Aha2Y - Where should I keep shortcuts to my project files and folders?
I do not understand why people are afraid of having shortcuts to files and folders on their desktop. You have sorta thrown away your best productivity tool by not using it for its designed purpose. Wallpaper and other blinky lights and such are really just toys. Maybe to break your habit of thinking the desktop is sacred you could use a simple textured repeating tile for awile and get used to making shortcuts and sending them to desktop with the 'sendto' menu option. These are not new concepts; I consider the understanding of the use of the desktop and shortcuts to be fundamental to computer literacy.
