No Headset Jack

The unit works fine, but in my case I was looking for something to attach a wireless headset to and the description mislead me to this device. There is no jack to connect to it.

Where Has the Quality Gone?

This is the first Panasonic product to disappoint me. The battery life is poor and there are too many disconnects. The message "reconnect to base" pops up when trying to answer or make a call. Also, the screen goes dark when trying to answer or make a call. The battery goes from 3 bars to 1 bar in less than 3 hours idle time. Perhaps quality control is not as good in their Chinese assembly plants.

Shipping Error

I already have this phone and have had no problems w/it. It works great. I was adding another individual phone to my current based. Overstock.com shipped the phone, but w/o the battery in the phone which makes it worthless for use. Customer Service was quick, but said the Parts Dept would contact me in 1-2 days....little inconvenient...let you know if they come through w/the battery. I've been impressed with Overstock.com in the past so history is positive.

Head set

Great clarity in hearing and according to the person on the other end, they say they can hear me speaking very clearly. There is no distortion in the ear piece and it is comfortable to wear.

Panasonic 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone

I recently purchased an additional 2 Panasonic (refurbished KX-TGA560) cordless handsets adding to the two that the system originally came with. I successfully installed them without any difficulty and they work quite well with the two that I purchased in November, 2006. We use the phonebook feature and caller ID, as well as the missed calls feature regularly. In the three years since the original purchase, we've had no problems. I find that being able to remotely call into the system to retrieve messages is likewise useful.

Panasonic cordless handset

We have this same phone system in our home and just wanted to add a handset. I love the idea of buying a refurbished one. It came in great shape, works perfectly and was a great price.

It'd be nice if it worked

I'm sure the phone would have been great but it didn't work. I returned it and got a new set--same problem. When a call comes in the hand set turns off, and on, and off, and sometimes you could hit the "talk" button at the right moment and actually answer the phone. After being on hold with Panasonic for 45 minutes they instructed me to do all sorts of nonsense that didn't work then asked me to mail the set to them so they could send out a refurbished set as a replacement. I told them I would just return it to Amazon again. Amazon, thanks. Panasonic, I probably won't be purchasing any of your products for a while.

Stay away from this phone dont waste 1 penny!!!

Phone constantly needs to charge, we lose connections with the base constantly and our home is average size, we exchanged our first set for a second set...the same exact problems. LCD screen goes blank when we phone is ringing and then goes dead. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this phone.

Working well.

I purchased the base phone and one remote phone about a year ago at a discount warehouse store. I liked the convenience so I ordered another remote phone from Amazon for my home office. So far, it has been working as well as the base and other remote and keeps me from having to run to another room to answer the phone. The sound quality, battery time, and durability are excellent.

Blah

Base station seems to shut the ringer off automatically from time to time during peak business hours for every incoming line. Handsets are made of really cheap plastic and do not hold up well. We've had to replace all of our original handsets that we originally purchased. Setting up the automated attendant features require a PhD and extensive headaches. I feel the price we paid for the unit was very high for the quality of product that we received. In the process of looking for a better phone system now, as I cannot afford to miss any more calls from this phone system that doesn't even peform the basics. Steer clear of this product, you'll be better suited doing more research on another product.

sent with a dead battery

I love the phone, once I got it working. It was sent with a dead battery. I had to order the battery on-line because no local stores carried it. The battery cost me almost as much as the phone, however, you would not be able to get this phone for as little as I paid even with the extra expense of the battery.

Good Quality Headset, At a Good Price!

I've been working out of a home office for almost 15 years now, and I do a LOT of phone & computer work. About 10 years ago I started looking into hands-free headsets for my phone because I found I was always using my computer (keyboard, mouse, or both) and wanted to free up my hands. Problem was ... each headset I tried had one of two problems; either it was of poor construction quality, and/or it had poor mic and earphone quality or volume. I found myself either returning them, or replacing them at least once a year. But about 4 years ago I came across some good reviews here on Amazon for the Panasonic KX-TCA92, and decided to give that a try. I have always been partial to Panasonic products (I own a plasma TV, microwave oven, and their multi-line phone system). And again with this headset product ... I was not disappointed. Panasonic Cordless

Very user friendly cordless phone with great range from base. Maintains charge a long time, has extremely clear sound and volume. Price is reasonable. The only negative is that store merchants don't carry the individual phones. They are only available for purchase on the internet.

Nice Addition to our Panasonic phones

This handset was as promised and once I found the instructions on how to set it up it has worked like a charm. The information provided to me on how to add it to the system was woefully inadequate. If you accidently hit a button (or assume you can do it without the instructions) you will not be able to use their steps. You have to get it to say OK on the handset display before you can do any programming. To get to OK just press MENU, 0, 0 (zeroes). Then you can follow the manual as OK will show on the display.

Second Set

We have a restaurant and are very hard on our phones. They are consistently in use, and have been dropped more times than I can count. I had to buy more phones because after a year some of the phones that I had would no longer ring or make button tones. Overstock had the best price and I dont mind having the refurbished models, some of them even seemed to be in better shape than the originals. Even with the problems I would consider this a good phone, the 2 lines, and all the features, work great.

Great phones

These cordless phones are very good. The range is excellent and the clarity on both sides of the conversation are excellent. They are simple to use and offer some very nice features. I highly recommend these Panasonic cordless phones over any other brand. I have had or have family and friends who have had or have other brands of cordless phones and they all pale in comparison.

The product received was in pristine condition, as expected. It worked just fine, packaging instructions were clear and accurate, delivery was timely. I was completely satisfied.

Great Phone

First and foremost. I love Panasonic Phones. I think they make the best home phones. Even though no one really has a land line anymore, I still do. This phone is the best phone I've had and I love it. Only negative that I can think of is there is no "Locate Button" incase you can't find the handset. Other than that the thing works like a gem.

Perfectly Defective

Every single handset does the same thing. That is one out of every three times you press a button, or answer a call, it goes dead and says 'charge for 7 days'. This happens to all handsets, even if they are fully charged. The great part is when it happens to all three at once, and you cannot even answer the call. This model obviously has issues, and should be pulled from Amazon all together.
