Pros: you can download a trial version, great tools, better than gimp, easy to understand, easy to use, rendering is easy as pie
Cons: freezes sometimes when trying to type text (for me and I have seen other reports about this), there is no brushes folder like in CS3, if downloading through internet it takes like a whole day to install all of the stuff
This is a pretty great program. It is better than GIMP, but GIMP is free. Anyways, enough about GIMP. Now, I never actually owned CS4. I had only bought CS3 and my friend gave me a serial code for CS5.
Now, in CS3 there was actually a folder for brushes. But in CS5 there is none, which was pretty disappointing to me. Also sometimes the program freezes when I'm trying to open the text editor. I don't know why this happens. Enough about the cons, let's talk about the pros.
This is pretty easy to understand and easy to use, even if you're new to Photoshop. Importing things like text can be hard, but for the most part this program is really easy. Is it just me, or is rendering pictures in CS5 easier than rendering pictures in CS3?
Overall, it is very good. I give it a... 4! This has been my review of Adobe Photoshop CS5.
