This is a very nice little point and shoot. I had purchased it for a friend to be able to use to just take snapshots, and during a short vacation getaway found that the image quality was just about as good as my more expensive compact digital camera -- easy to use, fast start-up, and lots of scene modes.
Note that the out-of-the-box configuration is not all that great for action shots -- make sure you familiarize yourself with the scene modes already set up by Nikon -- you'll find a huge difference right away!!
The menus are a bit difficult to navigate for newcomers: I had to do some setup for my buddy -- but it's a breeze for those who are familiar with the Nikon systems.
This really is a great little camera that gives surprisingly wonderful shots -- it's hard to classify it as a snapshot digital camera with such high IQ.
Get an extra battery if you don't want to recharge every night -- battery drain is a bit worse than some other cameras of this size.

I bought it on 4/30 and Amazon said it will be delivered on 5/9. Actually on the 2nd day it is already in the stock in Dallas ( I live in Dallas). 10 days passed and no delivered made yet! I called the service guy and CEVA several times and they still can not figure out when can I get my TV. So I tell Amazon I want to cancel the order. This kind of delivery makes me upset. Guess what? They said they need to charge me $109 to return the TV and refund! I never receive the TV and I need to pay for $109 to return the TV to cancel this order. I've lost my 1300 for 10 days and they want me to pay 109 for they to have had my money for 10 day. That's an amazing good job Amazon provides!

I tried several 2.1 speaker systems to enhance the sound from our LCD HDTV. The 2.1 speaker systems used the RCA audio output from the TV but I was never satisfied with the quality of the sound, even from the Bose Companion system. I think part of the problem is with the low-level output of the TV's RCA audio connection and for this reason I decided to look for a speaker system that could take advantage of my HDTV's digital optical audio output connection. I also didn't want to have a five-speaker system all around the room and so I focused my search on soundbar-type systems. The Sony HT-CT100, just recently introduced, fit the bill perfectly and comes at a price much lower than the Yamaha and Philips soundbar systems with optical inputs.
The Sony HT-CT100 produces great sound. The speaker bar is very low profile and takes up very little space whether you sit it in front of the TV or hang it on the wall. The subwoofer is large (about the size of a desktop PC) and sits on the floor. The

This lens can be summed up by the simple statement of "Good, but not great." It gets the job done without really excelling at it, and it is definitely not without its issues. That being said, you can't beat the price - depending on what you're looking for.
The price doesn't lie, and though the lens takes good pictures and offers a decent feature-set (IS under $300), it's not a top performer. Bokeh is a bit harsh, AF is somewhat slow and low-light is pretty much out. If you want to make a hobby out of shooting long focal lengths, do yourself a favor and give this a pass.
However, if you're more of a landscape photographer (like me) looking for nothing more than an adequate long-tele lens while you're spending your money on the awesome 10-22mm or a good 17-50mm f/2.8, this lens fits a VERY needed place in your bag.. A 70-200L f/4, it ain't - but it's also not $1,000.
All in all, you get what you pay for and it's good (bordering on sufficient) without being great at anything. It's

i love this camera. my previous cameras don't hold a candle to this one. i have a 1 yr old son who is constantly on the go, and it's easy to miss great shots of him. by the time my previous cameras would finally snap the picture, my son would already have walked out of the frame. this camera is very fast, and manages to capture amazing moments. the image stabilization works nicely and the pictures come out crips and clear. the camera is simple and easy to use for someone who doesn't like to fuss around with settings. great buy.

I could not wait for delivery company to bring to me. They said a couple of days and I said I can't wait. So I went to freight depot and picked up. Brought home 4 days ago, so still fine tuning all available options. You have never seen anything so beautiful to look at and the picture clairity is 2nd to none. This is my 2nd HD, the first a Vizio 37 inch. I know that they are not close in resolution but the brightness, shiny black finish, glass like screen, touch of red around outer edge, ethernet hookup to computer, DLNA, and all the other connections and options place this tv at the very top for me. My wife and I spent days and weeks searching for the perfect tv. We think that the Samsungs out did everything, maybe not a lot, but on brightness and resolution it really stood out. Then when you throw in price factor it is a no brainer to purchase this tv.

First off, this is a great tv. The video is perfect. Blu-ray, Xbox 360, PS3, and hd cable are amazing. The sound is not great, so I recommend a receiver surround sound system. Also, go to a local store like Best Buy or Circuit City to view this in action. With HD tv's you have to know what you are getting before you buy.
Pro's:

Great Dynamic Contrast Ratio
Great 5ms Speed for Games

While the product works it came with outdated mapping software. They want $70 to update. It is only a week old I should not have to pay for an update. The battery is non-replaceable so call this thing disposable after it stops taking a charge. A lot of money for something you throw away. I paid extra for Bluetooth now find out it is not compatible with all phones. I think when the battery dies I will take the $70 and buy one their competitors. Hopefully they will have better customer service.

I have been using this lens for about a month and I am very satisfied with it. The sharpness of the photographs is more than adequate for my needs and the VC works great. I routinely take photographs down to 1/8 which come out very sharp. When I need a flexible lens that will rapidly switch between wide angle and telephoto, this is the one I use.
Pros -
1. Huge range. I find my photographs are reasonably sharp at all focal lenths.
2. The VC works fantastic and truly allows you to capture photographs at much slower shutter speeds.
3. The build feels very solid.
4. Your options for a lens in this range are very limited. For the price and functionality I feel this is a very good lens.
5. The macro functionality works very well. It is not as good as a dedicated macro lens, but again, it is very nice to have the feature in an all-in-one lens.
Cons -
1. Without flash, this is not a practical indoors lens if your subjects are moving. For stationary objects the VC makes this an acceptable

I bought this player because I had started to build my HD-DVD library quickly and I refused to buy a Sony after their suspicious back room deals with the movie studios. A problem I experienced with my Toshiba HD-DVD players (yes, plural) was that standard audio CD's would not play well and would have small pauses during playback. This Samsung plays everything perfectly.
For those people who have never experienced HD-DVDs, consumers lost out in this format battle. There is a lot more to just getting 1080p from a disc. The menus, pause, play, etc. are so much better on HD-DVD than Blu-Ray.
So, for those of you who are like me and have a few HD-DVDs or are buying them on fire sale now and want to also be able to play Blu-Ray discs, I do highly recommend this player. I am not a major audiophile so I cannot speak directly of it's technical abilities, but I just know that all my movies, regardless of format, look and sound great using this player in my home theater with 8' screen.

I purchased this camera to take on vacation because 1) it was small and light weight, 2) it had a 5x optical zoom, and 3) it had a high ISO option that should allow it to take photos in less than perfect light.
I found that yes, it was small and light weight; yes, it would zoom in closer than my old camera; but no, it did not take better photos in less than perfect light.
NONE of the photos taken with this camera are as clear and sharp as those I took with my old Kodak point-and-shoot. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I could not get a clear, sharp photo with this camera no matter what I tried. They all looked something like an impressionistic painting -- not what I was going for. Can I return it?

I just bought this camera two days ago from a camera store (yes, of course it's cheaper here). I have four other cameras, two film (Nikons) and two digital (one Nikon and one Olympus), but I wanted something that I could fit in my purse or backpack. Many times I want to take pictures, but am too lazy to carry my camera gear unless I'm planning a photo outing. This camera literally fits into my jeans pocket so I will be able to carry it every day.
So far I find the camera's menu systems are similar to the menu on my other Nikon cameras (N80, D70). This makes the learning curve easier. When you turn the camera off, the lens collapses into the body of the camera, and there is a lens cover that closes over the lens to protect it. That isn't shown in the photograph.
I like that the camera allows you to turn off the flash if you don't want it on. I like to do natural light photography; sometimes I don't want the flash. Too many point-and-shoots try to think for the photographer and "fix" everything

I had been researching (stalking) the Samsung 71 series for about 7 months as I thought that had the best picture I had seen. Well it was, until this model came out. I have the original firmware and have not had a reset but when I do I will just upgrade the firmware so that issue has been taken care of. This set is amazing. My girlfriend and her brother are definitely not videophiles by any means and when they first saw the picture they both said, "I don't even know what to say. I can't imagine a better picture." Her brother even said, "I know you told me that you were getting a new tv but I never expected this." Yes, it is that good. It is a little bright out of the box but after applying CNET's settings it looks awesome. The AMP feature on this tv might not be for everyone (I love it and usually watch everything but movies on high and I usually watch movies on low or medium) but even with it off the 120hz refresh rate helps reduce motion blur. This is huge for sports. I have

I purchased the LN46A650 on April 25. It was delivered to me by CEVA a few days later. Since I was at work that day, the delivery people called me way ahead of time, so I could take off from work, and meet them at my house. They communicated with me from their cell phone in their truck.
The two guys that delivered the set were just great. They carefully
carried it into my house, unpacked the set, and placed it into my cabinet,
carefully. Before this, they carried away my old projection TV clunker
and into another room. What great service! These guys were very polite
and the whole thing was a great experience. The set was turned on by them
in order to make sure it worked properly.
I have allways been worried about purchasing something like this on the internet, BUT, thanks to the excellence of AMAZON.COM, I had nothing
to worry about. They are simply the best. I probably saved close to $1000.
And the TV set, what can I say, it is absolutely amazing,
possibly the best quality for the money

I already owned a Sony A100 and liked it alot, so when the A350 came out I was expecting it to be good - and it is. Some additional controls, true TTL viewing, even longer battery life than the A100 - which means I've taken more than 1,000 photos at maximum quality without a battery change - and it handles quickly and accurately. I have a few lenses, but like the flexibility of the Sony 18-200mm zoom so it's on the camera most of the time. The disadvantage with that lens is that it's slow (4.5 to 6.3 at 200mm) so it's not really suitable for people shots, unless they're in bright sunlight. However, the lens is fine for objects, buildings or anything that's not going to move quickly. I was in Marrakech recently and found the camera and lens a great combination, although they're big and obvious enough to make it difficult to shoot candid portraits. Now I'm looking for a 135mm f.2.4 lens so I can shoot in shadows.

Although the product is good product, please be aware that TomTom will not honor the 30 day free map upgrade when you purchase the devide from a third party that is not an authorized seller, even if it is factory sealed when you buy it. For example, individules selling "New" products on Amazon Marketplace do not qualify, and it will cost you $99.95 for the update.

I had a Sigma 70-300 APO zoom telephoto that produced good colors, but was essentially useless due to frequent camera shake. I sold the lens and got this Canon zoom.
a) It is capable of producing pretty sharp pictures if the subjects don't move fast. I compared this with two other lenses; the famed Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 and sharp Sigma 30mm f/1.4 (I own both and with these 3 lens I am pretty much committed to crop DSLRs). While the Tamron and Sigma get sharp shots without too much work, I have noticed that this Canon needs a bit of careful handling to get equally sharp shots even at the wide end.
b) The colors are a bit faded, but very easily corrected in Lightroom (or a warming filter).
c) The construction is pretty cheap, but generally nothing to worry about if handled gently. However, the filter threads are thin plastic and I almost damaged the threads when putting on filters for the first time. I got a dedicated Sigma DG 58mm UV filter permanently affixed on it so that any other

Pentax K20D 14.6MP Digital SLR Camera with Shake Reduction (Body Only)
We are amateur photo shooters and have a 5 year old digital Kodak - which was okay for snap shooting -
Now for the PENTAX K20D 14.6MP Digital Camera we offer this review.
It is the TRUE amateur's friend. It is in a completely different class to the old technology, including 35mm film format. It is way ahead in the performance field for its class of digital camera. We are glad to be back in the SLR type of camera too.
Right after arrival of our new K20D camera we did a PROM photo session on our patio with 5 couples - what a pleasure to shoot when you have the time right - what is the right time? - a series of shots 2, 3, 4 or 5 with each setting and this camera is so fast you can outshoot the point and shoots by a mile - and great results too - Our daughter was assisting with her PENTAX K10D and both of these DIGITAL CAMERA'S are recommended highly by us. We experienced a number of comments from others sharing

I will say people who like this one are Apple lovers or have simple brains.
This one is durable and has long lasting battery, but all you can do is listening the musci from the beggining to the end. That's it.
I forgot, you can stop and pause music too.
If you think this is good because of low price, then YP U3 might be better.

One of my biggest purchases with Amazon and it went as smooth as possible. The picture on this TV is amazing. FiOS HD can be almost too much pretty on one screen with this TV, it's a bit overwhelming at first. Standard def channels are of course a less clear but better than expected. The only issue I have with this TV is the length of time to power on and off. You also have to point the remote just right sometimes or the function won't register. Small issue though, hardly worth docking points off this unit.
The menu is wonderful and gives complete control over settings. Each input saves your settings too! The AVS Forums have a great thread concerning settings for each input that should be checked out and tested. A little tweaking got the black levels and skin tone just right.
I haven't tested the VGA input, but my Macbook Pro connected with a DVI-HDMI cable is amazing! My FiOS is connected via HDMI and as I mentioned, quite beautiful. I also have a Wii hooked up via component.
