Ive been reading through the statcounter.com forum lately and found alot of useful linking towards seo. Also alt of tips on how to improve your site, should be something for everyone there.

Also found this link, could be useful to check your website with this before submitting it for crawling. It checks for hidden links and spam.

It's not a great idea to trust external stat programs. They can be used as a guideline, but the best stat programs run locally. I really like Urchin and Awstats.

Didnt recommend statcounter, although I quite content with their services, but their forum. Seems like there are many who helps toward SEO of websites there. Also I have to use an external stat of 2 reasons:
1. dont have the host to other
2. probably would have screwed it up if i tried to
statcounter is a great alternative if you have no other choice like me than an external..
