That's just it. They are more concerned with it getting done, and not how it's done. The problem is the fact that people try to sell how to do it instead of selling the solution itself.

Everything looks good so far. :)

So this still doesn't work. When I try to place ships, it keeps coming up with errors after I'm trying to place the fourth piece.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: mIRC Script Editor Reloader  -  Jan 13, 2012
Well, like I said, I tried all that and none of it worked. That's the reason I made this script. I'm running 7.22 and idk why it won't work. D:
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: mIRC Script Editor Reloader  -  Jan 12, 2012
Seriously, I've tried. I can't get anything to shut it off.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Another Mock Snuffy  -  Jan 12, 2012
I like how clean it is, how easily readable it is. While I've not tested it, and I don't really feel like I need to because it's not something I play, I assume you've tested and worked most of the major bugs out, yes? :)

Either way, good job.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: LastBattle  -  Nov 05, 2011
I sent you a PM. Did you get it?
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: LastBattle  -  Oct 27, 2011
Picwins can do this, as long as the player has a script to read from the bot and transform it into a picwin.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Zombies! v1.4  -  Aug 24, 2011
Try using /rank kills annaiidziithaa or /rank kills 1

First one will give the rank number of the specified player while the second example will give you the name of the selected rank number.

I think your errors were the ones to cause the earthquake in Japan. Lol.

Another new update with lots of changes, for those who care. :)

Aw... I was just having some fun... :(
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: mIRC Arrays v3  -  Jan 11, 2011
Well, to be fair, it's only easier if you actually know what you're doing, and since you're the one who created the script, you would obviously understand it, but as for me, since I'm accustomed to using hash, var, and ini, I don't see any beneficial gain other than having to learn a new way of doing something I already know how to do; so really, there is no "easier" part to this.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: mIRC Arrays v3  -  Jan 11, 2011
To each his own, I suppose. I just don't really see a need to use this script to create an array in a way that's already available to me using the methods you explained above.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: mIRC Arrays v3  -  Jan 11, 2011
So this is just a different way to use hash tables?
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Zombies! v1.4  -  Jan 08, 2011
Fixed a few bugs.

Sorry, but I just noticed your comment. When the game was posted, it was before Halloween.

I know this is really old, but use

instead of

evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Elvish/Drow translator  -  Nov 30, 2010
if it only does one word at a time, it can't really be considered a translator. I'd look for another site to socket to.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Elvish/Drow translator  -  Nov 26, 2010
The Drow translator seems to work pretty well, and names for Drows work, but nothing else seems to really work. Also, you don't have to keep re-defining the alias htmlfree. Just one definition is sufficient, and you also probably should use alias -l htmlfree { ... } so it won't be confused with another script.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Zombies! v1.4  -  Oct 10, 2010
I almost did, but the only reason I didn't is because of the fact that I wanted people to be able to read it and copy/paste it rather than download it.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Dragon-Based Timer Game  -  Aug 22, 2010
henrique.v.oliveira: reload the new script and it should auto make you admin.

cutiechan: I wasn't really planning on updating the bot that much, because it's meant to be a bare-bone bot for people to edit/add their own stuff to. =) I may add a few new features once I finish them, but that's about it.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Dragon-Based Timer Game  -  Aug 16, 2010
Anthos, this is just the bare bones of the game, and I'm still working on more. I dunno if I will add more to the script, but this is like a small working part of the game.

cutiechan, I had considered a top 10, and I may still add it, but for now, it's just a cosmetic thing to me. Also, the reason it was set that way was because I had the bot in separate chans, but thanks for the note. I meant to make this as clean as possible for people to use. =)
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Yawn explode  -  May 24, 2010
if !%f

If I'm not mistaken, that means "if %f does not exist..." I could be wrong.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: Yawn explode  -  May 23, 2010
Is a regex really necessary? Just curious.
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: iDM [mIRC v.1.5]  -  Apr 22, 2010
I haven't because I'm lazy. Thanks for pointing that out. =D
evilMonkey commented on mIRC Snippet: iDM [mIRC v.1.5]  -  Apr 19, 2010
Just because the script is made in mSL and not SQL doesn't make it inferior, and the name iDM is not copyrighted or trademarked, so there's really nothing you can do about it.

Put it back in the womb... It's not done yet... *scratches out eyes*

Any chance you can rename the script from 'idm' because this really doesn't compare to iDM. For one thing, iDM uses SQL http://idm-bot.com/idm1.png

That doesn't really even matter. The same thing can be done in an *.ini file and some hash tables. Just because it's in SQL doesn't make it superior.

Just saying.
