I had the same problem when i started jogging. i sweat alot the the moisture destroys the remote/mic. after a couple of failures i finally made something that protects the remote/mic from moisture (even in the steam room) while still keeping it's functionality (you can even talk while its on without a sound muffle). check it out on ebay, just search "i-sweat"
