yours work on both because it does not deal with chat COMMANDS all it is is an on text event and then describing to a channel so of course if it works in the first place it'll work on chatspace and ircd. my snippet deals with a chat command that ircd doesnt use therefore no it won't work and its not meant to work on ircd only chatspace

there are different commands to do stuff in chatspace than there are on ircd. chatspace doesnt have nickserv and memoserv and that stuff. example of diff command .instead of .msg nickserv identify passhere to identify when you log on its /pass passhere

ircd servers being better is an opinion. i do not think they are better nor do a lot of my friends. i hate ircd i like chatspace. so i code for chatspace

that is not true there are a lot of chatspaces and chatspace users and i know a lot of people who have used the snippet. that would be like me saying why would you post a snippet that only works on ircd on someones snippet. thats the most retarded thing ever. some people like me HATE ircd servers and prefer chatspace
