Otherwise, I thought they were of a high quality construction and were comfortable to wear.

I ended up with the Sony Mdr-Ed12Lp/Blu Budstyle Headphones (Blue). These buds produced a much fuller sound from my player and the buds stayed in my ear during my work out. These buds have a 16 mm driver.

Pyle 23''- 50'' Flat Panel Tilting Wall Mount With Built In Level
It is unusual to get anything anywhere that really works, has all the parts and fits as it is supposed to. This item was excellent, I had my TV mounted on the wall in 30 minutes. It is a great value since I looked in discount and electronics stores and saw similar mounts for $100-$200.

Creative Earphones EP-630
I used to believe that earbud headphones were hopeless. I had tried several pairs, but none fit my ear, none had good sound quality, and none stayed comfortable after extended use. That is, until I found the Creative EP-630s.

I received my pair with my Dell Inspiron laptop last year and figured they were a cheap freebie. Boy, was I wrong. These headphones single-handedly shattered any negative bias I had against earbuds.

When I first put them in my ears, I was astounded. The soft silicone casing created a snug fit to my ear canal. This both sealed out ambient noise effectively and prevented the earbuds from slipping out accidentally. I could go running with these headphones without any problems with them falling out. In addition, the soft silicone made it possible to wear these headphones for hours without getting uncomfortable in any way. I was also impressed with their sound quality. Not only could I hear more intricacies of my music due to the lack of ambient noise, but the

Sennheiser PX100 Portable Stereo Headphone
I am comparing these headphones to other products people may be interested in.

Shure SE110
Apple Ear Buds
Seinnheiser HD280s
Sony EX71
Skullcandy Ink'd

Pros:
More comfortable than ear buds or closed headsets
Extremely portable
Inexpensive
Excellent sound quality (recessed mids but excellent balance and richness for the most part)
Can hear the outside world

Cons:
Can hear the outside world, and they can hear you
Really need to be broken in for the sound quality to go from amazing to exquisite

On their own, the PX 100 headphones are extremely comfortable, fit well, collapse for portability, and sound amazing. They are relatively inexpensive and have a beautiful warm, boomy sound that was absolutely shocking when I first put them on. They are the best sounding headphones I have that I can wear comfortably.

These headphones have very similar sound quality to the HD280s but tend to make music more enjoyable. While the 280s are more analytical and balanced, the px 100s are more colorful

Kodak EasyShare 7" LCD Digital Photo Frame - White
This Kodak EasyShare digital frame is a generation beyond the earlier models. With its touch border that allows the user to set up a slide show from a variety of options, the interface is friendly for even someone not entirely comfortable with new technology.

The unit comes with a black frame and two colored mattes (burgundy and silver) to dress up the look. Photos can be introduced either through a USB device or a memory card. Old digital frames used to have individual slots for the different kinds of memory cards, but the EasyShare has a single one that accommodates SD, XD, MMC, and MS cards. The included CD with EasyShare software is for Windows only; however, Mac software is available on the Kodak site. The best part of this frame is that you don't need the software to use it right out of the box. Simply stick in a memory device, turn it on, and the frame begins displaying. The only features this frame is missing that some more advanced models have are wireless connectivity

Kodak EasyShare 7" LCD Digital Photo Frame - White
This very sleek looking picture frame displays your favorites photos (hundreds of them) in any way you desire, simply by using the `controls on the frame' Quick Touch Border. This allows for super simple operation with a touch or slide of your finger, with no screen fingerprints or smudges. The touch panel features yellow lights that illuminate to tell you exactly where to touch. You can set your frame vertically or horizontally. Some photos that do not fit the typical ratio are displayed in 'letterbox' style.

With the enclosed software, you can easily create multimedia slide shows from your desktop and easily transfer them to your Memory card/Stick to install into your frame. Browse and edit your family or vacation photos and easily drag-and-drop pictures for slide shows. The number of photos on your Kodak Easycare frame is limited only by the size of your memory card or memory stick (not included). With an 8 GB memory card/stick, you can store over 1,600 high quality photos (there

Kodak EasyShare 7" LCD Digital Photo Frame - White
Kodak may have been late to the digital bandwagon, but they have in recent years stepped up the quality significantly. This digital frame has plenty of memory for photos at "its" resolution. Before you look at the fact it only has a small amount of memory. The screen is small enough so that a 480x234 image looks fine. A way to get more on the frame is to purchase a really large SD Memory card and bump up the amount of storage available.

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-70mmf/2.8G ED Lens
According to other reviewers this is one of Nikon's best lenses ever. My first impression does not echo that sentiment. I just opened the box I received from Amazon and the first thing I noticed was that the zoom did not feel smooth and there was a sound of metal rubbing against metal when zooming from 24mm to 35mm. If the lens is rotated so that the focus switch is facing downward toward the ground, the metal grinding sound goes away, but the zoom operation still feels rough.

When zoomed wide the part of the lens that extends has excessive play, focus seems to work but there is something inside the lens that is not tightened down properly. This is a Pro series lens and for the price I expect better quality control than this. I have read other reviews reporting metal shavings and debris causing distortions. I am new to Nikon equipment, but so far I am not impressed with Nikon's quality control.

Since this is a quality control issue I am not rating the quality of the glass at this time,
