For some reason this snippet has stopped working for me :/ Edit: Thanks to the hard work of FordLawnMower this baby is not working again \o/
RicJames commented on Comment: Twitter Stream  -  6 days ago
I have tried running this in 3 different clients including two that have nothing else loaded, and two different networks, but for some reason no matter what I do I can't get it to work :/

I tried it with another clean mirc and it worked. I guess that means one of my snippet's is conflicting with the process. Any idea what kind of script would cause the conflict?

Awesome. Thank You.
RicJames commented on Comment: Twitter Stream  -  7 days ago
The error in the status window has stopped but the script still refuses to work :/

Does anyone know how to get a user's twitter feed to output to irc now that Twitter has stopped supporting rss?
RicJames commented on Comment: Twitter TweetBot  -  7 days ago
I followed the instructions 100%, the only other thing is some numbers.

Not working for me I keep getting " MIRCTWITTER Unknown command " Error.
RicJames commented on Comment: Twitter TweetBot  -  7 days ago
How did you get it to work? I'm getting the same error. My password has a ! in it.

(15|Nov 3:29:37pm) <RicJames> .AddAuth XXXXaGljYWxGcmVlZG9tOk15xxxxxxxx=
(15|Nov 3:29:50pm) <Swift> Password/Username Error --> HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized
(15|Nov 3:29:53pm) <Swift> You must supply your twitter information to me in private. Syntax: .AddAuth username:password
(15|Nov 3:29:55pm) <Swift> You may also use the more secure method if you are using mIRC by typing in the following in MY Query window.
(15|Nov 3:29:58pm) <Swift> //say .AddAuth $encode(username:password,m)
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Twitter TweetBot  -  Nov 14, 2012
@FordLawnmower Yep I tried it with the m and still the same result.
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Twitter TweetBot  -  Nov 13, 2012
@FordLawnmower Yes. I tried the troubleshooting steps you suggested above but none seem to work.

@FordLawnmower I keep getting Password/Username Error --> HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized any ideas on how to fix?
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Twitter Stream  -  Oct 31, 2012
@FordLawnmower Just wondering if it would be possible to have a link after each tweet, so that you can click it and view it in your browser?
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Twitter Stream  -  Oct 29, 2012
Awesome, Thanks so much FordLawnmower

RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Weather script for mIRC  -  Jun 09, 2012
I just upgraded to 4.1 to test it out and I've noticed a small problem. Every time you type !weather or !w it will now message you with the Weather help list and in status window i get this error:

WU_CLEANUP Unknown command
-
WU_CLEANUP Unknown command
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Weather script for mIRC  -  May 28, 2012
Thanks eqrunner.
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Weather script for mIRC  -  May 26, 2012
none taken, I understand. I'm not having any problems with the while code, it's just for some reason your first response to me alternates between that code and the if (%wu_command == !weather) etc.
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Weather script for mIRC  -  May 25, 2012
I'm not that dumb eqrunner :/ ofc the users are registered with the bot.

Also how come when I open this first it shows your code that you've posted above as just the correction to the erroneous code i typed yet when I refresh I suddenly get

Code

RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Weather script for mIRC  -  May 25, 2012
It's still not working :/ not getting any error messages. Do I need to modify any other lines?

Edit: Did you do a sneaky edit to your code or something? I coulda sworn when i first checked here you'd just put in the code i had but without the extra if.
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Weather script for mIRC  -  May 23, 2012
Hi is there a way to make it trigger on !w for registered users?

I tried to modify the below line like so but it's still not working.
if (%wu_command == !weather) || (%wu_command == !current) || (%wu_command == !time) || if (%wu_command == !w) {

Thanks.
RicJames commented on mIRC Snippet: Log Viewer  -  Mar 27, 2012
It only displays the log files in your main logs folder, it ignores all the other folders. Like for example if you sort your logs by network it won't display the contents of those folders.

Also is their a way to make it only display the logs from the network where it's called?

Is there a way to change the default colour of the stars in the rating? I've changed the text colour to 14 (grey) and i've noticed that seems to be the default colour for the stars as well so of course it doesn't show how many stars out of 10 it got.
