Fast, reliable and easy to understand without reading the whole manual- which was not available. Easy to read LCD screen for us printer dummies. Extremely easy to replace ink and to set up the speed dial functions. Like the large capacity paper well. Reduced my desk space with only one machine to do several functions well. Now I can actually read the faxes as they are printed.

I've been through 6 to 7 printers over the years, this is clearly the best. Printer set-up very easy (follow directions). One issue with sales person who said I needed USB cable to hook up to wireless. Not so. It easily found my router and all I had to do was enter password. Biggest time consumer was installing software on three computers. Worked great with Vista one computer ran XP and seemed to stall until I turned off firewall. Directions clearly state best to leave firewall on and disable anti-virus. Still overall hassle free. It is not in my opinon noisy. We use it in same room we watch TV and it is quiet. Most important my wife is happy.

Toner gave me less than 150 pages on fast/economical printing of a text-only document. This is a huge cost.
When using fast/economical the paper feeder grabs the paper so fast it jams up about half the time. The printer doesn't open very well so getting the jammed paper out is hard.
The printer driver on Vista fails to recover when there is a paper jam and toner cartridges get "upset" = "out of line." Have to restart computer.
If the printer worked well and was gentler on toner use, I'd recommend it. But not this way. I'm taking it back this afternoon.

Printer does not stay online reliably with any of our 3 PCs. I am going to throw it away and buy something else. Not worth trying to sort it out.
Very intrusive software, poorly written.
Dumps pages on floor when printing more than one page. How sad is that?
Paper feed not reliable.
Nothing good to say.

Setup was easy on my wireless network. Scanner creates pdf or doc files to the networked computer of your choice. Two sided printer saves paper. Connect cable to router or use wireless. Power saver works great. Print job or phone wakes up. No problems at all, so far!

I purchased this printer about 3 months ago and I love it! The price was Great and the print is perfect! The ink last so much longer than my brothers and my HP printers I have had. I would recomend this printer to anyone!

We replaced a good quality Epsom printer-scanner-copier. We needed a machine that also faxes but did not want to compromise photo printing ability. We are very satisfied, with the quality and pleased with the price. Scanning coping, and faxing all work well and are easy functions to perform. All in all a great machine, at a very good price.

I've printed 80 invitations with a grayscale pic on the outside and color inside - perfect! I've also printed 300+ notecards - again, perfect. Love this printer! Wireless setup was a breeze with Vista (nothing else is a breeze with Vista!) I've printed a few color photos, with better-than-average results. I am sooo happy I purchased this Pixma 990 printer!

Some reviews have mentioned the foot print -- it is a little larger than others, but I consider this a plus. This is the first printer I've had in a long time that doesn't feel like it's going to break with the slightest touch. It is sturdy and appears to work perfectly. It automatically duplex prints, so you don't have to re-insert the paper in the print drawer. It has a second tray in the rear for pictures or envelopes. The only issue I have is that sometimes it;s not obvious how to get some things to print properly, ie. bookfold and pictures/envelopes. For example, to print bookfold, you must manually change the print setting to "staple" on the left. To print envelopes from Word, you must set the print option to envelope before you open up the envelope option in Word.

I was skeptical about getting this printer at first. I wanted a printer to go hand in hand with my camera. I was worried I wouldn't need SO much printer. I love the print quality and my photographer sister-in-law is jealous of my printer! The apps are so easy to use my two and a half year old nephew can scroll through, locate, select and print out coloring pages! I've found uses for every single feature and only have the printer a few days now. The ink cartridges it came with lasted okay, I've printed out almost 20 high quality 4X6 prints and most of the cartridges are still almost full except for cyan (but I have to be fair and admit that several photos are underwater images... so I have a feeling that is where all the blue went!) I have higher hopes for the XL ones you can replace them with. All around I am happy with my purchase. I probably didn't need all the features but they sure have been fun to have! It's a little slow sometimes but that could be my internet connection or just because

Having used an old HP Photosmart 1115 for seven years and having printed sub par photos, I was pleasantly surprised to see the photo quality this machine produces. I needed the wireless for my laptop and wanted the photo quality for my desktop. Set up was relatively simple if you have reasonable computer and router knowledge. If you have MAC filtering enabled, you will need to generate a report to find and add the MAC address. Does very well when printing directly from the SD card and onboard screen. Scanner and copier work fine. All around good value. The other nice feature is individual ink cartridges so you aren't wasting ink like with the tri color cartridge models.

When I first opened up the box my first thoughts were "what have i gotten myself into" but it was so easy to set up! I didnt realize that it was also a fax, which i dont need. The ink life is fantastic i have gotten so many pictures out of my first set of cartridges.

This printer is great it prints quickly, the scanner is also great. The only downfall is that it uses ink INCREDIBLY fast. I am a college student and I try not to print out many notes on this printer so I will not use as much ink, and this is rather inconvenient.

I've always had HP printers, & this is just as awesome as the other ones I've owned. The set up was a snap & was really looking forward to the wireless printing. I haven't quite figured out how to get a static IP address so that there is no issue with printing from multiple computers without being wired.

The printer delivers high quality color graphics for reports and the the scanner quickly did the job for 2 sided documents (and gave lots of choices of how to save or send the scanned file).

After many e-mails back and forth with HP, they basically admitted that this printer will not work with 64-bit IE 8 as they wrote me that the ultimate solution to the printer's inability to print Internet pages can only be fixed by going back to IE 7. How long did hardware manufacturers have to write drivers for 64-bit Windows 7? Have been a long-time user of HP products, but this experience has changed my perspective.

This is a great value. I traded up from by office jet 80x1 all in one to this one The price was just right and the printing qualility is good also. My only issue is the speed of the printing job. But since I use it mainly for home use, I don't need that much speed speed.

The printer is loud and seems to re-calibrate every time I print. I've only had the printer a couple of weeks and didn't print much, but it is already indicating low on ink. I was told by buying the separate, more expensive ink it would last longer.

I have used all 3 functions and I will tell you how I liked each one. I was very pleased with the printer. The speed is very good and the quality of the print is high. If you have more that one page, it starts with the last and ends with the first. I found this way of printing so much better because I don't have to restack the pages when the work is done. The copier worked like a charm. It was fast and the copies were clear. The only problem I had was with the scanner. I wished that more instuctions came in the box for scanning but it did it very fast. I think this is worth the money.

This is an early review for me but I just had to put one out. I love this printer. The quality of the photos are amazing. AMAZING!!!, But besides the clarity, the options are unbelievable. I found that it automatically removes red-eye when you print. Grab a photo that has nasty red-eye and select it to print and when the print options pop open make sure red-eye remover is clicked and that's it, it does it perfectly. Also the photos come out bright, rich and vivid. The wi-fi is great. This is one of the reasons I bought this. I have 4 different pc's and nothing but trouble trying to setup a network printer. This 810 was recognized and setup on all systems. Systems with different operating systems also. The cd tray is smooth. It's built into this 810. Press a button and it automatically pops out, insert the cd and press again and it loads it. Perfect. I really have nothing bad to say about this. I have been printing anything and everything just to see the results. It's so quiet. Fax
