Simple auto-join script with a dialog to manage networks and channels. This auto-join script lets you have different channels for different networks, because you don't obviously idle in the same channels on every network. I made this because I got lazy and didn't want to have to keep typing out '/join #channel.'
Thanks for the constructive criticism, I really appreciate it. I'll look into what you told me and see how it works. However, with your comment about the evaluation brackets: I did originally not have any. However, the script wasn't reading what I had correctly and would not work. After putting in the evaluation brackets it worked how I intended. So I don't know why that is, but I know you're right that I don't need them which has always been weird to me. Ever since I upgraded both my OS and to mIRC 6.35 I've had issues I use to not have.
A password manager script that allows you to store your passwords for your nicknames and channels. Can store for multiple networks, but not for multiple nicknames. This script's auto identification feature assumes you only use one password for the entire network, meaning only one group of nicknames.
0 isn't anywhere in the scripting itself. The error occurs when you're trying to msg. Like if you just type 0 and hit 'Enter' like if your trying to just chat like normal. It isn't a major bug, because rarely someone starts a line of text with 0, but it is an error nonetheless.
By the way, Updated. Windows XP Users should be able to use the script now. Please let me know any more errors that occur.
Scakk I tested out the theory and its not the problem. The problems lies somewhere with the alias msg on lines 531-547. I've look at it over and over, and I just can't seem to see the problem... I've even thrown in an echo to see if $2 was even being read. Which would be the '0'
It's a minor inconvenience, but damn does it bug not to know why it's doing that....
Ok, this is my updated version of an Away Script I made awhile back. I've tested it, and it should work. You just copy/paste into your remotes (alt + r) and either click 'Away System' in ur menu bar, or right click in a channel to find it. Make sure to add at least one Away Nick and Away Reason to stop the only error messages I found in this script. After that it should be pretty much self explanatory.
Ok first problem:
if (%knick == $me) {
if (%bnick == $me) {
That should be:
if ($knick == $me) {
if ($bnick == $me) {
Or else it will retaliate on ever single ban and kick made. And than when those fixes are made, it will try to protect even you dont have status. Which can probably lead to lagging. It needs work, even to call it simple. Sorry if I sound harsh dude, but its the truth.
