I have an older linksys WRT54G model.
I found some various opensource firware versions for it.... After doing so, i could tweak the power output, etc, for optimum SNR.
You may be able to do the same thing with either router mentioned above.

Just an update: I have not rebooted this router since i posted about it here. That was three months ago. This thing works great, no need to get a new "N" router thats for sure.

I can pretty much zip on through right out of the box. I would say that I only have to edit words that are not used everyday. Once I add them to the vocabulary the software teaches itself.

Your review came out quite clean. Do you have to finesse the text as you're speaking or can you pretty much zip on through?

My Asus is pure crap, it keeps crashing. Does that ever happen with your Linksys?
